People are hungrier at different times of the day. I know I am a big eater generally, but in the morning all I want is like a rx bar or a piece of toast. Other people need a bigger breakfast. We are all different.

hahaha I'm not a breakfast person!! So to me to be hungry in the morning was out of the ordinary. Trust me though, I can pound my pancakes and bagels and french toast.
I'm so glad Vitoria made another video like this, I needed a reminder! Sometimes I stray from my intuitive eating practices. Also, how refreshing to see someone on youtube eat a frozen pizza and Doritos off a paper plate!? Thanks for being incredibly genuine. I'm sure this is why we all love you.

MightyNighty7 well, I lost both singles and doubles but it was against the best school we’re gonna play this season. On my singles, I played my hardest I literally have ever, and I raised my score from 11-21 to 19-21. I’m pretty proud of myself and at the moment I just want some canes

I seriously love her so much, she makes me remember what a normal teenage diet looks like, instead of putting toward “astestic” and unrealistic meals which make you feel bad about what you eat

Thank you so much for posting these. I am 35 yrs old, I am raising 3 kids who are now 5, 13 and 16. I'm also Autistic and ADHD and so I have comorbid things such as Sensory Aversions and Sensitivities, Low Dopamine/Impulse Control issues, etc. I've struggled with disordered and self esteem/body image issues my entire life, since as far back as 5 or 6 yrs old and comparing myself to the girls in my kindergarten class. I've been through a pattern of Restricting and over exercising, getting "Fit" and then crashing and burning, resulting in weeks to months, even longer of Binge Eating cycles, gaining all of it back. I'm currently in a really dark BED Relapse, and in the process of finally addressing it with a Registered Dietitian (for the first time in my life) and I've ordered some Mindful/Intuitive eating workbooks. Your story, and your channel, means so much to me and so many others. Thank you so much!

Taste hunger is a valid part of intuitive eating. I’m rarely physically hungry when I eat dessert but often am still seeking the “satisfaction factor” so I’ll grab the dessert and be mindful not to eat to a point of discomfort but satiety. The situation also comes into play, is the food chips that you always have on hand, or is it a meal you might never get to have again? With time and practice you learn to find the balance between physical and mental comfort.

I found this website helpful: normaleating.com/blog/2010/04/stopping-when-full/ And she basically says that when you are eating past fullness just cause “it tastes good...” then you are stuck in the neck up trap, and that it isn’t just about taste, but it’s a full body experience. Hope you find it helpful maybe? It answered a lot of questions for me
do more of these please this really helped me
omg that turkey sandwich lookes sososo good!
I consider your effort doing those videos. I know they may help lots of people. Nevertheless, I think that you still struggle with regrets when it comes to food. I am not sure it's mentally healthy to make all those rituals before eating a meal. Moreover, the amount of food you eat is pretty little. Not sure it's enough for an athlete like you. I am not trying to be disrespectful, it's just an appreciation. Even though, I appreciate the effort, as I said, you are making in order to help others to feel better. Pd: sorry if my English is bad. I'm Spanish.
Hey Victoria, I know you love volleyball, and volleyball is starting up soon and I used to love it as much as you do. But last year my coach and half of my team was extremely toxic and they made me lose my interest in playing now. Is there anything you recommend me doing to help me find my love for volleyball again?
hey victoria, do you think you could do a how to dive video?
Can you do a video on tips for intuitive eating when you are a collegiate runner? Aka I could be craving doritos for lunch but can't eat them because I have a workout later that day, or I really want a milkshake but have a race that week ect.
So, I am recovering from bulimarexia (Bulimia+Anorexia) and I want to start intuitive eating. The thing is, after an apple and some yogurt, I feel full, but in my mind I am still hungry. Plus, my mother still says I am not getting the nutrients I need, even though I feel full. How do I go about this if I don't feel hungry anymore, but I still need to eat? When does it become too much much, and vise versa?
You and your mom look so much alike!!😍
how do i pack a lunch for school with intuitive eating when i don't have many options once i get to school?
I’m finally early
frozen pizza is bomb. periodt.
But what happened to the straw that was supposed to be in your sprite on Wednesday?! I was sad for you that you didn’t get a straw hahahah P.S. I love when you talk out what you’re thinking before you decide what you want to eat. Whether you want hot or cold, how hungry you are, etc. I feel like I can relate to that so much and it’s so helpful :)
I watched this video like a movie ‘cause what you’re eating is totally different from what I usually eat. Maybe that’s because we’re from different parts of the globe.

Hi.I really want to play volleyball so much but i don’t find a volleyball school or something like that What Can i do? Do you have some tips or something? Thank you.
We were undefeated, almost won all of it! and we just lost to a team that we should of won tonight and now most of our team is bawling our eyes out at our houses and I am so aggravated and sad because I really put all my effort out there and we still lost I got us from 14 to 24 while they were at game point for all of that then I messed up the last serve that I knew I had to make. We went to a the last match to 15 and we lost 13-15.😟😖 I know this is not about this video but do any of u know what I should tell the team or do???
Serious question: does intuitive eating mean eating anything you crave as much as you want whenever you want? Is it not restricting whatsoever?
@brenaebergeron2352
3 жыл бұрын
Yes, basically a title for eating the way your body naturally wants to. Eating what you crave, stopping when you’re full, not worrying about time of day, and not counting calories, etc
@victoriabrowne
3 жыл бұрын
Correct, but the discrepancy is that you're also MINDFUL during the process. So it's not just "eat whatever you want when you want" it's that AND "making sure your body feels good throughout the process"
Can you do middle or right side training?
