The point Taniel made near the end about people not being afraid to pack up and leave the US anymore is spot on. Many of us have had it with the nonsense, and I'm not talking about the politics. It's the over priced everything and lack of options. We're over it. Great video.

thanks very much. Best of luck as you plan your next chapter!
My wife and I are vacationing in PV this October. We love the area! We are planning on making this a scouting trip for a condo as we would like to buy within 2 years. Plan to retire there within 7 years. Can’t wait!! The U. S. Has become intolerable.

Are you here in PV now?
When we visited PV our hotel is Costa Sur. I believe that's very close to where 2 guys lived. It's beautiful & not far out of town.
I have been in PV for 2 years now. To have a solid middle class lifestyle in Puerto Vallarta, a person needs at least $2,500.-$3,000. USD per month. This does not include comprehensive medical insurance!
Thank you for these great videos about Mexico and PV. Very helpful. 💃☀️🌺🌴

Same for my partner and I from sacramento ca
We live in Albuquerque and New Mexico Bank and Trust is our bank too!
I hope people can get a handle on the issue of living in PV during the hot humid summer unless they are snowbirds who live there only from November to March. We have clouds on the horizon with concern by the Mexican government that the United States is serious about taking unilateral military action against the cartels. What effect will this have on tourist, expats and development in Mexico?
Is there area that are 30 minutes to an hour drive away that may have affordable housing ? We need 4 bedrooms ??
Hi. Great video a lot of information. Thank you. Could I buy a property first and then request temporary residency?

yes you can.
Great video and information. I wonder how much for a 2/2 condo or apartment not high end building - rent would be? We are thinking in 2 years it's time to leave the states. I always watch the HGTV Mexico shows. Thnx for sharing

It really depends on the neighborhood...also if you want a cheaper price, then we recommend that you start your lease during the low season (during the summer) and you will have more negotiating power.

@@dreamretirementinmexico ok... thank you
Any idea what the cost would be to build a 200mt2 house on the hills of Amapas? Any price range idea?
If your husband is originally born in Mexico and now living in Canada... is it easier to get pm?

what is pm? permanent residency? Is your husband a Mexican citizen?
If we are looking for a rich cultural experience spending time with a lot of Mexicans, speaking Spanish, and living like a local etc. can we get that in Puerto Vallarta or is it just gringos everywhere?
@ModernAging

it really depends on where you are in Puerto Vallarta. There are areas where it is gringos everywhere and then if you step outside of those areas it is all locals... so it is possible
Can you give further clarification on Vallarta's drinking water? We visited PV this past March and everyone kept telling us Puerto Vallarta's water is totally safe. Many people also told us Vallarta is the second town/city in all of Mexico after Jalisco with the safest drinking water...

The locals drink bottled water. Enough said!
Great video. Unfortunately I don't retire for 10 years. Maybe I can save enough to retire early. 😁

You can always do it slowly like some folks. where you spend vacations and then extended vacations, then months at a time and before you know it, you are full retired!
