I don’t know if this is true. Jesus is more real than anything in this universe and by the definition once you come alive to Him you whole universe changes as much as you revolve your life around Him. You can back slide after receiving knowledge of Him. I would liken Christ to apparent reality that has always been there.

There is not a story of the Bible where someone just believes “just because”. No they made the appropriate response to God’s initiative. I believe believers and non-believers make responses to Gods initiatives all the time. I disobey many a time because of being careless and have to repent later to get back on track with God and His purpose with my life. It is being “hand in glove” with God is the goal. His life flowing through us but He won’t force it.

I believe what “makes” an unbeliever isn’t so remarkable. It’s is merely a person who believes a lie. That’s it. And it isn’t the lie that God doesn’t exist. Demons are believers in that sense (they believe God definitely real). Now what makes a believer not someone different than that. They come to knowledge of who Jesus is and His teaching are absolutely true. The catch is you can never 100% prove that. Yes it is sound non-refuting logic in His teaching unlike all other religions but I won’t get into that.

If you can EVER lose your salvation then how could anyone ever refer to it as “ETERNAL” life? If it’s not eternal then there’s really no hope in it and it offers nothing more than any other religion in the world. Furthermore, if you can lose what God has freely given you, then we may as well cut out some of the most beautiful promises in all of Scripture; Philippians 1:6 John 10:28 Romans 8:38-39 2 Corinthians 1:22 And on and on and on the promises go. And the very reason there’s SO much hope and assurance in these verses is because it is GOD who does it, NOT ME!! If I thought it were up to me to earn my way or to keep it once I had it, I would be terrified and would have given up all hope long ago. Soli Deo Gloria!!

People should repent!

Only thing I don't agree with is "spanking" in the Bible. It's not. The texts are taken out of its original historical and situation specific context.
