If a person tells you/shows you they're not looking for anything serious BELIEVE THEM. No amount of conversations time spent date nights and sex will change their mind. If you are out here dating with a purpose you have to align yourself with people who want exactly what it is that you want rather if it's marriage or something casual you have to be honest about what it is that you want. Sometimes people can't see our value and sometimes people just don't want the obligation and responsibility that comes with a relationship neither is a good situation to be in because what happens is you pour so much of yourself into that person hoping they see your value meanwhile they give you bare minimum treatment because they may feel you are not worth the investment or they try to keep things as nonchalant and casual as possible because they don't want to connect on an emotional level with you so there behavior won't come across as misleading. Nobody is worth wasting your time or emotions so it's best to move on I don't care if u 1 month in or 7 years in WALK AWAY

I agree with EVERYTHING you said & it's true...I happen to find myself in a situation where the person kept confusing me & I tried to have conversation after conversation, like Ace said, & all it did was leave me hurt. This last relationship was one of my biggest lessons regarding the codependency that I am healing from & even though I went through mess, I am grateful for the lesson & I will no longer allow my precious time to be wasted on "trying to save someone" 🙏🩷🙏

@latoyawalls5042 I got out of a situationship 7 months ago I had never been it that type of situation before but from experience it was draining crazy part was I didn't even like him for awhile but ended up catching feelings once I got to know him. But I take full responsibility for even allowing myself to catch feelings and also for allowing myself to stay and continue to get disrespected I was on and off with him for 7 months and I couldn't take it anymore. It was hard letting go but sticking around was killing me. Even to this day I still think about him but it's from a hurtful place because that was my experience with that man. I never really comment on post but I feel like alot of people needed to hear this and I know it's hard but we have to give ourselves the type of love we seek from others once u master that nobody will ever be able to take advantage of you because u know your worth. Make sure you have standards and set clear boundaries!!!!!!!!❤️
