@Pythonista It depends how much time they are given to power up. Jiren only has shown his true power when he wanted to actually eliminate Goku and then he has finally broken that limit, but he only went to 12.1 septilions while Broly has been powering up constantly while fighting Vegeta and then Goku and reached 11.2 septilion even though he has never had an actual opponent untill Vegeta. Jiren had actual training while Broly was simply trained as a brute.

I don't think Broli's anywhere near as powerful as Jiren. Goku tells Broli that he's "probably stronger than Beerus" after fighting him at his best. But Jiren is DEFINATELY stronger than Beerus, even before he breaks his limits during the tournament.I don't think Broli's anywhere near as strong as Jiren.

I like to imagine that when Broly goes Legendary Super Saiyan and Kale goes berserk, the fight wouldn’t last long considering the vast power gap between the two but their short fight would annihilate most of the arena and Broly would run Kale out of juice quickly. Edit: speaking of that, Carthu didn’t seem to bring in Legendary Super Saiyan Broly.

The thing is that. Broly might not need to have any fancy god forms at all. He's super saiyan forms is enough to par with god forms just by powering up. The more he is in the battle the more he adapts the dangerous he is going to be which is the downside of it because he cant control it. In short broly is the REAL super saiyan. Power of a real super saiyan at its core.

Broly is not a character who co-operates, steps in for or saves allies or takes rests whether he is injured or not, especially not in SSJ. He only sees bodies and objects he can throw his power at because his power is screaming to be let out, driving him berserk. He would not be able to distinguish between friend or foe with this in and out idea you have with Jiren and Vegeta and several events leading up to this. It would make much more sense if instead of bodying God of Destruction Toppo, Broly turned on Universe 7 and between the scramble to get him under control with Jiren and Toppo taking advantage of this, is what ends up eliminating Gohan, Piccolo and the others. Then an exhausted Toppo who is new to his god powers can be eliminated by SSJ Broly, leaving Goku, Jiren, Frieza and Broly.

This is a well designed concept but I believe Broly would have entered his rage mode much earlier and would have no control over who he fights much like kale before the ToP when training with cabba and kalifla. I think if anything he would prove more of a nuisance but in the same way very helpful as he would discard of the other universes fighters very quickly but still have no control of his emotions. He wouldn’t listen to his father telling him to stop in the movie which is why the shock collar is in place so that maybe a slight insight on my behalf as Paragus would still have Brolys “shock therapy”. But none the less I think it would turn out incredibly different

One of the big issues with broly attending the tournament of power is that he could potentially kill someone if he goes out of control, especially considering how strong he is.

Jiren one shots... He wouldn't have tolerated Broly's anger. Hence not giving Broly enough time to get those crazy Zenkai boosts.
