I Only Made Bridgerton Foods For 24 Hours (The Ultimate Afternoon Tea)
From creamy lemon cakes, to perfectly cut cucumber sandwiches, to hot buttery crumpets, and even the infamous Bridgerton lemonade itself, I challenged myself to only make and eat some of Bridgerton's iconic foods for 24 hours - a curated menu of 9 droolworthy foods, and 2 drinks. Or, at least, it was supposed to be 24 hours, until I realized the actual amount of preparation took much closer to 100 hours... But the dreamy afternoon tea spread I ended up was well worth it! And the closest I'll ever get to living in the romantic Bridgerton universe. Also maybe had a little too much fun finding all these fairytale-esque music tracks - I hope you do enjoy!
A very special thank you to Susan for her incredible insight and delightful recipes! You can find the official book here:You can find the official cookbook here: amzn.to/4c1Aa79

I have zero interest in period dramas or Bridgerton, but I love Inga so I watched this entire video. 🤠 The spread looked amazing! Nice work, Inga!

As someone who is not a great baker, the Queen Cakes looked straightforward and easy to make. And adding a ton of citrus zest? " kzread.infoUgkx99C3fesMou8hRW_KTRsagzbwEvwvaGb2?si=eFARildTkTU6KZ2G

Did you eat all.of it or just made it for a vid ?
The YorkshireGold tea has the royal warrant! That tea is served to some of the monarchy (Twinings has this too since the Queen liked their Eng breakfast!) (googled bc words?) It is granted for up to five years at a time as a mark of recognition for the ongoing supply of goods or services to the Royal Household.

Since it specifically mentions the Prince of Wales, this is the tea that Prince William drinks. Or Charles at the time it was created.
@JamieHaDov

To get the “by appointment to” the royal issues a Royal Warrant. Anything that currently says “prince of wales” was issues by Charles before he became king. Starting in 2025 anything that says that will need to be issues by William. Charles III started issuing “by appointment to the king” this year so anything that still says his mum is at least from 2023.

The feminine urge to do this afternoon tea with your female squad and discussing life while sipping on some lemonade✨️
"Flawless, my Dear ".... Could have not done more better Ingaa! This is just *chefs kiss *
this is perfect! I'm planning on doing a tea party for my sister's birthday tomorrow!

The mini crumpets you saw are welsh cakes! If you ever get the chance definitely make/ try them! They're crumbly melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
The lemon curd is from the jam factory near where I live! The company has genuinely been around since the 1800s and they make the nicest jam and chutneys. I was really jazzed to see the label pop up in this video! (Also the crumpets looked lovely!)

this makes me so happy to hear!!
As a baker, I am truly impressed on the dedication for this shoot! Congratulations!
Girl you look so good in this video I didn't hear what you said for the first like 2 mins the hair the makeup the dress 😍 (also at the time having Lemons and any Citrus was kinda a flex that's why they pop up so often in the recipes and they drink lemonade so much and that why Queen Charlotte was almost offended when Francesca didn't drink the lemonade and having so much food out at the table was a flex too that's why the tables full some ppl might think its just set dressing but they really had those tables stacked to look good)
That's fine, if it's bridgerton themed people should not expect any form of historical accuracy 😅 The little tidbits of history were fun though! Especially as a lover of a particular food history channel 😄
Amazing video, Inga! The love, the work, and the passion can be seen literally in every single dish. Your hard work and research has put on a whole new level girl! Thank you for sharing this journey with us. It was amazing to see!

This was SUCH a joy to watch. As a big themed girly and a huge bridgerton fan, I am inspired to say the least. Definitely want to give some of them a try. Inga coming in strong as usual!
This is art. Quality content. I'm inspired to make some desserts!
That was amazing! As an Australian raised on British food, I'm impressed by your attention to detail with getting the right vibes, in line with the show. I saw the beautiful spread and was like, "Invite your friends!" so it was so satisfying to see them share it with you. ❤ And thank you for introducing me to kippers - I've never tried them and am excited for an alternative to tuna, which I've developed an allergy to.
Watching you cook makes me happy. As much as I enjoyed the era when you were doing everything, I know it wasn't good for your mental health. You seem so much more fulfilled and settled now and that also makes me happy. The same feeling I get when I see a friend succeed, even though we don't personally know each other. Just like seeing Steven on Watcher, and Alvin on Babish. The familiarity may be one sided, but it's comforting to know that y'all are still doing what you love.
I just finished this video - this is crazy amazing!! Your friends must feel so lucky! Enjoy!
It's so good to have you back! This was so good! I loved it! Not only your attention to detail with going the extra mile with the table cloth and the dishes, but just seeing your sheer excitement about the dishes, it was just heart-warming. I cannot even begin to fathom how much preparation and research went into this, prior to this video coming to life, but it was all well worth it in the end. You've outdone yourself, truly. Good job. Can't wait for the next one. ❤.
Set aside your amazing looks, love the effort that you put into cooking and talk about the love that was added in each and one dish, honestly you deserve more recognition!!
What a wonderful video!!! You put in so much effort Inga, and you really captured the vibes. Everything looked so yummy although I feel super drawn to the lemon drizzle cake. The lemon curd looks so beautiful. I'm also curious about the kipper toast. And the tea party looked so fun and you and your dress and your glowy cheeks look so beautiful!
Love your content so much. I was eagerly waiting for these 3 weeks, and your notification came and I felt so over the moon❤. You make me calm, you're my unpaid therapist😂. Thanks a lot.
This is so cool Inga! We can tell how much love and effort you put into this video and concept. Thank you for making this for us!
loved this, Inga. Been super obsessed with Bridgerton lately, so this was a delight to watch! superb work!
I'm loving all the research you did for this video! It feels like I'm spending a summer day baking and chatting with a friend, wonderful work Inga! 💙💙💙💙💙
nice video as usual, crumpets and English muffins are different though in the UK, crumpets have wholes on the top when English muffins don't
What a lovely video Inga! I'll never tire of your content! Please continue doing what you do, it brings us so much joy!
Beautiful tea spread! Well done Inga!❤
My favourite comfort channel!!! The dedication you put in this video is soooooo soothing and beautiful!!! Loved it!!
Awesome video! I think the "crumpets" in the Bridgerton still look more like fruit scones or Welsh cakes, but I'm glad you did a crumpet recipe anyway - I've been meaning to make them. The appointment on the Yorkshire Tea package means the brand supplies the British royal family.

Really really really enjoyed this!!!!! Can’t wait to see more of this Inga!❤ Thank youuuuu for taking us along with you
Amazing job! Clotted cream is not usually something you’d eat with Crumpets but more with scones.
I appreciate the work that you put into this, Ms. Inga! You have outdone yourself! Now I am tempted ti watch all three seasons of Bridgerton.
Really enjoyed this one, Inga! The hard work payed off so well. Lovely job on the entire menu.
I like how my autoplay watched this while i was at the store (tv was off) and now im watching it for real! Love Inga!
Always so relaxing and informative watching videos in this format from you Inga. I also laughed so hard when you decided to break down what "honey salted butter" wss 😂
You have outdone yourself again! Wonderful video Inga!
I give you mad props for doing all this amazing food and did ALOT of work.. all turned out looking fire girl! ❤❤❤..wish I could taste all that
just amazing, the patience, the wardwork EVERYTHING!!
This has to be one of my favorites videos in the history!!! It was amazing, so much passion, hardwork and beautiful dishes. I am trying this!! ♥
The crumpets you saw are actually Welsh cakes. So tasty with butter on or just sugar. Also there were scones too
you worked so hard for this video, everything looks amazing and delicious!
this video is so wholesome and relaxing to watch ❤ as you laid the table, I was thinking how you should have someone to share it with and then you did! thank you for this lovely video and wishing us all a wonderful season 3 finale! 🐝🌹🌻🌷
Your video is such a mood makerr to my bad dayyy. Thank youuu ❤
I've been obsessed with Bridgerton, especially this latest season! Great video Inga :)
Inga's dedication is truly inspiring🙌💯 I'd have probably given up after the 2nd dessert. Also, you look so pretty💖 It's like you are glowing more and more every day
I love how much love you put into these! I can feel your burning passion towards culinary 💝💕
I really love how calming and relaxing your content is ❤
I love that you’re also a Polin fan! Their story - and what we’ve seen of Season 3 so far - is just *chef’s kiss* ❤🥰 I’m definitely trying some of these for my marathon next week, thanks for sharing!
This was such a fun video to watch! Hope to see more baking session for afternoon tea’s and fun girls get-togethers!🥰🫖
I loved this everything was so beautifully made. Well done!
Oh my gosh! This looks like so much fun to eat and so much work! Kudos for making all the thing, I think I'm going to try out some of these recipes
I love how intentional you are with your cooking content ❤
the amount of preparation that went into this is crazy! hope you and your friends had a lovely afternoon tea! for the food that you make first, do you put them in the fridge until everything is ready? how does one avoid getting the refrigerator smell from getting into the food (if that makes sense)? i want to try this some day!
@IngaLam

for some of these yes! and doing last minute decoration just before servicing. the key is to wrap them up securely for no smell - cling wrap/tightly sealed containers both work!
Love all your content! The efforts you put out for this concept, 'flawless my dear'.
I love Bridgerton and I love the video on it! Great decorations and recipes!
you look GORGEOUS omg i love the makeup and outfit!!
Oh wow, maybe I'll give it a watch. You look absolutely stunning! And the food looks scrumptious
Omg I've missed your uploads! You look fantastic and the SPREAD??? It's stunning ! No notes, just flawless.
What a gorgeous spread! The food looks so good!
Oh my gosh! I have been thinking about having a Bridgerton Tea party Day in soooo long! Now I really want to! Love love love this video! 🥰💜
Back Again‼️ I can just see you doing theme dinners for these popular shows.. I can see people getting dressed up and really enjoying the event. Have you done Downton Abbey❓
You got yourself a new subscriber! This was a delightful watch and absolutely impressive.
Haha I live in Essex right near where that Lemon Curd is made! I think looking at the cake in Bridgeton, it looked like a lemon drizzle cake to me, which is a bit different and uses lemon juice with granulated sugar as a topping. It’s delicious 😍 yours looks absolutely amazing tho!

a lemon drizzle cake, I knew it!! I got too carried away 😭 but that lemon curd was too good to resist
I’m inspired! My teenagers and I have a plan to make a tea party with their friends this summer. I showed my daughter your lady finger cake and she was excited!! thanks, Inga, for the ideas.
So much attention to details. Love it!!😍❤️
The amount of effort that went into putting this video together can’t be understated. You did such a fantastic job!!
your personality and love for this series SHINES in this video--your passion shines YOU SHINE
This was utterly delightful :D Everything looked magnificent and you looked terrific in that floral dress - just a lovely experience all around !
Wow this looks amazing!! I just finished the latest season (first half) of bridgerton and you were spot on with all of the foods and drink. I love afternoon tea and no wonder it's like $40/person. I liked seeing you do mostly desserts in this video since I feel like you're more of a cook than a baker. I'm definitely more of a baker than a cook. Also, I have a minor in French and studied abroad in France, and the way you said "mille feuilles" was the English pronunciation. The French pronunciation is more like "meel-fuhie" with more of an E vowel at the beginning and an U (uh) vowel at the end
This was an absolute delight! 🥰 I'm such a fan!
Now I want to prepare an afternoon tea for my galss, you’re so talented Inga!
wow this was such an incredible spread! lowkey wishing i had a friend like you so I could try these foods
excited to watch this! hope you’re having a good day :)
LOVE THIS!!!
Please please keep posting these long videos we absolutely loveeeeee it😭❤️❤️and you're looking gorgeous as always ❤️
I just binge watched season 3 and thought it was wonderful! I actually thought it the best season of all 3! I also thought your afternoon tea was amazing!! ❤️💫🍰👸🏽🍰💫❤️
girl ur so talented wtfffff! if i tried baking any one of that it would turn out a mess lmaoooo! and ur out here baking so many different things perfectly! this is amazing!
This was all so glorious and decadent. Thank you, Inga!!! Living on a small island is mostly fabulous but I do miss having various “ethinc” markets within walking distance. As strange, or controversial, as it may be, as an American, I consider English markets as falling into that category. 😂 The best way, I’ve found, to get the perfect texture in Short Bread cookies is to use rice flower in the dough. It gives them that crisp, snappy texture, that I love in a Short Bread cookie. I got my recipe from my Australian Mom and I’ve never found a better one. ~ 250g (8oz) butter, 2 tablespoons ground rice or rice flour, ⅓ cup icing sugar, 2 cups plain flour. Rub butter into sifted dry ingredients, press ingredients together firmly, turn on to lightly floured surface, knead lightly until smooth. (This shortbread can be made in a food processor; process sifted dry ingredients with roughly chopped cold butter until ingredients cling together).
So so much work! I love u Inga!
You did a brilliant job!! They all look delicious!!
Your patience is next level! Hats off!
Very nice spread!! That's a lot of work, and I'm sure it was worth it.
That was amazing both me and my mom loved it! I will give some recipes a try ❤️ you did so good! 😭
Inga! Oh my god!!! The preparation, energy and creativity that went into making this video 🤌🏼 WOW WOW WOW!!!! Just WOW You kept me hooked to the screen for straight 38 minutes minutes!!!! Hands down the most beautiful video of yours Commendable job !!!! ❤

What a huge endeavor you've accomplished 😊 Kudos 🎉
have been so excited for this video ^^
UK person here, so the by royal appointment logo indicates it is used in the royal household. So in case The Prince of Wales (depending on when this was imported could be Charles or William) has this tea.
This was great! Loved it❤
this is so beautifully well made, and you are so glowing ingaaaaaa
Inspiring, gorgeous, abundant, appetizing, and exhausting (so much work!) Queen Charlotte cake and the Mango pudding 😋
I have not watched Bridgerton but i loved this video!!
omg an insanely amazing spread!
I haven’t even watched the show but I think this is so beautiful and impressive I can’t wait to try some of the recipes
