What Is a Pop Filter / How to Make One for CHEAP

My new album is out, proof these tips work I guess. It's not generic garbage, trust me: distrokid.com/hyperfollow/cth...
Ever wonder if using a pop filter for recording vocals actually makes a difference? I explain what a pop filter is and show you a recording done with and without a pop filter. Then I show you how to make one with materials you already have.

Did you learn how to declick your audio after 7 years? Those mouth sounds are kinda nasty in this vid.
Badass. I love it when people say CHEAP, they really mean it and not go, "I bought this cheap $50 dollar thing." Great job! And I love the subtle humor

If you're a cricket and produce noises by rubbing your legs together, then yes, you can nicely get rid of the annoying sound that way.

still new to recording at home and was having trouble with some vocals. watched this video and made my own with a compression sock and a coat hanger. a definite difference! thanks for the upload, bro!

i am so surprized that worked. ima going to like and try it out
Thanks for posting this! Going to try this tomorrow!
I love this video! You're great at explaining! Thanks!!
Thanks for the tip. This actually works. See I did have a hanger, but I didn't have a sock🙁 so I had to improvise & I came across a mouse pad on my desk & it had a thin surface that felt exactly like a stocking would. So I pulled it off & tape it around the support for the filter & bang I have a homemade filter & didn't even have to buy one. Thanks so much again for the tutorial it helped out & saved me some money.

HELLO.. Is a pop filter used for karaoke outside? And what kind of professional wired microphone should I use for my karaoke portable speaker?
Take 3 weeks to get the good price one, and your video save my LIFE. Thanks MAHAGURU. Now I feel lucky carrying my unused pantyhose in my backpack.

So Mr. Chris, will this device work if I clip my earphone speaker to the backside of the Pop filter and just let the earbuds hang?
Does it make a difference what material is used for the pantyhose? Nylon vs Polyester vs Cotton, etc.

Do you have a video for making a copy inexpensive sound booth or making a room as big as a closet that’s soundproof so you don’t disturb your neighbors?

but won't the fly swatter distrupt too much higher fequencies from getting through? (I'd imagine it's plastic and .... thick, don't even know how to explain it. :D ) compared to a hole having the pantyhose over it.
HAHAHHAHHA @ wears pantyhose in face to reduce popping sound lol
thank youu
u r day man
Cool
I was to lazy to get wire cutters so I just untwisted it at the top of the hanger 😂

Whats your headset?
I don't have enough money for a good microphone, I want to record my guitar but all I have is a headset mic, the recording is so distorted because of all the "pops" in the sound so I hope this will cut down the distortion a little bit
I was here to find a solution that won’t make me spend $$ and got compensated with one PLUS a good laugh 😂
I try to make it it was pretty easy to make but hard to put fast
This video is great🤣
