What My Family Wanted To Do To Me Because Of My Gender

Ойын-сауық

Nina Aouilk, our guest today on Unfiltered Stories, will share her tragic story with us. Nina was raised by a family that hated girls; as a result, she endured abuse, was sexually assaulted, and was nearly killed. She was subjected to brutality yet managed to escape death several times.
Our guests sit down with their loved ones to discuss their real-life secrets, difficulties and traumas for the first time. Here, we embrace vulnerability and we celebrate what makes us different, without shame or judgement. Welcome to Unfiltered Stories, it’s time to start healing. 🌅

ABUSE comes in all different religions. MY abuser was CATHOLIC! More than just love and prayers; I think she deserves to be put into a position whereupon she could FINANCIALLY help others too;I was thinking, that if each "independent and respected" mother in every country , could find a way to DONATE ONE DOLLAR to this lady's cause; SHE, of all "spokesmen" would know exactly what to do with those dollars ? At least American society has come to grips with providing safe havens and shelters; next job should be the protections of the street people, though ? SOME and MANY are females ? (Religion and Tradition?) Saudi Arabian women are still trying to escape abuse.! Make us wonder about that old attage "animals treat their young better than humans!?") I HOPE this channel continues to present believable "stories," . What a sweet lady; if all of this is true, she's quite brave, isn't she ? The "pace" t which she recollects these tragic experiences seems to add much to her sincerity. (Very believable.) Makes us wonder a bt about all of those trains that crashed in India recently, too. DID males not want to help injured females btw? Has NINA been given a lie detector test , also? Quite convincing, it does make some of us think twice about the concept of "not having control over what country" or "what culture " one is born in? There was one injured mother "featured" who said she watched her daughter die under a GIANT PIECE OF METAL. No men around to help with that ? Not to chivalrous? Yes, there's a song I always thought Reba should have never recorded; " Fancy", about the mother who sold her daughter into prostitution; For a Devout Christion, always seemed so hypocritical! MY ADVICE TO MEN IN GENERAL: And to male producers who said "you must change this to All Night Long" or people wont' listen to it...I SAY " You Missed THE POINT!" "Loving You All Day Long" by Ana Marie Ceuca, in French and Italian. LyndaFayeSmusic@yahoo. Global Women Against War and Abuse!

This is why I don't believe it's wrong to not accept all cultures. Not all cultures should be accepted because of acts such as this. Your generalising a pedophile and his dysfunctional family and calling it a “culture”. The culture she is claiming to be from feeds homeless and are one of the kindest people on earth - Sikhs and Panjabis - look us up. I don’t know how true this girls account is - but when she says her culture- she seems to be playing the victim to ignorant people and I start to doubt her story. She can say my family was bad, I had a dysfunctional home…when is sexual abuse a part of any cultures and that to incest and rape? Sikhs are known to be proper…taking care of others - clearly she was born into a household that said they were Sikhs.

My ex who unfortunately took his life in 2016 was also Indian and he was abandoned by his parents in a train station in Calcutta and put in an orphanage where he was beaten, starved, and tied up like a dog. This is just the opposite of “ women are stronger than we think”. with the exception of Nina, and maybe one other most of the women in the story are quite disgusting. The men are also atrocious but they have never been a little girl and can’t relate to that position. These women can totally relate to what it was like to be a little girl, and their disgusting fear and selfishness is so large that it would actually allow them to stand by and watch the abuse of a minor to this level. Everyone within a 20 mile radius of the story should be in jail for life or worse.

Women are stronger than men. Let me say that again. Women are stronger than men. This is why many men feel the need to control women. It is their fear of the woman's power. Especially when women form a group, say like sisters who are united, or strong female friends standing together. That terrifies many if not most men. This is why controlling men seek to isolate women from other women. All men have over women is our physical power. That's really it. We're not more intelligent. We're not wiser. We're not more spiritual. We're just (generally) physically stronger. And, do you know what? My acknowledgment of that, as a man, actually makes me stronger as a human. But, I'm a human who understands that I would be nowhere without the strong woman who holds my family together.

@@sladkydevotchkaYou are ignoring the point she made. It IS part of that culture to disregard girls as worthless- that's not racist, it's a fact. Obviously it doesn't mean that every one within that culture feels that way but yes, it is part of their culture and it's not racist to state facts. China does the same thing. They have murdered so many baby girls over several decades that this generation is in a crisis right now and doesn't even have enough women to marry the men available. Chinese men are literally marrying dead women( yes look it up) and shipping women in from surrounding countries so the Chinese men can get married. So please don't lump in facts with racism as though they are the same thing, just bc those facts are tied to a culture. Racism is when someone believes their race is above another race. No one is saying that here. Only facts were shared and if you think that's "racist" then you aren't making the connection and don't understand what's really being said here. What happened to this woman happened BECAUSE of her CULTURE and the way they view women; not because of racism.

I was really shocked by this story and I’m rarely shocked. I was abused at a young age. I was even raped as an infant by my father. I was kept in my crib for the first three years of my life because my mother didn’t want to deal with a child. It was easier to keep me in a room. I remember jumping in my crib a lot for fun because there was nothing else to do. I remember jumping so high and one day I accidentally jumped out onto the floor. I remember being more shocked that my family, hearing the thud, came in to see what happened than the fact that I fell on the floor. I didn’t know how to communicate with others because of the isolation. When I was fourty years old I learned how to talk freely by talking to strangers at the grocery store. So, I just can't believe that people who birth you can be this mean to you, then in-laws this mean and then I can't believe that your partner will be this mean. What a world we are living in sharing neighbourhoods with victims abused daily and their perpetrators, pure heartless monsters. What makes them this evil. I have probably watched 90% of Law and order svu episodes and still can't believe the level of hate Nina has been subjected too. Then again human history is full of genocides and unspeakable crimes.
