Everybody, including the ref, his own team and the ring doctor, thought that Briggs needed that whooping. I can't figure why else they wouldn't have stopped it after the 8th or 9th. Mans got beat like a bongo drum for 12 rounds 💀

What ever the result in the fight Klitschko needed loud opponents to sell his fights. A majority of viewers were more interested in watching a loudmouth get karma than just watching Klitschko who wasn't very exciting anywhere.

He does that every fight. It's just an act to hype the fight. Hype=interest, interest=pay per view dollars. In real life he's always been cool with the Klitchkos.

It's amazing to me how many people fail to realize Briggs and Klitschkos were friendly with each other and trained together. The WHOLE thing was to sell ppvs for a fight people weren't excited about.

I think Klitschko did not want to knock Briggs down at all...for all the name calling and bragging, he purposefully let him stand up for the whole 12 rounds and pounded on him at will...A single knockout punch could not have induced the damage Briggs suffered LOL

Kind of like when GSP hit Josh Koschek with jabs to his right eye for an entire fight. He wasn't going for the KO, he just wanted to make Josh suffer and succeeded brilliantly.

I remember watching the Briggs fight and was hoping he would get knocked out. I guess I wasn't a fan of his brigg mouth 😂

For me it was the Briggs vs Klitcho.. Briggs has always suffered some sought of adult learning difficulty and behaved in a disgusting manner but he could back up his boasting he was a very tuff man. Secondly Klitcho conducted himself perfectly and the better of the 2 brothers in my book

They didn't show it in these clips, but at one point Pascal tries to do this bizarre attack in one of the later rounds where I throws both arms in the air diving at Bivol. It was surreal. Total desperation.

And for the record just cause you keep repeating something over and over again in the same exact toe of voice louder than everyone else in the room doesn’t make you right and it doesn’t make it something that needs to be answered or dealt with or addressed. you’re like a baby crying in the corner you leave it alone to eventually stop or cry itself out. In all my years watching boxing, it was painfully obvious how afraid Briggs was of Klitchko. All that talk was for his own mind to quell or attempt to quell his own fear and insecurities. 😅

Vitally and Vladimir were always humble and quiet but definitely wasn't someone you didn't want to go after ,they both have PhD and are extremely smart and successful both in the right and out

Briggs and V. K. should have been a good fight, but he had to make it personal and brought out the beast. It sucks that he took so much damage but he let his pride take over.

The big takeaway I'm getting from a lot of these videos is that these dudes are always super pumped about beating the shit out of each other, and yet it's part of the sport's PR circuit to have them stare each other down at kissing distance with the expectation that they won't handle the photoshoot like cranky 5 year olds.

Briggs was all talk this fight, he started several interactions and waited to be held back. If he was as hard as he played, the drink over the head was enough. But the table and then falling to his handler to prevent the fight. What a fake.
