    @@deekyevans5235 That is because he is there to lose to the 'talent'. If the 'talent' doesn't step up, he can try and beat him or he can try and build him up and get him to work harder. He did the latter and sold himself much like a heel. He told other promoters that their fighters would get much audience support if they go against him. It was clever.

    apart from the first one, I would consider none of these to be 'cocky' fighters. What else are they going to do and say at a weigh-in and press conference? "Well, I think my opponent is better than me and I hope not to lose too badly." ?

    With Pulev, I think he was trying to psyche himself up for the fight or it was in good fun or both. He wasn't trying to fight him outside the ring and even said he liked Joshua.
