Do you think antidepressants play a role in pulling back? We had a non toxic relationship, her first. Had disagreements but always talked it out and felt closer afterwards. A few months after she started taking antidepressants for her depression due to a death in her family, that’s when I noticed the changes started.

I honestly don’t know what I did. She told me that the passing of her grandma, (who she was extremely close to) really threw her into a dark place she felt like she was drowning in sorrow. She has a-lot of emotional trauma, death of a child and physical abuse as a teen and during her first marriage. She always pushed her feelings down to stay strong for her family and every time i asked how are you she’d just say “I’m fine. She started taking antidepressants earlier this year and her libido dropped off and she started to become distant. I was very attentive asked how i could best support her. No more “hey babes” just hey or hi on the phone. She said she felt bad that she knew she wasn’t able to give me the attention i needed in the relationship and I didn’t deserve that. Long story long she said she thought she should heal on her own. I trust what she said but it still hurts non the less.

@@loveandlogic681 Only if you truly refocus. You don't have to get what you want -- 'the girl'. But you have to get what you need -- peace of mind and love. You must be ready to lose the girl, otherwise you are not truly refocusing. Stop wanting what/who doesn't want you or continue to wallow in hurts. There's a possibility of a comeback though, but leave that to her alone. If she doesn't reach out/ comeback, it's because she doesn't deserve you, and you're not meant to be together.

I’ve been trying to fix a date with this lady for a while now, after fixing the date on the day we’re meant to meet she suddenly reschedules. I feel like she doesn’t value my time, I also gave her an option to pick a date of her choice. Am I doing too much or I should just let her go.
