This is so spot on 💯 I once heard that statement last year. I already saw it coming. Instead of the usual chasing, begging and sending paragraphs, I said nothing. I chose to move on and worked on myself. Things started to improve for me. Later on I met someone new whom I'm still with right now. When my ex found out that I met someone else, that hit a nerve. I remember my ex asking me would she be wrong if she wanted to see other people because she's been thinking about it. I said no not at all. I've been no contact for 9 months and I haven't felt this good in a long time. Don't get me wrong the first 6 months were rough. Then today she tells me she wants a break from our relationship and it caught me off guard , she wants time alone. I didn't take it well.
