True dat. I'm 43 yrs and ending my 2nd marriage faster than I ended the first one. I'm just done with the lying, the cheating, the competing, the distespect, & the entitlement. I'm just done. There are too many boys playing like they're men. I'd rather find a real man or be single. Period. Life is too short to continue to deal with BS.

Seventeen years though🤔⁉️ That is some serious perseverance to hang in there for so long. The longest I hung around was five years. I still can't believe I stayed in that nonsense for so long. Sometimes it's us trying to turn a Dusty into a King. It's not the man it's us accepting situations and behaviors not conducive to what we need .A lot of us need some time to do inner work with no distractions. We need to make it a habit to BLOCK and DELETE people out of our lives that should not be there. We need to block calls, block certain ppl off social media, stop answering the door, if need be change our number and keep it moving. This will help us with a healthier mentally and protect our peace and stop accepting ppl in our life's journey that is not in harmony.

I would LOVE to talk to Kim. I'm an 8 year narcissistic abuse survivor. He has almost killed me several times & he even "kidnapped" me when I DID get the strength to leave him. He stalked me, broke in my house, manipulated me, I called the police & they took him to jail. He was out the next day, threw a brick in my window got inside my house, locked me in a room for almost 2 weeks while depriving me of my medications until I was so weak he was then able to take me from Indiana to Washington State where I'm happy to say that I have FINALLY got the right support to actually take this seriously. I have a 2 year restraining order in which he has been arrested several times on. I think we got him tho cuz they warned him that if he goes to jail ONE more time over this they're gonna hit him with some BIG TIME. Jail is where the narcissist I was dating hates the most. Anyways LOTS to this story but I HAD to hop on here cuz I could SEE how this woman is still in a Brainwashed state. This is where they NEED to keep you to keep the most control over you. I was there, lost everything except my life luckily. You won't see what you're wanting to see until later. But my immediate advice for you (& THIS IS WHERE I FUCKED UP) is you HAVE TO NO MATTER WHAT GO NO CONTACT WITH THIS MAN. PERIOD. THERE'S NO OTHER WAY. & IM TELLING YOU THIS PLEASE LISTEN CUZ IT COULD COST YOU YOUR LIFE: NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOTTTTT TAKE HIM BACK AFTER YOU LEAVE! If you think shits bad now honey you ain't seen nothing yet! THE MAN THAT YOU WERE DATING, THE MAN THAT HE SHOWED YOU, THAT YOU HAD LONG TALKS WITH & HAD SOOOO MUCH IN COMMON WITH, HAD SO MUCH PASSION YOU DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD EVER HAVE WITH SOMEONE..... IT WAS ALL AN ACT. THAT PERSON DOES NOT EXIST! IT WAS A CHARACTER HE PLAYED JUST LIKE AN ACTOR IN A MOVIE! They're master manipulators, have NO remorse or mercy not even for innocent children so DO NOT try & think you're gonna outsmart him, win, etc. None of can. They are too good at what they do, okay? If you’re going to do adult things then act and be a responsible adult. It’s easier to succumb to mediocrity and temptation for that instant gratification more than anything. People’s morals and values have changed drastically for the worst. They don’t think of the long term effects and consequences. There are way too many single mothers and it’s proven statistically that fatherless children are more likely to become involved with crime. Also many single mothers let their children do as they please. Also they’re friends with their child instead of being their parent. It utterly disgusts me how disrespectful kids are these days to their parents. I wholeheartedly and firmly believe that if you’re not ready to support not only yourself but also a child with no help from others and or inconveniencing others, financially specifically then go ahead. But that’s not the case with the world today especially here in the states.
