Wow, this is sad Af!! Maybe people should educate themselves on the school board, and lower levels ( not meant in a bad way) but people just go out and vote for their President, ( clearly a HUGE misstep in 2020, as though that was a real thing), the big election and don’t realize the little elections are YOUR community. If YOUR COMMUNITY is not good, maybe, JUST MAYBE, YOU need to be the change YOU want to see!! If you believe in ANYTHING.. educate yourselves on the people that represent YOU!!! The little elections are so much more important than anyone realizes!!! Just watched a video the other night of some state I don’t even share the same time zone with voting on laws. HOLY SHIT, it was like an auction. Get with it people.....FOR REAL REAL!!! Scary dung!!!

The design is entirely flawed anyway. Because those drop ceilings in every school make those "safe rooms" literal traps, those kids will be like fish in a barrel.

Just the creation of a bullet proof room for the classroom is sad. Our world is and has been in terrible shape.

My school had 2 weapons on campus in one month. Both came from students who were on the INSIDE. One student will be allowed to return. It's almost funny that now security cameras are being installed in foyer of the front office. As we teachers know, people have no clue what really goes on in schools.

Yep. We had them this year and didn’t even get a lockdown or notification until hours later. No protocol. It’s a joke, but the pun is all of our lives.

It's a sad day when these become a necessity in our classrooms.

But they are NOT a necessity. Lawmakers refuse to do what is necessary to protect children and teachers in schools. EddieBComedy told us what's necessary: keep those firearms off school campuses in the first place!

We allowed a bunch of crazy people to have large weapons without any questions asked. The guns these maniacs use are far more powerful than what the safety officer in the school carries.

Exactly. Once the shooter(s) get in, people will already be dead before others could even get into the shelters. But I guess coming up with some ideas is better than nothing.

Yes sadly we need more security at school, but the real cure is fixing the mental health issues causing crazy people to think it's OK to shoot people. We need to help that kid sulking under his Hoodie in class, the ones getting bullied and confused, and the ones causing all the disruptions in class.
