FWIW... on these monitors... the Yeti sounded best or each individual track... yet the Snowball full mix sounded better. (Wasn't expecting that, LOL!)

Just a guess... a good equalizer plugin could make either one sound like the other.

When I record vocals, karaoke track is interrupted. When I pause singing, hearing the track also stops. Why is that?

If they sound different when you mix...mix them differently so they sound good. Who cares if it is the same?

I think the mic sound tremendously better with multiple socks on it. Tames the horrid highs on that thing quite nicely

*I own this same mic. I am INSANELY shocked. I was going to upgrade to the HyperX Quadcast (non-S). Low cost and the settings on the mic are beautiful (plus built-in gain). But if a little bit of mixing/editing can create such clean and beautiful sound, maybe I'll stick to my iCE.*

I've tried websites that swear they remove lead vocals from KZread songs, but they DO NOT remove the background vocals. I've tried Moises, but it doesn't support KZread URL videos. A lot of apps and websites are the same way. So why should I believe what you're talking about is any different or that you know what you're talking about? Seriously!?

I know this is simplifying it, but I think of EQ as a more precise way to adjust bass and treble. With EQ we're just adjusting a wider range of frequencies in a much more detailed way.

I'm currently 21, and man, I remember having this thing and playing around with it quite often, usually recording music, along with random stuff from the mic onto the little "MP3" player it came with, along with seeing what happened if I were to hold the mic close to the speaker, which would produce feedback, of course. It was quite fun to play with and could've been a useful tool in my practicing and/or making music in my later years until it started to glitch out and break eventually. Having a toy black and blue flying V-styled guitar/keytar with red and orange buttons, along with having this thing, I would say, had some form of influence in me eventually learning how to play guitar, starting from having Torino Red Squier Strat my uncle gave to me, and being fortunate to have it repaired and be taught how to play by a neighbor years later, still jamming to this day. I also noticed recently how you could also convert one of those echo microphone toys, which I had when I was younger (either broken or given away to charity), into a useable microphone using a Piezo disc, along with having a guitar jack to hook it up to your recording software to record while having a built-in reverb effect. Also, that part towards the end (from 2:06-2:35) with the guitar, synthesized violin, and the pan flutes in that demo song you recorded really captured my interest, as I'm into the synth sound, and with the pan flutes, sounded quite exotic, as indicated by that mischievous grin you flashed, haha!

I've been playing since 1968, toured for years as a sideman, played on studio projects, taught. blah blah blah. I am 67, which makes me an old school analog guy.in a digital world which is why I am here. I am grateful that you put everything I need to know on a video that is geared towards an absolute "beginner". I've watched enough videos to know what's good and what's not ....yours is excellent. Thanks1

Haha.. go buy some socks! 😛 I may actually use this... or a slightly more refined version of it cause I've got a nice white blue yeti and the huge black pop filter just doesn't look godd.... and almost all foam filters are black. I want a nice white, golden or sparkly filter 😀

Thank you for your work and your time! Now try installing the same plugins with identical settings in each workstation. That’s when you’ll hear the difference (((And imagine that your project has 30 tracks and all with plugins. That’s where the difference is!

I struggled with any recording of acoustic guitars for years. Try this, go indirectly. EQ that guitar with a little more mid.And base. Then set up a really detailed. Condenser microphone. You spoke at the same time, then blend them in your mix. You will be utterly amazed the sound that you get. Put some light river on it for sustain on the electric side. Maybe like a room reverb, reverb.. If you do it right, you'll be amazed the huge sound you get out of that guitar. Maybe try panting one left or hard left in a hard right and then take your time and blendon together. You get the mix right? You'll see, it's amazing. Sounds a rich and full.
