They were sweating bullets when we were all quarantined a few years ago, let me tell ya. Parents FINALLY were forced to see exactly how out of control/academically delayed/developmentally delayed/behaviorally challenged their kids were and they had no choice but to accept that what we had been telling them all along about their kids was 100% true. They couldn't wait to send them back to free daycare --- I mean school. Yes...school, how silly of me... Teachers need to plan ahead and he financially prepared to walk out and STAY OUT for however long it takes to have our voices heard and to effect the changes that are so desperately needed in education.

All teachers need to do this nationwide. They need to regain respect and control back. Elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools are NOT daycare centers. Who cares if parents are upset? They can stay upset. They need to rear their children correctly. If parents do not see cars in the parking lot, why would they still leave their children behind? Parents need to be held accountable as well. More children are going missing in the supervision if these parents. There needs to be an uproar about that.

I heard about this 😧. It was over a student who brought a BB gun to school and was expelled. But the boy was allowed to come back to school after the mom cussed out the principal about the incident. A gun shot a gun he should be expelled and along w/ endangering others.

The cops should have been called on the mom and she should have been arrested. Her child was no longer a part of the school and no conversation needed to be had. YESSSSSSS!!!! THIS!!!! We need so much more of THIS in order to make some FAAAAR LONG OVERDUE CHANGES TO THE ENTIRE EDUCATION SYSTEM!!! I love this. You fellow teachers out there know good and well that the parent brought that kid back to school that day bc school is her reliable FREE DAYCARE. She wasn't about to have her life inconvenienced by having to sit home with her own kid and you know, PARENT THEM. I'll bet you all I have that she was told on the day of the gun incident that her child was suspended and NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN TO SCHOOL but she brought them up there anyway and thought she could get her way bc most admin and districts are terrified of parents' threats of retaliation, law suits, etc. This principal is my new hero lol. The fact that the entire faculty backed up the principal speaks volumes. If this was a school in my town and if I finally lost all hope of ever finding a good paying, rewarding career, I'd very seriously consider going back to teaching but ONLY at that principal's school!!!!
