You will find it difficult to find much mention of native Americans either. That's because other people of another community took their land and disposed the native Americans. The Palestinian people have exited for thousands of years, but until 1917 the whole of Palestine was ruled by the Ottoman Empire. That doesn't mean that they didn't exist, what existed was three communities, Jews, Muslims and Christians that lived in relative harmony until the chaos of the Holocaust. The Jews from Europe carried with them a lot of trauma and emotional baggage.

As a Native American, I can say we did not write history books so we would not have much mention. Palestine is a location but not a people. Multiple people got along until the area was divided with the discovery of gas. Then people came from all over the Middle East to work there. Issues arose when the region became more hostile with extreme beliefs from countries in the area who wanted the gas rich land. Before that Jews, Christians, Muslims, etc lived there and got along pretty well. Blessings to you.

FYI it is only in 1964 that Yaser Arafat started to call the Arabs living there Palestinians. They are Arabs who came from the Arabian Peninsula in the 7th century with the spread of islam. By that time Jerusalem had stood there for 1700 years. I suggest to watch again.

Just read the Old Testament and you will find out the complete history of the Jews and Arabs, they are the descendants of Abram, the Jews came were the descendants of Abraham from his wife Sarah their son was Isaac, the Arabs were the descendants of Abraham from his mistress Hagar the slave of Sarah their son was Ishmael. So, in other words, the muslims and the jews are half brothers with different mothers but they both came from Abraham, their father.

The ancient archaeology bears a proto Hebrew language and civilization. The Jewish temple predates the dome of the rock mosque and other Roman colonies. Hezekiah's tunnel dated 8th century B.C bears the inscription from the Jewish nation. The Jews have a place in Israel just as the Irish belong to Ireland, the Italians belong to Italy or the Germans belong in Germany. Some had suggested returning Jews to Mesopotamia, the birthplace of Abraham. The notion of Palestine being "occupied" is ridiculous as other countries such as Cyprus, Yugoslavia and Armenia can claim the same. Why should the Jews move? The people of Palestine can move to the Nevada desert and set up their own community and call it New Palestine. It's at least 10x's larger than their current home, and they can be truly free.

Ya know, this reminds me of a "T" shirt I saw recently. It's apparently in response to someone complaining about their lost land. The shirt shows an American indian responding to the complaintant by saying " Hows that working out for ya?"

Not true, variations of Palestine has been used as early as 5th century BCE. The ancient Assyrians called people of that region filistu/palashtu in 800 BCE. Another thing this host is deliberately trying to misconstrue an Arab leaders comments. Palestine was considered south Syria as the whole area that is modern Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel including the occupied territories were known as Syria province by the ottomans. Palestine 🇵🇸 would have been south Syria to the OTTOMANS.

It s a tricky thing arguing that those who were there first get the land in perpetuity, even if displaced for centuries. The reality is Israelis have the land by right of conquest. Just as the US has Texas, and not the Apache,Comanche or Kiowa peoples. Not everyone who thinks they are right ends up with the land they feel they they deserve. Go ask the Armenians. History is as much the study of cruelty. as it is of progress.

Never mind the history that mentioned that it's king David who built Jerusalem, that the West Bank was not occupies by the Palestinians but Jordanians. In 1967 Jordan in cahoots with Egypt and Syria jointly attacked Israel with the aim of driving Jews into the sea. They didn't succeed. Aftermath, Israel ended up with the West Bank, Jerusalem, Golan Height and Sinai belonging to Egypt. According to UN law on conquest the victors could keep the lands they captured from the wars if they were not the invaders in the first place, justified by the needs for self defense - in Israel's case, to increase the dept. of its border - from inner populated areas to border. Israel never gave back the West to Jordan. Period. However, Israel gave back Sinai to Egypt though Egypt never actually occupied or administered the territory until now due to infestation by the Muslim Brotherhood. The culprit in forcing Israel to relinquish control of Gaza was President George W. Bush. Otherwise Israel would still occupy Gaza and all these dreadful things that had happened wouldn't have happened! Checked. And hear this: Gold Meir Israeli prime minister in i969 had said there was no such thing as Palestinian people or land from where they were driven from by the Jews as alleged. The Palestinians never existed! Checked.

Somebody asked a very good question that answers it all. Well, 1.6bn people in the world celebrate the birth of a newborn Jewish baby on 25 Dec 2,000 years ago in a manger in Bethlehem and yet there are some who still didn't realise Jews have been living in that area fir thousands of years, long before the name Palestine was born.

Not true , the Romans called ancient Judah , Palestine. The Jews were deported in 70 ce The people who existed for 2000 years in that land are Arabs.

It is against the law in Israel for Israelis to take dna test. Their DNA test will prove they aren't from that area. They are Ashkenazi jews from Europe.

Palestinians are for all intent purposes….are Jordanians. The majority of Jordan’s population is so called “Palestinians “. Google the Palestinian Flag ( only invented in67’) and see with the exception of a small white star it is identical to the Jordanian flag.

Someone said it perfectly...Arabs pray towards Mecca and turn their backs towards Jerusalem. Jews pray towards Jerusalem and would never turn their backs towards it.
