For some women, stopping normal dairy products can relieve period symptoms. But why?

    This is fascinating! I gave up some dairy back in November, and although my PMDD was still bad, my period, which is usually long, painful, and heavy, became light, shorter, and pain-free! I gave up all dairy in January and my PMDD is much better, and my periods have continued to be painless and much lighter. It's been life changing. I had dairy on holiday and the cycle immediately after that was awful again. I'm back to dairy free, but I'm interested in seeing if sheep and goats dairy has the same effect. It's great to know why all this works. Thank you for posting! X

    Can’t wait for your next book release! Love the podcasts Have sent this to my 16hear old daughter to listen too as her periods are long heavy and painful and she has frequent bouts of idiopathic urticaria….. so I was thinking high histamines….hopeful 3 months off dairy will lighten the flow

    Thank you for this! I took out dairy and was not patient enough, having the goal to do 3 months helps! My periods have been debilitating every month for years, when I started eating more whole foods after becoming a nutritionist it helped lessen the symptoms and even more so after reading your book and adding the supplements in and tracking it better. Hoping this helps over the next 3 months because I get really bad brain fog, mood swings, pain and headaches at ovulation and my period. ❤

    I’m curious if when avoiding aged cheese for histamine issues, you also recommend also avoiding A2 aged cheeses as well? I’ve had your 1st book for a few years and I am so happy to have found your KZread today! 💕

    This seems like this could be my issue because I respond well to antihistamines but it will be so hard to give up dairy because that’s all I crave leading up to my period. Ice cream, Mac and cheese, Parmesan and other cheesy pasta dishes, cheesecake, anything creamy..just dairy in general. I really want to give this a go though! 😅
