When you try to quit your job, but your boss won’t let you 😳
We made a video about this before, and so many of you had crazy stories about what your boss said when you tried to quit a past job - ranging from telling you a parent needing you isn’t a good enough reason, to calling your new job (behind your back!) to negotiate a later start date, and telling you straight up that they still expect you to come in to complete additional work.

I remembered working at FedEx for only 3 nights straight and after those 3 nights, I decided on quitting and it was kind of a good and a bad thing and the good thing being that I was working in these harsh conditions, especially when loading up the boxes too quickly and the bad thing was that I kind of made FedEx look bad and I should’ve given them a 2 week notice but instead, I gave the FedEx company a bad reputation and I also made my job search company look bad because I decided to quit FedEx after 3 days and I honestly do feel bad but it is my fault because I chose the wrong hours and the wrong place to work at
Jobs be a acting like you can’t get another one 😒
Does this situation actually happen? I can’t imagine anyone, especially my boss, telling me they’re requesting I work longer then my notice.

Absolutely has happened to me. Boss told me I could leave after we finished a project so I left that day.
