My bone marrow was 60% when diagnosed in June of this year. My first pcr test was at 29% in July, it is down to 0.023% as of October 31st. So far so good! 🙏

Hie Steve Actually I diagnosed with CML CP on 29 Feb 2024. I have not done base line PCR. After 3 month of treatment my PCR value is 3.554% IS value. How would I know my log reduction?? Means how many logs have to decreased??

Thank you for your comment and sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Unfortunately, without knowing what the initial baseline PCR was, it is hard to say what the log reduction is. Regardless, a PCR of under 4% is very good, so I would be happy about that.

And doctor decided mutation test on December 2023.but i taking imetnib 400 mg regularly

I’m not sure I relate to this. I just take tasigna. It does have side effects. But I deal with ‘em

I was put on Tasigna back in 2018. Couldn’t deal with the side effects.

My this year bcr abl quantitative count is 0.079% at the time of diagnosed in my bone marrow report the num was 97% in 2018

What is different between p190 and p210 My bcr abl p210 positive So plz tell about different both

Thank you for your comment. p190 and p210 are different variants of leukemia. The p210 version is more common with CML patients.

And my next pcr after 2 month on February 2024. But pcr report sow less then detectable limit

After 26 month pcr.45% next 32 month pcr .55% now at the time changing imatinib to alternet medicine dasatinib will be started dasatinib.

MY mom BCR - ABR are continue showe 0.000 so doctor decide the stop the medicine so My mom medicine are stop at 8 months and this 8 months my mom BCR - ABL are few months 0.000 and few months less than 0.000 and this test are done 8 months 8 time (every month) and than doctor decide this BCR- ABL test are done in every two months so after two months my mom BCR - ABL are 4.3506% so doctor decide to start medicine again so there are chasese to again my mom medicine are stop

Thank you for your comment. That was good that your mom was able to stop the medicine for several months. Sorry to hear that the PCR has started to increase. If she continues to take her medicine there is a chance in the future she can go off the medicine. But it would have to be a few more years into the future before she can do that.
