It's the nature of shooting teams. If everyone is hot they might score 140. If one guy is off, maybe 120. 2 guys, 100. 3 guys, 80... Like the Boston game.

Would love to see a video about why teams turn it on against Warriors, even over a season since they last won a chip. The amount of times in losses the opponents suddenly shoot a collective 50%+ from 3 is insane. Earlier in the season I'd chalk it to them just not gelling on defense, but recently they've been top 5 in the current stretch and we still see in those back to back losses how insane the other teams shot, even players that normally barely shoot 3s were suddenly hitting contested shots.

@@gwlm2679 I'm not trying to pretend they are the victims, but just find it interesting that so many times this season teams have shot so far above their capabilities against the Warriors. Even unguarded, bad shooters can usually only make so many shots, but against the Warriors suddenly they can't miss.

Its all about matchups. Some really good team will matchup bad against really bad teams. That's honestly one of my favorite things about basketball. Typically the playoffs will resolve this, it's really tough for a lesser team to beat a good team in a series. That's also what makes March Madness sooooo insane since it's one and done.

Well, while these slumps are the execesion on the other teams you pointed, for the GSW it is the tone of the season, good games are the excesion. Denver May have had 3 or 4 "not tonight" while GSW at least 20... def not the same.

It's anyone's game in this era of 3pt shooting and lack of defense. In short, every game is a shoot out. Who ever can provide a small level of defense while racking up a good 3pt pct is likely to win.

Beating a good team doesn't suddenly mean you are great again. Even the worst teams sometimes still beat some of the best teams. The warriors are not the only team that beat the Bucks good. Thats how the regular season goes.

Kuminga is a beast on offense but he needs to improve defensively.

As a 10+ year warriors fan. It’s evident Steph can’t do it alone. He needs at least two more players to help. Also we need a big. Looney is cool but looney is starting to get comfortable.

A healthy Nuggets team would wax this Warriors squad in a playoff series no question. They aren't particularly deep but the Nuggets have the best 5 man team in the league in their starters. I'll be shocked if we don't get a Denver v Boston finals series. This Warriors team will be lucky to make it through the play-in and have a somewhat competitive first round exit. The goal should be to get JK, Moody, Podz and Trayce as much playoff experience as possible anything else is a bonus. So long as Kerr and the system remain in place there is a real limit to how good this old and slow team can be. Suspect defence and almost no shot creation outside of Steph. It's a bad sign that they have over relied on Podz as rookie. He's been a nice surprise but is still just a rookie who has a lot to learn.

We can't continue playing this small ball basketball, we need size in our line up some and badly at that, yea I get we are one if the biggest franchises in the league but we need SIZE to keep the dominance going into match ups. We have a great lineup yes but some slight size adjustment can't hurt. Or we give that boy TJD more time if Kerr doesn't want to start him in the starting 5 because we got green at center. Podz and TJD are actually proving themselves. We can't always lean on curry, we can hold out own weight with put him size and dominance is all we need

...what will happen in april. lol they will get bounced in the play-in. i love the golden state warriors but they are so shaky. their highest ceiling is round 2 exit if they are extremely lucky. they will get wrecked by denver. I don't think they are favored against the wolves or the thunder either. you are really underrating the thunder if you think that would be a good match-up for them.

At the rate they are going, they won't even make the play in. They've been slightly hot garbage for 2 years, with flashes of historic brilliance here and there, but no consistency anywhere. And if your team tanks when your superstar tweaks an ankle then you're not championship material.

The Warriors lost those games because their defense against the 3-pointer was atrocious. The Bulls won because they shot 44.4% from 3 against the Warriors. They are a 35% 3-pt shooting team. Then the Spurs shot 51.5% from 3 against them and won easily. The Spurs are also a 35% 3-pt shooting team. The Spurs game that the Warriors won, they held the Spurs to 37.8% from 3 (which is still higher than the Spurs' season average). The Celtics shot 51% from 3 against them and won by 52. The Celtics are a 38% 3-pt shooting team. Any single one of these games in isolation could be considered an aberration, a lucky day for the opponent. But, bunched together one after another, it looks more like a systematic issue with how the Warriors defend against the 3.

You can tell by curry's twist, it wasn't that bad.

Klay is 1/5th of the player he was and takes up a lot of minutes. Wiggins is completely inconsistent, and a shell of his 2022 self. Kuminga is starting to show much more promise but at this point is a finisher and slasher who’s jumper can’t be relied upon. Their team defense sucks, so no lead they have is safe. Their overall shooting besides Steph sucks so they can go cold for 2 quarters at a time. They’re just a much more watered down and older version of what they were, and of course the rest of the league is armed with shooters so they’re no longer unique. If Steph somehow wins a ring with this squad, he immediately jumps to the #2 player in league history behind MJ.

1. Warriors need coaching & support when they start to bleed 5-7-9 pts. They need coaching to stop the empowerment of the opposition team. 2. The 2nd Spurs game, Kerr finally calling Timeouts to refocus the young players, CP3 coaching & directing. The Warriors needed this game so the Team had new ways instead of "Just Get the Ball to Curry." Hopefully they will learn new plays and resources to shoot and make it into the post season. Shhheh!
