@@anbonner17 They are funny. What is really funny is I just received a text a hour ago saying the students grades will be taken from a computer program. My thing is you just told the parents school is over. They have every excuse why they camt complete the assignments. Now you (school system) going to tell them they have work to do. Please !! Most are still not going to do it. 🙂🙂 I'm not mad at all and I know this is something we've never dealt with but come on now.

I've email the same document 10 times. I emailed passwords 10 times. I even sent a video and images of what to do. Then had the nerve to say that I sent the wrong information and my child can't log in. Well ma'am I just logged in as your child using that same info.😣

@@ms.bubs4fun506 I couldn't make a tiktok, but I can do tech support. There were issues with apps and raging at parents doesn't help much. It just caused more divide. I have done more screen shots of snark responses from teachers and images of faulty apps to make a series on how not to handle communications/technology during an emergency response. Here's the thing, some kids have processing issues and so will the adults. Treating them like they don't have an issue is blindness on the "teacher's part". I have had 20 years of special ed training and education and I don't think I have ever had so many people in the community needing a voice against the bullying I have seen coming from schools trying to "defend their inability" to respond during a crisis.

You just brightened my day! Here I was upset because I just found out about school being closed for the rest of this year, stuck inside my house for 4 weeks and you actually made me chuckle! I'm sure you can do a whole show on the 2020 school year!

They need to just pass everyone and stop messing with these kids, teachers, and parents. Just let these ppl enjoy their families. How often does something like this happen? Not often at all. Why ppl (government) just wont sit down somewhere geesh!!!!! They need to take this time to figure out how they are going to pay teachers more and actually use some curriculum that will prepare our children for the REAL future. This stuff they are using now is garbage and school is definitely not design for African American boys. They are bored out of their minds. My county barely even has black teachers, SMH!!!!

I use Remind and sent a document with ALL usernames and passwords. And my office hours as well as my colleagues office hours. (They have me for 2 subjects and him for 2) Told them to print it out and post it on the fridge. Or copy it by hand and post it. I don't want to hear any excuses! And every time a kid asks what to do, I ask if they watched the video. Some lie and say yes. Some are honest. Well we will watch it together and then see if questions still exist. I'm not repeating myself.

I needed a good laugh today because I have been trying to contact parents all morning to ask why???? 😨

Tired of explaining the same thing that I just explained about 30 times!!! x 25 students!!!!! One time, I spent about 30 minutes explaining to a parent how to sign in to this Math program. The first thing he said when he saw the first question was "what's odd number?" 😭😫😭😫 this was after spending two days calling every parent one by one to help them sign up on Teams because they couldn't care less about the step by step instructions that I texted them.. couldn't help screaming and crying out of frustration after the call..

Well, as far as no access to internet at home. I can understand that cause I was in that situation till about 6 months ago. Alot of people think, internet access is easy to get. My house wasn't internet accessible till late 2021. And that was just wifi. My phone (which is Verizon network) didn't have strong network access till late 2019 early 2020. So when I tried to explain this to my boss (working security) and he would get mad cause he couldn't get a hold of me at the house via phone, text or email. He would think I'm lieing. I wouldn't get a signal till I drive to the nearest gas station or library. Which is over 6+ miles away. Everyone don't live the accessible lifestyle like most people.

I support Teachers 100% but there are individual Teachers that carries a wrongful attitude. Example: In High Schools where we live they have a Program where students can learn about jobs in various fields of employment. My granddaughter chose the field of Fashion which she loves but was told by her Teacher that she should choose something that’s more for her because it’s not Fashion. This made my Granddaughter angry but she did not lash out. She told me and her mother which made us angry too. Because that Teacher was supposed to encourage not discourage. So my Daughter and I told my granddaughter to prove her wrong, make that Teacher eat those words completing her assignment of Fashion in The 1930’s. Show her Teacher how Fashion recycles itself I think every 10 or 20 years, maybe more.
