What is the BEST tree you could ever plant in the desert? NEEM TREE of course!
What a wonderful shade and medicinal tree for arid climates! I do believe this tree among others can stop desertification that is happening everywhere. Plus, the antifungal, antimicrobial organic pesticide qualities are amazing! Use neem oil for many good uses!

I just bought a neem tree today!! I’m so excited as I’ve wanted this for years. I live in a sun tropical state of Australia so I know it will grow well here even though it’s not overly dry, we do sometimes have very dry seasons and sometimes very humid.

Wonderful!
I live in n fla zone 9a and I have a neem tree growing in the ground going on 3 years now. I planted it in a huge container with the bottom cut out so it would never sit in water as we have that rain season down here. It's about 15 feet tall now. It really is amazing. Lots of medicinal benefits. You can even make some tea out of the leaves and use it as an antiseptic mouth wash. Its definitely a winner 😎🌿💕

They are amazing, no water at all
I never thought I'd say I'm jealous of someone living in Phoenix, but here I am lol. My wife and I are in southeast Arizona and unfortunately we get some considerably low temps in winter due to our high elevation so I don't think neem trees would survive our freezing temps. I'd still like to try my luck because I swear by neem oil for foliar spray as well as for controlling gnats and septoria. If you plan on pressing your own locally produced oil I'd love to purchase some!
I really benefited from your video. You did a great job explaining more information that I have been accumulating because of my interest. Please let me know what your pricing is. I believe that I would like to purchase three for my property in Henderson, Nevada. Our entire community could benefit!!!
Your plants are looking great Jay… hope you’ve been doing great bro… Looking forward to swinging by soon and purchasing a carambola… god bless talk soon
I live in South Africa thank u for ur vids
I use neem oil and I had no idea I could grow the tree here. I started gardening in my backyard 3 years ago. This sounds like a lovely addition. You said you sell them I'm curious if you ship them out. I would love to buy a tree like that from you however I cannot drive so I'm curious to know if you would mail it or deliver
Man I need to come visit your nursery!

Yes you do
After over 25 yrs of intense gardening here, I can tell u the lows are the real killers. And they can often (or at least occasionally) be worse in August than July. We are now getting a very unusual 15 plus day (predicted) break. Just in time to save some plants that haven't perished but are under the cusp. I traded out a Neem I bought over a yr ago. Why ? Takes a LOT of room to grow one CORRECTLY where it can spread out. IF you have a lot of space (I have nearly a half acre--but ALREADY have nearly 500 plants--many mature now--and 7 raised beds)...I can't place another eventual HUGE shade tree. Pretty leaf tree, though !!
has a monsoon ever knocked down one of your big trees? I live in phoenix and it knocked down one of my front yard trees. I pruned it but it still happened. With so many shade trees id be worried about it happening again. Thank you
Here in N. Commifornia lowlands, zone 9a, I use you Phoenix growers as a proxy for my climate. Guess I need an Neem too! :D Yeah I'd be giddy w some rain this time of yr., even just bare measurable amount.

What is the root structure of this tree? I’m also reading that it is an evasive tree. Currently battling mesquite and don’t want to introduce another plant that takes over.

Not bad because it's a little fruit. The mesquite produces a pod with many seeds
