RIP Ariel, I think her struggle was unknown to the panel but watching her speak with others and seeing how cool she was, she was well liked and very personable to those who knew her. She struggled mentally, but had an amazing voice. It’s so sad her demons caught up with her, may she rest peacefully

Sometimes their voices are actually pretty decent but their ego gets in the way. One's personality is just as important as their voice.

Zoe's audition breaks my heart every time. After hearing her story, watching this back, it's so obvious she was set up. Most of her explaining herself was ripped to pieces on the cutting room floor. You can tell right where they cut her off to make her seem unhinged. The producers told her to sing a P!nk song. Not to mention setting her up in other ways. You can see the heartbreaking realization, the pain in Zoe's eyes as she puts the pieces together. When she looks to her parents in the wings, they look appalled, because it's dawning on them that their daughter was set up to be a "bad audition" & a joke in front of the whole nation. I can't imagine the hurt & humiliation they all felt, no one more than Zoe. My heart goes out to her♥️

So what difference does it make if production told her to sing Pink, when she was also allowed to perform another song of her choice? If she were only allowed to do the Pink song, you'd have a point, but she didn't, so you don't.

She threw a tantrum for the obvious reasons but they made her look like a mad woman by editing and lying to the audience and viewers. The crazy thing is the contestants are right in a way, the show does manipulate their moods, and behaviors so they might act or sing differently, so their reactions are justified. The producers or people running the show do tell them what to sing, or make them tell them what they want to sing and highly manipulate that choice.

even when people arent good at singing there is something very precious about people singing together. voices sharing a melody. it's a beautiful moment in time.

So for Zoe. From what ive gathered, the producers told her to sint a Pink song, even though she didnt choose one. The judges werent infirmed about that, and thats why they were confused when Zoe brought up that she was told to sing a Pink song.

Zoe Alexander was set up in the worst of ways. First, the producers really wanted to make her seem unhinged to get views. So, they would purposly upset her right before the interview so she'd be crying. The producers also told her to sing a Pink song, despite her not wanting to. To top it off, they played the songs off pitch and turned off the monitors (how the singer heard themselves). Overall, they really wanted her to fail.

I highly suggest actually researching the situation rather than watching a 2 minute, heavily edited clip that does nothing to explain anything and thinking you know the entire situation. There are entire articles, videos, etc. She was set up to fullfill the shows need for drama in order to attract views. It's almost like that's what most TV shows try to attempt- this one just got called out for how they treat their contestants.

Just a few thing about the P!nk girl: The judges were actually being nice and telling the truth. She's just weak and couldn't take some critcism. Then she starts lying about what they told her to sing. Then she has the audacity to throw the mic. Then she starts crying like a baby and gets her dad. And the finally, she starts breaking down the building. Oh and then she attacked the camera man. (But camera man always survives, so we don't have to worry about that)

Rest In Peace Ariel, she was a genuinely amazing singer and a very good person. She wasn’t normally like this, and deserved so much better. You are missed. ❤
