The Lufia series wasn't really underrated, but I get that it's hard to find an underrated JRPG on the SNES... the reality is that it was pretty much the golden age of Squaresoft RPGs, and everything else paled in comparison. Honestly, if I try to think of SNES JRPGs that weren't published or developed by Squaresoft, Lufia is probably the most popular among them. Maybe Breath of Fire or Dragon Quest was more popular in Japan, but among US fans, I think anyone who was deep enough into JRPGs at the time to know of one that wasn't by Squaresoft was as likely to have played Lufia as any of the Dragon Warrior games or Breath of Fire, if not more so. It's too bad Lufia never came to Genesis/Mega Drive like they originally planned, it probably would have done better there.
I don`t know how u could add Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter on the list coz the game is shitty. Who in their right mind would like to accomulate exp and not use them just do could have half of them when u will die to a boss and start from begginning not to menssion that if u use too much of ur dragon form and get 100% its game over.
I count Onimusha 4 as an action rpg and it shames me it's not here.
Speaks to the quality of Nintendo consoles that there's a case for half of them to be crowned *Best Nintendo Console.*

Sonic Racing games today are the best in the genre. The critics were right, Astal is trash. SF Alpha 2 (Gold) for the Saturn is the best SF game to date! Sega Rally is way overrated. It's not even worth playing. I think I need to give Burning Rangers another chance. Panzer Dragoon is a decent game, but Saga really isn't. There are so many better RPGs for Saturn.

Everyone naming the entirety of it's library and somehow missing out on the game that I found most replayability on: Metal Slug 2 and 3. Still holding up strong in 2024, short duration games you can finish in a quick one hour session, enough difficulty to keep you on your toes, and loads of fun playing local coop with a 2nd player. I know they are ports, but still worth a mention.
I'd like a remaster/remake of Donkey Kong 64. It's a good collect-a-thon, but I wish we could pick up any color banana & any color coin with any Kong you want. All of the bananas get eaten by the same fat hippo who isn't a picky eater. Also having separate currency per a kong never made any sense.

if you want to play both SNES Lufia games then you need to play Lufia II first. Not just because Lufia II is a prequel but because the original Lufia starts with you playing the last battle of the previous heroes which would eventually become the ending to Lufia II which spoils a lot of Lufia II plot

Sadly, none of these games would make me want a PS5. I really wish I hadn't sold my PS4 Pro, to upgrade to PS4 Pro Pro (in a silly box). The 9th gen might be the one that kills consoles and sells gaming PCs.
Nothing sad about the Dreamcast. Some things just aren’t meant to last, or even be here long. Those were the best few years in gaming and it’s never been the same since.

The Cancelled Doom 4 has many people wanting a Doom eternal prequel that takes place during how the 1st hell on earth invasion began... we play as one of the Soldiers working along side samuel hayden to fight off the demons... with more horror style gameplay like death space

First N64 games were Mario64 and Cruis’n USA. My older brother took it out from under the Christmas tree and hid the games and console and my younger brother and I had to do a scavenger hunt to find them.
You left out one of my favorite parts of the Mystical Ninja. It had so many minigames you could play and even an arcade within the game with more games to play. Having different games within a game you're already playing was such a novel concept for the time.
