Most people want a happy retirement or an empower retirement. They want to retiresmart being able to use their 401k, Roth, pension plan and even have an early retirement.
In my extensive travels, there are a few places where I would want to retire. Puerto Vallarta Mexico is one of the best places to retire for its affordability, weather, amazing culture and food, small town feel and more. Some like Puerto Vallarta snorkeling while others prefer to sit and look at the ocean. It is surrounded by mountains on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. With tropical temperatures all year around, it’s easy to see why this has become such a popular destination for snowbirds, retirees and families.
Real Estate agent and friend Taniel Chemsian has been a Puerto Vallarta resident for the last 17 years. He shares why Puerto Vallarta may be the place you will want to retire.
You can get an inside look as to what makes these neighborhoods appealing, how much a home costs, as well as other things you should know before you make the commitment to move.

I’m from Washington and I know about rain and yet I’m still moving fwd to my move there. Just looking for the right neighborhood for my pooch and I.
PV was such a lovely place to spend time. It's getting closer to Cancun everyday.....the romantic zone is NEVER quiet anymore. Condos everywhere, oh well, progress. There was a time I could just leave my car on the road anywhere...lol....great updates....stay safe.

wow - can't imagine what PV was like 10+ years ago.
A suggestion: next P.V. interview, show a map of these areas for newbies, I appreciate your face to face chat, but details are missed easily. Show the city areas and highlight spots and even show some short video shots. Thanks, and I appreciate Taniel's calm approach, no hype or extra chatter, just the facts. Thanks Sir. ...
Very informative. Thank you.
My friend has a beautiful new furnished 1 BR 1BA for rent in a good PV neighborhood. WiFi is included and there are two Energy Efficient A/Cs. It is a close walk to the ocean. 12,000. per month.
Great job guys!

thanks so much!
Thanks!
Possibly comment on any pull back in real estate values PV is experiencing, as the US and Canada is experiencing. Also the rising financial requirements to become a resident, as the rules seem to change frequently.
Very informative! Lots of options in PV… one or two more years and I’ll be able to buy.

yes and there is also Bucerias, Mismaloya - close by towns that are seeing some growth as well but more affordable.
Great interview you covered everything except the cost & price for the houses.

I don’t have a personality. Just love humble people)))
How are the internet speeds? That is extremely important to me because of my financial occupation. Thanks🦁
Do the rains disrupt connectivity to internet? Thank you, J
It's sad to see Vallarta losing its charm with all the crazy construction going on everywhere. Concerning to see gentrification taking place and the government not caring. It's all about the money, I suppose.

I just wanted to say that I watched a lot of your videos before buying and got some great advice from you so thanks for that. I'm buying in the area across the river from Fluvial as it was cheaper, quieter and had nice flat sidewalks. I'm curious if you think that this might be a future popular neighborhood as PV's expat community continues to grow.

Fluvial and Versalles are definitely up and coming neighborhoods as you can probably tell by the construction in and around that area. Best of luck with your purchase!

I love bucerias...up and coming for sure - feels like what PV was 15-20 years ago...
My plan was to retire in PV but after I visited 2 weeks ago I change my mind, construction is out of control, downtown building are old and ugly el malecon is full of vendors nothing charm about it, I predict its down fall in a few years.
@dreamretirementinmexico

hard to predict for sure. visiting a town is definitely critical before moving so it is good to know that PV is not the right fit for you.

@carlosvillegas6113 PV is cool to visit every now and then but nothing exciting about it to me. Overrated to me personally! If you’re looking for low key and very soon to explode is the State of Campeche. I recently purchased beachfront lots to build. There’s an enormous project going on for residential and five star resorts. Not to mention aside from that but the reason why I purchased for the upside of real estate going up is, the Tren Maya opens this December 2023. It’s route will be throughout Yucatán, Cancun, Chiapas, Tabasco and Campeche. Something to consider not to mention right now it’s extremely affordable.
You will laugh. There is Astrocartolophy, where you should live according to your astrological chart!
This lady is very condescending
these people talk too much
