    6:34 So CPP started as a national Ponzi scheme, then had to turn into a hedge fund that the majority of the people are forced into that only pays < ~ $10,000 a year? Does the 10% annualized growth also mean that the contributed amounts also grow 10% a year?

    I used to think that getting rich was some combination of black magic and pure luck but now I know its actually a science that can be learned like physics and chemistry. Great Job on the simple and understandable channel to teach this important skill!

    You guys look great ❤ My Mom will always bargain with the clothing shop to see if they’ll give a good discount since most items are marked up. I will typically order online from India where it’s most cost effective and the measurements aren’t too far off. I can then pay a small fee to a tailor (someone who knows how to work on Indian clothes) to take anything in.

    Can I get a non-registered GIC on a cash savings account? Basically my emergency fund. My teller told me I would need to open another tfsa or rrsp and put my emergency savings in there to be able to get a gic

    My husbands barber only charges 30$ including a 5$ tip. It’s a pretty modern barber shop so I expected a lot more but they do a really good job and he’s been going back for two years. 65 is crazy! (This is in Ottawa for reference)

    I'm new to your channel and loving it! I was going to open a HSA with Simplii Financial because of their promotion but they require me to email them copies of my passport AND Drivers license AND a selfie.....then I got scared. Is this normal with digital banks? It's my first time learning about digital options and moving away from the BIG banks to these platforms and I'm genuinely scared. Do you have thoughts to help?

    I had no idea that you could open bank accounts with different banks, I thought I had to stick with TD for everything because that is what I opened my checking account with 😅 I have been learning so much from you guys over the past few weeks since I discovered you. My husband and I are young and don’t come from financially stable backgrounds so it’s very confusing sometimes!

    As a local from Como area (erba, Lecco and Bellagio) i can tell you that the prices have become even more expensive then the past and they are definitely eating your cake (taking profit/advantage over you). Even if I'm aware of the beauty of the area, this doesn't mean they should be allowed to get so fat. There are people in the area of Bellagio renting apartments/homes for around 700€/$ or even more, per night. You ended up in the mid way, but the prices should be around 50/60 per night. That's a common b&b price, at least it was few time ago, outside Bellagio and strictly lake areas. They basically make you pay the view. It is something they shouldn't be doing, since the view it's there and it's not theirs. Hosting should be for free/exchange, but definitely not so expensive. Same goes for the rest of the world of course.

    Corporate America is full of greedy selfish pieces of shit. The days of Companies treating you like a human is long over. No more pensions, no more holiday bonusses, no more 30 years and a gold watch. Just a bunch of 2 faced back stabbing thieves. Teach your kids a trade or teach them how to work for themselves. Don't send them to college enslaving them to banks and corporate America so they can work jobs they hate so they can buy shit they don't need to impress people who don't care about them.

    Other than the cost of a wedding gift, I’ve never had to pay anything to be able to attend a wedding! 😮 I did go to my cousins wedding which was out of state and this required a flight and a hotel, but I was young and was still living with my parents so didn’t think of things like cost 😅

    so 0% intrest buy now pay later is good for people who can afford it right? your going off by how bad it is but is only bad if u default on your payments but is good if u pay everything on time ?

  • @stephandden
    @stephandden2 күн бұрын

    We mention in the video that yes, in theory - if you're able to pay off your balance on time - then it's not 'a problem'. BUT, the BNPL system is designed so that you will miss payments (that's how they make money off of you)

    renting the clothes could've cut the cost by alot. since there's a good chance you won't be using them much you can rent it and then return them back after use. much easier and cheaper. I totally get how expensive these outfits can get so renting them is like a life saver! you can do it the next time. you both look really gorgeous btw <3
