    A) Why were there an Arab majority region in this area? Because of the Ottoman empire! The amazing Ottoman empire, the modern Islamic empire, ruled over millions of square kilometers, for hundreds of years. Before them there were Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and even the civilization of Mesopotamia. But an Independent land of Palestine? The term "Palestine" was used by these ancient empires to describe this region, but there was never a "Palestinian" state, nor "Palestinian" people nor "Palestinian" culture. There were just inhabitants of empires, that moved around (you can even check it out! The ancient people living in this area from the time the Roman empire ruled this land are not the same people that lived in this area in the time of the Ottoman empire). B) "A war started in 1947". While the Israelis accepted the UN's proposition, the Arabs living in this regions declined and didn't even want to talk to UN representatives. After the UN's declaration, The Arabs living in this state started attacking Israeli villages, and called to all the neighboring nations to "throw the Jews into the sea". But somehow, the tiny Israeli state won. Frankly, Israel, by reasonable thinking, should have been destroyed. But it didn't! Stop talking like the entire story is one sided. You are deluding everyone. Nice graphics though.

+Kari Noriy It was neither of their land to begin with, you know how many times that worthless strip of land has been reconquered and borders rehashed prior to this sensationalized bull s***? None of them can in good conscience make the claim "I was here first". And even if we were to entertain this childish notion of "first come first serve", it doesn't mean the land will be best utilized to help humanity by either party. Humanity has bigger problems coming down the pipe that WILL take precedence over this trivial crap and if they don't settle the hell down and "play nice", they're going to be scratched off this earth. When crisis faces humanity and leisure is becoming more scarce with increasing demand for survival, you better believe the most burdensome groups will be the first to go. Like it or not, they're surviving off the tolerant nature of the rest of the world and survival tends to wear thin the patience required for that.

Most theologians agree that in God's covenant with Abraham, the land God was giving to the Hebrew nation was roughly what we now call Israel and Jordan. The city of Jericho sits West of the Jordan river but when Moses led the Hebrew people out of Egypt, he led them to the Jordan river where they crossed over and settled in Canaan which was mostly East of the Jordan river.

There is another critical way that the statement that Israel now is the majority of Palestine, is false ― Jordan is ~80% of Palestine. Israel is currently a fifth\20% of the previous Palestine land. So if you want to give the Palestinians a proper size land to live on, where they already lived ― you can easily fix it. And it won't even be fair to the Jews. P.S. to OP ― there were many things that weren't mentioned in this video :-D.

They forget the fact we were subjected to dhimmi status and not allowed to our holiest sites! If there is a "free palestine", Iran, Syria, or Jordan will take the opportunity to colonize it or turn it into another Iranian proxy state and what will happen to all the israeli cities and villages will make what happened in Gaza look like the morning dew. Hard to swallow the truth? People still confuse between who rules/occupies/colonize a land, and the nation who actually lives there. When the Middle East was under the rule of the Ottomans for over 800 years it didn't become the land of the Turks, same thing when the English came along (not only to Palestine, but also Jordan, Iraq and Egypt) the and remained Arab (Jewish, Christian and Muslim all together). And so, bringing a bunch of European zionist Jews in under British sponsorship doesn't change ethnic right of the people who LIVE THERE. Saying anything except that is like saying colonized India was inhibited by the British just because they ruled over it. The actual difference here is that this particular occupation happened at a time when the world had supposedly developed international laws (which it broke) which in turn should be overthrown and occupiers should go back to their original lands (given that the threat on Jews in Europe has be eradicated).

Alaanot3ala: They didn't make the partition, it was the UN who made the partition, and the countries of the world voted. Those lands were part of the Ottoman Empire and passed to British hands after WW1. The British were the ones who divided the Ottoman Empire lands and they promised a piece of land to the Jews through the Balfour Declaration. The British however didn't wanna make the Arabs mad because they were their main source of oil. That's why they passed the hot potato to the UN. Now in 1948 Israel was not even close to have the army they have now. The Arabs and Israel were pretty equal militarily back then. When you say slaughter the population that's quite amusing. It was a civil war and there were casualties on both sides. Israel was attacked by 7 Arab countries and everybody thought they were over, no one came to their rescue, and by every ones surprise they defeated the Arabs. Your point is actually the real problem of the issue. The problem is not land because even if you get half of it you won't be happy. Land is the scapegoat. The ultimate goal is to completely eradicate Jewish presence. And you pretty much expect the Jews to just sit back and let you do it? Ridiculous!

Robert Campbell 1. So everyone BUT the Palestinians decided how the land was to divided? 2. In 1948 Israel had the dominant military. Even with combined Arab strength, the Israelis had greater manpower and weapons. The Arabs were divided, had poor communication, little ammunition and were divided internally. When the arms shipment from Czechoslovakia arrived, Israeli victory was assured.

This is Swiss Cheese Journalism. That's when you attempt to present your opinions as facts. After you have formed the opinion you intend to use, you look at historical facts and cull only those points that may lend an ounce of credibility to your hypothesis and what you're left with is a story that's so full of holes it looks like a piece of Swiss Cheese. And this poor girl doesn't even do a good job at that because the few points of history she mentions she deliberately twists, and clumsely fabricates. This girl isn't even a good liar.

So much easier to just accept whatever these pathological liars tell them then to do a little research and figure things out for themselves. I watched today's top pathological liar, Dr. Karmi, on an Arab produced television show, look directly into the camera and state that the Balfour Declaration dictates that the Arabs leave Palestine to make room for a Zionist State. That statement is going to become a universal truth because few people are going to take the time to read 3 or 4 paragraphs and realize how incidious this woman is. That is why every single remark uttered by anyone - regardless of how cavalier it may be spoken - must be challenged. We cannot give these people 1 more inch - not 1 more grain of sand.

Okay so before I begin I assume all the pro-'palastinians' or whatever you name yourself also keep protesting against what is STILL going on in Syria, Aritrey, Sudan, Poland and etc, 'coz like the song says you are "all about humane 'bout humane" right? Okay so, the woman says the 'plan never happend' referring to the U.Ns' plan regarding the 2 state country, well it didn't happen because the arabs denied it on the sight of it, that happend 2 more times on later dates, he/she continued to lie on and on about the villages destroyed in the "war that broke out" well, you know, when 4 countries, come on 1 and the 1 country wins, obviously they won't sit and wait for the villagers who by the way also helped in the war to do it again, so they simply demolished the traitors house and took what's rightfully NOBODY's! as no agreement was signed and the british left! It was UNCLAIMED LAND, so to conclude, spare me of correcting all of the twisted vids and just spread my word.

Leaving out key facts to distort reality? "War broke out un 1948..." well tell me why that was? Historical Palestine - what is that? The history of Palestine dates back way before there was EVER a national identity called Palestinian. Make this video a minute longer and incorporate a few of the essential details, then I'll pay closer attention.

This round of fighting was sparked over a dispute over land in East Jerusalem. The short version of this dispute is Jews buying the land while the Ottoman Empire ruled the area, however during 1948 (Israeli Independence War), the Jordanian Arab Legion has conquered East Jerusalem and deported all Jews living there, and giving their properties for the fleeing Palestinians to live there. Fast forward to 1967 (Six Day War), Israel has liberated all of Jerusalem. Jews that owned those properties sued after the current occupants refused to pay rent, and as the land wasn’t theirs, lower circuit court has ordered their eviction until blocked by the Supreme Court following riots by the Palestinians. Said riots have spilled into the Al Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third holiest site, in which they assaulted police officers with stones, firework launchers and pepper spray. It was also accompanied by an attempted lynching of a Jewish driver

I am amazed as to how can some people be so misled. Firstly, the war of 1948 was sparked by the Arabs (the Jews agreed to the preposition, unlike what was implied by the narrator, that both sides didn't like the plan) and so Israel had the right to occupy some land. Later in 1967, Israel indeed start the war but only against Syria and Egypt, Jordan decided to attack and so Israel took over the West bank. Throughout all this time, Israel NEVER forcefully evacuated any Arabs, they all left on their own. Ask the 1.7 million Arabs who live in Israel and receive equal rights to other Jews. To sum up, This video is strongly very anti-Israeli like every other video made by AJ+

Yeah when you say "War Broke out"...common. Every country around Israel attacked it Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt with the goal of annihilating Isarel and driving the Jews into the sea. Did you know that when Germany lost their AGGRESSIVE war in 1945, they lost 20% of land AND were forced to take in about 20,000,000 Germans living outside of Germany? What happens when you lose a war of aggression, you usually lose land. Yes Israel is bigger today than it was in 1947 but like the other youtube user stated, the Arabs REJECTED the Partition rendering it non binding and ATTACKED the newly formed State thereby causing a "war of aggression" Don't forget, there already is a Palestinian Majority in a place called JORDAN which is ruled by foreigners that have no claim to any land anywhere. Also it's not a "separation wall" - it's a security fence that saved THOUSANDS of lives because Palestinians unlike Jews value death and honour more than life and peace. If it was truly about separation then Israel would separate areas in Haifa, Jaffa and other areas where about 20% of it's citizens are PALESTINIANS! (which of course is a made up nationality, it's like saying Americans who live in California are Californians which is true for the State but it's not their nationality) These Palestinians are "Arabs" and lived in the "Ottoman empire" and if they wanted to have a State, from 48-67 they were ruled by Egypt and Jordan, why didn't they create one?

So Palestine was never a country, just an area of the ottoman empire. But History Clearly proves that Jews were there before the Ottoman empire. So once that collapsed, Jews got their land back and the Left over Turkish muslims got angry about the fact the Jews came back home. Got it. Thanks for the video update =-)

Emm what about telling what really happened in 1948? A 1 day old country of Israel was attacked by the Arab league army's and won the war of independence so yeah if you mess with the bull you get the horns! The only one to blame for the only one to so call "Nakba" is the Arab league. The "Balfour Declaration" are you joking? If it had happened there would not have been a genocide for the Jew in world war 2, just 5 years after the declaration of 1917 that call Israel the rightful home of the Jews in 1922 the White Paper has limit the migration of Jews to Israel and by 1939 the second white paper limit Jews migration to 10k a year! And a total of 75k between 1940~1944 (a time were 6milion Jews murdered by Nazis) but you just "forgot all of this" Keep this in mind the use of "Palestinians" as a detention of people was not in use until the creation of the state of Israel and mainly after 1967 at Arab states never wanted to create a state for the "Palestinians" in the land of British mandate Palestine it would have been added to Egypt / Jordan and Syria. And yet with all that one of the best places in the world for a Palestine to live in , is within the state of Israel as an Israeli citizen where he or she can get any education he wish vote for the government , get government found health care work where ever he wish think freely say what's on his mind and achieve his or her dream. Can they do it in the web bank? Gaza strip ? Jordan? Or maybe peaceful Syria? Probably not but in Israel they can.

Israeli Palestinians express their main to freely. Can the Palestinians in Gaza say that too? Sure if they wanna be killed right after that by Hamas followers see what happen to the lost once who opposed Hamas in the battle of Gaza in 2007 Fatah followers were thrown from the 16h floor of Gaza billings. Blind by my government that just funny tell did you know that Israel agreed to 3 … 3 ceasefires requested by Hamas the UN guess who broke them? If you would have truly care about the people of Gaza your would have YELL! #freeGazafromHamas 13k rocks where fire from Gaza in the last few years each cost 800$ that worth over a Billion $ , 60 tunnels dredged into Israel were found cost over 2m$ each that’s equal to 75% of Israel government fund for healthcare so please if you wish to see death support Hamas if you wish to see a new down for Gaza support the disarm of Hamas and the rise of Fatah.

Here is logic to those without it. Palestinians never existed.. the word Palestine came from the Romans during the Roman Empire who named Palestine after Philistine, which happened to be a Greek island. Philistine in Hebrew means invader. They invaded Canaan, which was given to the Jews. Simply put, there was no such thing as Palestine or Palestinians before Roman Empire. So, its SO ironic how Palestinians claim Israel invaded Palestine when facts prove otherwise. So when Palestinians proudly call themselves Palestinians, they are basically saying "We are invaders" and when people say "support Palestine" they are saying support invaders. Its funny since Palestinians are not allowed to become citizen in Egypt, Syria, Jordan or Lebanon. What God promised to Israel, no hate filled muslim will take. What more proof does one need? Israel smashed 6 Arab nations in 3 different wars.

In 1948 the Zionists established a sovereign Jewish state in the heart of Palestine - this led to the immediate expulsion of around 750,000 Palestinians, along with the destruction of their towns and villages. 75 years on and the Zionist state is further away from peace than ever, locked into an unending cycle of violence and counter-violence, and with virtually no significant support other than the USA, for whom Israel is a convenient client state. Under Netanyahu the government has drifted increasingly towards a militaristic theocracy [not unlike Iran] and the current horrors in Gaza show that the IDF are the new Nazis, murdering women and children on an industrial scale.. And to those who won't speak out, remember - "silence is compliance".

Under Ottoman rule, the inhabitants of Palestine were Ottoman subjects constituting a sector of the larger 'Ottoman people'. To acquire Palestinian nationality at its first inception, one was required to hold status as an Ottoman citizen under the Ottoman Nationality Law, 1869. When Palestine was legally separated from Turkey on July 24 1923, Ottoman citizens who resided in the territory of Palestine became ipso-facto'Palestinian citizens'. This being confirmed by the Palestinian Citizenship Order which was enacted by the British in 1925.Hence it is imperative to view Ottoman nationality as it formed the basis of Palestinian nationality in accordance with international law.

It seems most people here commenting have limited historical eyesight. You keep referring to it as the land of the Palestinians, when it was actually the land of the Jews - given and promised by God himself. However the Jews were taken from the land, evacuated the land, and so the area came under the control of the Ottoman Empire. The land name was then changed to Palestine. Why do some of you not acknowledge that it is also known by the name: the land of Israel? Way before the area was RENAMED by other rulers to Palestine (a version of the name Philistia) I don't say this to imply that Jews NOW have the right to reoccupy the land - that's up for debate. Jesus said their Temple (hence Jerusalem ) was abandoned to them for their lack of faith and disobedience to the true God. In other words, no more divine favor and protection from their enemies. A truth we see down to this day. Because of these facts, I stay neutral as to WHO really has a right to the land.
