I played Syphon Filter 1 first time in 2001 and ever since than it has special place in my collection.I wish more than anyone for a new title on current gen consoles.

I'd settle for remasters as well. This series deserves some love

One of the most underrated series of games of all time. The stealth and level designs really set this game apart from most in the genre.

This game needs a remake. Literally.

It deserves a new version, with restyling graphic for the new generation consoles and PC. It d a big blockbuster nowadays

Nice video, it's a criminally underrated franchise. I hope 1 day will return in remake version like RE2 :) Days Gone was okay but overall far from SF and actually we cannot compare them at all.

I own all the games and still play them on a regular basis. I love the gameplay and story of them. Mainly the first 4 games. Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow could have been better.

I loved all the Syphon Filter games. Honestly they should just remake the first game. Bring back a new vision of Syphon Filter and keeping the things that made it incredible. Nowadays they are remaking almost every classic. I think if they focused on a remake of the first game it would truly be something. Recently I read that they don’t have an intention of bringing back the series, but I know we all want a new game. Especially to remember this classic. Thank you for this video.

It was the first game I've got when I got my PS1 along with WWF Smack Down. I had no idea what the game was about, but I was like "The cover looks so cool! Must be serious. I'm a teenager now, I need serious games!". Best decision I did!

Man I played the dark mirror demo on psp all the time. Never knew this was series back in the day. It was very in depth and creative for psp game.

Best game ever made in history. I wish it came back into ps5

Seriously it was an amazing game!!

Kinda sucks how Sony has this obsession with putting out blockbusters. Hope they don’t forget they got where they are by making great, fun memorable games and NOT purely blockbusters or movie-like games. Days Gone deserves a sequel as much as some of the other current IPs.

I love the Syphon Filter games. I'm not good at them though. Those games kick my ass. SF2 is my favorite. I'd love to see full-blown remakes to introduce them to a new generation before giving us fans a sequel to SF:LS where it's revealed that Gabe survived.

With metal gear all but finish and splinter cell being non existent a new syphon filter game would surely create alot of buzz and and make sony alot of money

Loved this series. Always preferred it to Metal Gear.

I will never forget the stage where Gabe has to shadow Phagan at the exhibit. JOY!

Interesting video I have 4 syphon filter games 1-2-3 on ps1 and ps2's omega strain. These were my favorites when I was young.

I remember playing the first one in 1998 in 7th grade. Man i had so much fun beating that game. I also liked the sequel. It would be cool for them to make a syphon filter for vr😊

Omega strain really needs a remake, the original game was meant to be co op only but sony wanted there to be single player included & its no more apparent than with how difficult it is solo vs with a team & how team objectives show up even in single player. If it was remade the game could get that tuning & balancing it needed

You know Sony can make this game a masterpiece since they have a great track record of games. Imagine the combination of mechanics of Re 3 remake/Re 6 and Hitman , Last of us in one game. Holy shit.

There is no game like Syphon Filter. Thirdperson shooter stealth-action hybrid with an espionage type plot. Has anyone been able to find any games like this? All I can think of are the old Splinter Cell games and some of the 007 games, but then again 007 games are 1st person and Splinter Cell is closer to the PSP era style. I've always really been into game design and if I ever dedicate myself to a project I would 100% try and emulate something like Syphon Filter. Its so special. 1, 2 & Dark Mirror are my favorite games

It is an impressive saga, hopefully the crossings continue with respect since a movie is not needed to tell the story. those well-spoken sequences couldn't be better... those guys from sony are very clever for me it's the best game since its inception on play station one. my favorite... I see it as if it were a criminology series with a lot of suspense and action (Siphon Filter)

I never liked the direction that took the game for psp, I love the 1, 2 a 3 for psx and of course the best Sypphon FIlter ever made, and the best third person shotter game of the whole fucking world, Syphon Filter The Omega fucking Strain..OMG this Syphon F is entirely perfect and the best TPS game ever made...We fan need to do something in order to bring this game back for new generation graphics and consoles...I really hope this franchise back ...

This was a good game. I had both the Original and 2. I wound up with the original because some kid I knew in high school stole a box of them from the Target store he worked at. That was over 20 years ago. I assume he stole them, because he was selling them brand new upon release for $10 each.

Sad. Imagine a crossover where the virus started from Syphon Filter which led into Days Gone

It's cool that I can play this entire franchise on my PS Vita. My dad sent me here.

Just started Dark Mirror on my ps4 last night. Great game so far.

I think Syphon Filter and Black Hawk Down solidified my adoration for the M-16.

Me and my buddy would play SF1 and SF2 together. I would complete one level and he would complete the next level and we would swap out like that. Good times.

And that's a shame. I felt the story wasn't quite complete. And I had strong respect for Garvin too.

I think it can happen remake if they are passionate about it.

it could be potentially rival the metal gear series actually, the story and the gameplay is interesting at that time, i have replayed the game like more than twenty times when i was kid, does anybody still remember the au300 mission? and the traitor chance at hospital mission.

Yeah the whole time in the hospital he was the one who killed Ramirez I still hate chance til this day. & almost killed Teresa. Good times

I mean, I love Days Gone. But it's simply not a spy game. Sure, its a sequel lore wise but they are in two different genres. I want the action/stealth/spy environment or feel back.

Logan's Shadow would've would've cool on PS3, and the PS2 port is mediocre, but I'm glad the entirety of the main series can be played on the PS2.

A new Syphon Filter isn't worth it without Gabes run cycle.

I just miss this game. Remaking this game will not put this game justice, probably a Reboot and at the same time a Remake would be more viable option.

This game has so much potential nowadays, I feel like the fluid controls from the first 3 games would be great for an online multiplayer deathmatch or battle royale, locking on to someone, unloading an m16 clip and rolling out of danger is still as exciting today as it was when I was a kid

Man I loved that game so much. I'd rather it stay dead than a garbage reboot, although a well made one would be epic there's so much potential especially with modern game mechanics.

What Happened To The SYPHON FILTER Games? Well, they failed to compete in the gaming industry and they cease from memory.

I'll never understand the low critic scores of Omega Strain. I played the original trilogy as they release back in 99-01 and Omega Strain is easily my favourite one. I loved them all, but the customisation, achievements, replayability and co-op to play with friends was so ahead of it's time. That game was unjustly rated.

Siphon filter always gave me James bond/metal gear vibes. I loved it in my youth.

I stopped gaming after Syphon Filter. When Sony brings it back I'll buy an PS5 or whatever console they make it for

They need to make another Syphon Filter because we really need a sequel after Logan's shadow for some type of continuation and to end the story we need to take out the last few bad guys in the games storyline and end it with at least Syphon Filter 7

Company's nowdays failed at making Cyberpunk for over 8 years developing a Single player game, with all the money and assets at disposal. Imagine syphon Filter remake kekw, it would be a horrible gaming faliture as almost everything is nowdays 2020 2021 2022. If you want a good game light up your PS1 and start playing SF 1 2 and 3. Have fun.
