Motor sounds really smooth..

I had the older corsair 172, the pull start broke about every other flight. It cost a lot of money to replace so for now the paramotor sits in the garage. I hope the new ones work better.

Bout to make a purchase in about 3 months. What’s your take on the Moster 185 verses the Corsair 172? Smoothness? Durability? Service intervals? Thanks for your time. Great vid!

I have not flown the 185 but I can say that the 172 has tons of power, runs incredibly smooth, and burns less fuel than the 185. Put that on the V3 kestrel frame, and put it side-by-side with any other frame with the moster 185. The BlackHawk with Corsair 172 looks better, has a stronger cage, by far, and comes in at a lower price.

Thoughts on this over the 125?

It's been solid. I have one for my trike and one for foot launch. Both are smooth and powerful.

@@MarcAmenson thanks for the comment mate. i am getting mixed answers over the board. from people being extreme toxic against this engine to others saying its fine. i will receive a modified version of it these days and hope it will give me less trouble than my former one. happy to read your answer today.

Any information on the new frame under that motor?

Chad R this is a prototype, 5lbs less then the V3. We’ll have a production version out soon. I’ll include more info on this frame in the next flick.
