This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZread channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,093 subs and > 900 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

Way to go. Roughly 1,000 subscriptions is a great start. I started listening to a guy who had about 20,000 about 6 years ago, and he's approaching 300,000 now. It just compounds. You're on the way. Way to take charge of your life. Incredible

You got me at "I run a little hot but I don't think that's me. I think that's a program I was running for years. " Mind blown...I'm like, whoa. My low seflestem, sadness, and fear were all a program I've been running since I was little. I never stopped to think. that's not me. I need to get serious about meditation and learn breath work.✌️❤🙏

I think he is just taking old sources and “reframing into scientific language”. I don’t see Dispenza adding much science or other knowledge. It’s old techniques with a modern-ish reframe. The meditation he teaches is very similar to one taught in Kundalini Yoga and Yoga Nidra.

  • @alexialucero8207

I agree. He is reframing stuff. And it's so cool. Cuz sometimes it takes a different frame, perspective for different folks to be able to really take it in and apply the information. I'm loving his message right now. The fact that it builds on stuff I've heard in other places and other teachers is part of the fantasticness of it. I really love that he applied science to the process and was able to "see" what was happening in the minds/bodies and such. I spend a lot of time listening to him. It's helping me to make some serious shifts in my Self. Loving it!!

It's not possible to think of nothing when you mediate. That's why breathing is a good thing to think of. When the mind wonders bring it back to the breath.👍

I loved this whole thing! I am an emotional person. I've learned to use it to my advantage. I decide each day how I want to feel and what can I do to bring me that feeling. I also tell myself in the morning life may get in the way, but I can still keep my feelings the whole day. Also if I feel sad, I tell myself I don't want to feel that and then think of a memory that made me happy, then my mind and body relives that happiness and I feel amazing.

Thanks Mr. Joe. I used to be a very messy person (in my head) not anymore. And the most important part is I was suffering from a bad spinal pain for almost 2 years, and I completely healed after 1-2 weeks meditation. I couldn’t believe what happened. My plan is to teach meditation to my 3 kids as well. I want to take them out of this crazy word and them to know life is a beautiful thing.

I felt heart cohearance, its like you get in touch with your true self, you nervous system is happy and not in survival, and you get a vision of yourself in your best form, then you can control your brain to do what the "coherence with the heart" wants you to achieve. Its like your your core tells you go to the gym and get healthy, then your brain tells you, hey you can lift heavier, and its like your nervous system listens to you so accurately, that your muscles get super hard, and the pump from the workout lasts 2 days instead of two hours, then you realise that you can tap into genes and you can change your genes with "heart coherence", heart coherence is basically (to me) your core telling you what to do and your limited mind (childhood trauma responses) takes a back seat, but then the brain works and listens to what the "heart" tells it, I interpreted the heart coherence as my nervous system telling me what to do... but all this is absolutely amazing, and I lost that heart coherence and have been frustrated since losing it and I decided to try meditation to remove the ego (childhood trauma brain) and get back in touch with my core (heart)...

I learned to meditate by giving up meditation, then something clicked. I was putting too many expectation, goals, time demands, etc on meditation. I started doing mindfulness exercises instead and then that naturally led to meditation, as well as giving up most social media and exercising in quiet (without music in my ears). The book 30 Days to Reduce Stress by Harper Daniels also helped I feel.

i learned a long time ago sitting in silence with your eyes closed can help you solve problems you would never solve otherwise. When you are processing visual data your mind is using up part of its problem solving ability. If you can sit with your eyes closed and focus on your problem you can find solutions. Of course i have the ability to visualize anything in great detail with my eyes closed. I know some people are not capable of this to any real effect.

The two people who have made the most impact in my life on the same show! Almost couldn't ask for more... except I want to ask Ed Mylett to start making pdf's that summarize the overall concept of each topic as well as the questions that Ed usually asks during the show. I listen on my way to work, and make my own summary on paper before anyone else gets to work. I believe it would add tremendous value to ALL your listeners if you had pdf's that a person could print and fill out and really do the introspection, not just hear it one time. I can see a folder of Ed Mylett pdf's that a person can look back at and say, this is where my transformation started!

Meditation is part of HOLISTIC healing. Mind/body/soul. It is Holy. ❤ WE are our own physician. We can partner with a healer for guidance at times when we need it. Ultimately WE have to be the driving force who uses our intuition and knowing of what we need. Meditation is powerful and essential for homeostasis. Western Medicine has only been around for a short time compared to Aruveydic medicine which has been around for thousands of years.

I've been listening to the voice telling me that I missed out on so much and then I begin to blame others for my pain which led to the bad choices in my life. In the last year, from starting all this from meditation (which i havent done very much), ive had two experiences. First, i was able to feel the whole energy of my room during a meditation. I was able to feel my tv that was 8ft away. The other day, during a short meditation, i came to looking down at a water surface, and every breath i took, very carefully made a drop into the water as to not disturb the surface too much. I was ecstatic after the first experience, and very calm after the second experience. Both experiences were 10 months apart. But the past few months, I've been hallucinating a white cat jumping off my bed and hiding under it.
