Chess Evolved Online, also known as Old Old Chess Battle Advanced, is a game created by a crypto-addicted Spaghetti Monster. Armored pieces make up a major amount of the meta because this ability is immensely strong.

Not sure if I mentioned but armor also 'regenerates' (well, it's a new piece) when even an armorless Duelist promotes to Fencer. I unfortunately only found an amazing replay where that got used to 3v1 uptrade after I already made the video

It's wild how much more readable OOCBA would be if it just didn't have a square inline in every grid cell and segmented square outlines with an inner cross on every highlight.

41:55 I didn't expect one of my games to apear, but you're welcome for the free content... Also I consider duelist to be the best 0 cost piece for when you don't have enough points for something that synergieses with the deck.
The wierdest fix I can think of is making king attacks unblockable. It at least prevents most solomates.

Why pieces dont just unhaunt armor and give it to the king? Are they stupid? Yes i know chess dont work like that

1:08 I'm confused. Can't the opponent just take the piece? The hauntedarmor is not protected by its own passive effect. Look at its overlay: the center square is not maked as being protected (because it has a different icon than the 8 surrounding squares).

It’s blocks attacks coming from the marked squares. Unless it tried to commit minecraft, there’s no way the attack could come from the centre sauare
Rework idea: The haunted armor gives armor to 1 minion and then you lose 4 morale and the haunted armor doesn't have armor just this ability

Rework idea: HA+++ has purple changed to knight jumps, but Destroyed after using Unblockable.
