I don't know if that's true. When there were Covid lockdowns, there were MAGA crowds with weapons, including on the governor's property. Nobody was arrested. In my small town, there was also a huge demonstration over the right to enter a specific bar. Even some of the school teachers demonstrated. Again, not a thing happened.

UCLA is manufacturing these protesters at record level. it is what they do and what they create.

It’s nice to be young and feel like you’re making a difference in the world…..then you grow up, gain some experience and realize none of this is changing anything, nor does it have a remote chance of changing anything.

It's Despicable that we are allowing this. all of those schools should loose all federal funding for allowing this to continue.

Back when I was college age me and my friends would've just went through them. Bullys don't handle it well when you use force against them

All students are blocked. There are multiple routes to get to classes at north campus. I’m not sure why theyre claiming theyre being blocked specifically for being Jewish.

Most of the protests are to get universities to stop investing in israeli companies. Obviously any one university’s investment isn’t a huge monetary impact on its own. It might be comparable to several bake-sale’s worth of profits, but they are trying to start a larger movement like what happened in the 60’s when basically every institution in the West pulled their money out of South Africa. It put a lot of pressure on the country to change its behavior. Also, a bake sale or other charity event requires donors. It will cost Americans money, which well then be thrown at a problem abroad. Moving investments out of israel doesn’t cost Americans anything (because there are plenty of other profitable investments to make in the world), and it combats the issue more directly by taking money away from the country which is using it to bomb civilian, hospitals, etc
