Self confidence is a thing and having talent is another. And people should be really aware of the high level of the contest. And people around them too. You can sing ok, but it doesn't mean you are good enough to become a pop star, or a recording artist. It's a big big world. And when experts, experimented and professionnal people in the business tell you "you are not good enough" or "you need to work more" and so on, you just have to accept it, and people around you too.

Also these "talent" shows are looking for certain kinds of people. Many of the singers that get through to the finals and even win, aren't that special. If you really want to make it big, do it the hard way - take lessons, perform with other musicians and get a tonne of gigs under your belt. That way you will learn a great deal and if you do make it you'll be able to have more control over your musical output.

Parents be real to your child. If you do not get them vocal lessons. And you tell them, you sound awesome. You're the best. You're lying. If they like to sing. And they want to. It's very important to get them voice lessons. That they work on their voice. If anyone feels bad for these individuals. Sorry that's life. There are people that work really hard to be good at something. Yes there are some that are wonderful natural born singers. And please for the life of you. Learn how to interact with people. Confidence is key. But parents you are doing these children disservices and even that adult. She must be special to think that she sounded good. I almost wonder if they pay these people. Emma's case was a sad one. The fact that her mother straight-up admits early on that they'd "pushed her" only to later deny it during the confrontation is the most telling part. On top of that, I had a hard time finding the key Emma wanted to go for at the beginning. It's always a shame to see kids essentially being forced into something because someone else wants them to.
My mouth is on the floor watching some of these people it’s really scary that people can be so obliviously delusional.
I love how Simon sneaks the middle finger in randomly
Apparently kylie is still singing 😂

excuse me, K-star. K is for the kwylie and K cuz ima star.
i love it when these people, after all the fuss their parents make with them, declare that theyre going to be "bigger" than the judges or will be earning millions more than they would if they had taken the X factor route... only for their names to never be heard of again.
Somebody please tell me they pay these people to come on here just for entertainment! I can’t stop crying 😂😂😂😂😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 I needed a good laugh

I doubt these people get paid to appear
Thank goodness for the internet that we have these gems of videos so that we can laugh and entertain ourselves at the cost of these deluded people.

Yeah seriously, it's effin hilarious and I actually feel great laughing at these people. Doesn't feel wrong at all. It feels so so right due to the fact that it's they're own fault for not checking the reality with themselves and what real singing sounds like!
I think if Kelly went with a song more in her range, she would’ve killed it!
