    I have MDS and get a cbc weekly. I dont know what the ten values are, or what they mean. I wait a day and the hematologist office calls and tells me if I need to get a procrit injection or not the next day. So much to know

    Thank you for your comment. I don't have MDS, but blood test reports are usually very similar regardless of the diagnosis. Without knowing which 10 tests you get, I can assume that they look at different blood numbers and also some of your other body organs. It is good that your doctor calls within a day with instructions and feedback.

    Hi. I would like to ask you if you happen to know about the side effects of tasigna in the bones after a surgery. I was diagnosed with cml & I've been taking tasigna since 2018 and I've been having some issues with my maxilar (nothing to do with CmL or tasigna) but my doctor is worried about the healing of the jaw bone after surgery ... She said that there are not enough scientific studies about tasigna and the incidence of this (with other lines of treatments for CmL yes, and there is an incidence) and I've been searching about.. (that is why I got to your channel) so if you happen to know something, I would really appreciate it. I am glad you are on remission!!

    @@hdjhjhjhdfjhd Hi! Well, to be honest I don't fully remember, it was 16.0000 or 60.0000 I know it has a six on it. But the doctor told me it was very high.. and about to cross the line to the other type of leukimia. Right now I am whithout medication since July. My blood tests last week were excelent. I was diagnosed 10 years ago, this week preciesly.

    Hey there! I am taking Dasatinib but my platelets are getting affected and going low. I had to stop Dasatinib to get the blood count back to normal. Do you know anyother way i can keep the platelets up without cutting out on Dasatinib?

    Thank you for your question. Sorry to hear about the platelet issue with Dasatinib. What dose were you taking? You would need to work with your doctor, but perhaps you can start back on a lower dose of Dasatinib and see if the platelets are better with the lower dose. Please keep up posted - Stephen

    Hiii Dr has suggested to do IMRA test ... and the result is mutation not detected...wat does it mean

  • @healCML

    @healCML

    Жыл бұрын

    The doctor was looking to see if you have a mutation that would mean that you would not have a good result from your drug. Since you do not have a mutation it means that you should still be able to take the drug you are currently taking.
