Couldnt more tru the last time my ex came bzck he did a number on me absolutely destroyed me i couldnt sleep for 2 years i had nightmare where i killed him. I got agoraphobia i couldnt leave the hous because he told lies. I couldnt cope ive never been so angry. In the end due to bottling up the emotions i got breast cancer. I truly believe all those toxic traumatised emotions stayed inside me until they ruined me. The only time i was able to process is the emotions was in my sleep. Im not a person who believe in sillyness but ive noticed that the adults who gets cancer they have a particulr behavior of holding in their emotions. Ive seen it time after time.

I almost gave up my current life to go live in Greece with a man who was my boyfriend 20 years ago, we broke up back then because he had to go back to Greece, not because we had any other problems. We reconnected recently, first of all this man has not evolved since the 90s so that was a lot, but as soon as he told me that men must not want to be with me because I have a chronic illness I noped TF right out of there. Actually before I ended it I laughed and told him that I don’t look sick so dudes don’t actually care that I have a chronic illness. It was terrifying to see how close I came to trapping myself in another country with a man who would totally own me because I wouldn’t be able to work initially, I wouldn’t be able to go rent my own apartment, etc.

Funny thing is my ex fiancé did this to me for years. Promised to change when I was ready to leave. I was so fed up after 6 years of it. Then when I finally decided to exit his life for good he called me a narcissist. Like……how am I the narcissist😮… I’ve been in therapy for years after that relationship while he is now married. Who is really the narcissist….? I didn’t mention the physical and emotional abuse either. The fact that he took my engagement ring and convinced me I lost it only to see his new wife wearing the same ring.

Soooo crazy! I’m so sorry you went thru that! I hope you are doing better. My ex took me thru the same thing over and over for years and I am finally done! He claimed I was his wife and we even did premarital counseling and I never got a ring. We went looking for houses and he kept making false promises, only to break up with me a couple weeks later and leave me so confused. I thought he had finally got it together but now I realize he was just manipulating me and had no intentions of getting married. I went back a couple more times after that, but this time I am done! I only communicate with him when I have to since we have a 7 year old. He is pathetic!

You are right. He sent his representative when l first met him. I don't know how you know but you absolutely correct. He been slowly revealing the true person underneath. I finally get it.
