Couple corrections/additions from a big Hoosiers fan: Something that happens sometimes in the second round and happened with trayce, is when you get past pick like 35, the 2nd round pick contracts are usually non guaranteed, and the Warriors called Trayce and told him they'd trade into the draft to take him and give him a guaranteed deal. So when you get that promise from a team, you have your agent spread the word for others teams not to draft you. The pacers in their post draft presser alluded to the fact that they probably would've taken trayce in the 40s had they not been told not to. Indiana's best insider journalist was at trayce's draft party and was relaying all of this to us fans in real time, and it played out exactly the way we were told it was about to. Trayce likely goes around 40 overall otherwise. Also, trayce is really good, but golden state couldn't be a more perfect situation for him, their whole roster can shoot which takes that pressure off of him, they value basketball iq and passing extremely highly, and they have a massive need for a vertical threat and rim protector. We were all ecstatic when we found out gsw was his landing spot, we would not be talking about trayce as a massive steal this way if he hadn't gone to golden state, he'd be misused and underappreciated on 90% of teams. And then a small thing, trayce is a pure 5, he's pretty much never played the 4 anywhere in his career.

As mediocre and inconsistent as we've been for most of this season it's been truly heartening to see TJD and Podz thrive so quickly in addition to JK taking the massive leap we've been hoping for. and becoming a starter. With Moody still working hard and IMO proving that he deserves more minutes every time he plays and Quinones also impressing despite limited opportunities the future is very bright for Golden State. Go Dubs!

Sure as hell missed him, Race Thompson and Schifino at IU this year. This was an embarrassing season. The fact Jalen Hood- Shifino was drafted before TJD, even though IU would have had zero success without him tells me these execs have a "type" and if you're not a 3 point shooter they will ignore you. I can't imagine the amount of potential superstar bigs that have been passed up because of the analytics cult that all the GM's seem to be in. Steve Kerr knew from draft night he had stolen the draft. That's even funnier because all the other GM's are trying to copy GS's and Houstons former success with 3 point shooters.

Kerr does put some iffy lineups at some iffy times in the game, the players got to be feeling something on the bench. even curry gets benched at some weird times.

Indiana guy here. Yes, I hope we do regret it. Sheppard is fantastic and Walker is looking good, too, but I can't believe the Pacers snubbed TJD like that. His dad was part of THE most iconic Pacers (NBA) lineup. It's great to see him out there making himself known. Take care of our boy.

Yeah that was rough to diss him like that, especially when they chose picks like Mojave King, Isaiah Wong, and jarace Walker instead. Looks like the bay Area fans already adore him. And looks like he's gonna bring it everytime playing against pacers now😂

@@lucky889s9 Walker hasn't gotten a lot of minutes, but he's been looking good. And he was great in the G League, for whatever that's worth. But, uh... yeah... Some of those other picks are a little weird. Especially with how hard the Pacers were looking for a 4 with strong defense.

I'm so glad Steve Kerr gave him a chance, especially in the starting lineup. Once TJD & B-Podz became starters with Draymond & Wiggins, their defense skyrocketed. And when Warriors defense is great, they can be unstoppable like they were for many years. And they can all score points. Add Curry to that offense and they can be unstoppable. Make it happen Warriors! Beat the Kings. I kinda want them to play/beat the Lakers after beating the Kings. lol

That's the point, didn't you see? Warriors are fine with bron shooting, but limiting his drive to basket is more important because getting his team mates involved. Gave Bron his 40, but other than DLo, nobody scored more than 20. Rui and reaves got locked down for 14 and 11 points. The rest of Lakers is single digit

@@lucky889s9 Warriors is a flawed team. Too many injuries and undersized players. i think Kerr is maximizing and squeezing every last ounce out of an average team. Finally had to trust the rookies due to injuries and Draymond being a knucklehead. An average coach couldn't get on a roll like the warriors are on for the past 8 weeks. Im not sure if Mike Brown would have done better. A healthier and younger Sac team isn't impressive at the moment. With that roster, they should be ahead of the pelicans whose star can't stop eating.
