omg yes petit suisse!! those are a childhood staple in france :) for those curious, despite the "swiss" in the name it's from normandy. it's similar to a very smooth cottage cheese, and is very nice with jam when bought plain :)

on the egg question: i’m a chef and use a lot of eggs and without a doubt cracking eggs on the flat counter is better than a bowl. slay surface prevents the egg shell being pushed inside so makes for a cleaner crack and less shell in ur meal and with one smack it’s a easier way to crack eggs and cleaner !
It’s great to see Inga enjoying Alvin’s cooking. Alvin’s hairstyle and smile reminds me of the kdrama actor Park Bo Gummy.

Tuck the rubber curve of the wand against the lip of the carafe and let the bottom of the carafe be parallel to the counter. No tipping! That adds too much air. If you submerge the wand about an inch below the milk, turn the knob on, wait for the milk to start creating a whirlpool and slowlyyyy start incorporating air by lowering the carafe so that the wand starts sucking in air and making a rip sound…you’ll get it ;)

I just watched Alvin’s 200 hour ramen, so glad you got to have some! His video was extraordinary ❤️ I hope your tiramisu was good, it sure looked it :) I’ve only made one once for Mother’s Day. I wrote the recipe down from a Barefoot Contessa Food Network video and when she verbally gave the recipe she switched the quantities for rum and espresso. I think the poor tiramisu was proof by the time we ate it 😂😂

I eat eggs every day and i always crack on a flat surface. When i do it on the edge of something i almost always get shards of egg shell. A flat surface gives a more even break

Team side of bowl. Flat surface for me breaks more yolks.
Every time I crack an egg on a flat surface I can't get it to split. Cracking on the side of the bowl gets shell in it. I'm not sure which is worse 😅
