I'd rather have all three be a remake. Let the game developers get crazy in terms of creativity on what thet can do to make a remake better than what was already considered a "classic".

@@AbsoluteRandomnessYT Nah. I dont know. The Gaming Industry changed a lot. I think you cant make a Syphon Filter game without changing the DNA. This game stands for itself. A good Remaster would be the best thing ever. If you try to Remake it you will end up making a second Splinter Cell or MGS. Syphon Filter was different then these games.

I miss SF series. I grew up in the late 90s. They definitely need come back remake or sequel in alternate timelines.

I really really really (and 98 more really's) want the Syphon Filter franchise released on the PS4 as digitally remastered! By God, I played Syphon Filter 1, 2 and 3 over and over again on my PS1. Loved the storyline and the gameplay.

By porting it to PS4 it loses the one thing that made it unique, being on a handheld. Even the first one is better than Golden Abyss.

I was absolutely in LOVE with Syphon Filter The Omega Strain! It's crazy to hear that the designers were not that into it. That game was amazing at the time! It was like the original Division.

I knoowww! I can't believe how hated omega strain is! I, for one, loved it, and had a blast playing it, despite some parts being pretty BS and frustrating. The online play was awesome tho!

A Syphon Filter game for current or next gen would be nice. Either remastered or just a new one

Syphon filter and Golden abyss are masterpieces, days gone looks to be one too.. Cant wait to play it!

Metal Gear will NEVER be over...but I agree,they should bring Syphon Filter back,I only got to play Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow.

The running style in SF was so smooth for the time period. I remember playing it back in the day. I would use the taser to set people on fire lol

Did you guys actually produce/film this video or were you given it by Sony? If it's your's then I'm mightily impressed and hope you do more in this vain. Either way thanks for bringing this to us, really enjoyed it.

Uncharted Golden Abyss was a top notch Game that really had that distinct Uncharted quality to it. Bend absolutely nailed that title. The unceremoniously downfall of the Vita breaks my heart so, so much. That thing was the absolute bomb I loved every tiny detail of that handheld. Well well, rest in peace you wonderful devil of a sexy handheld-dream.

Man if Syphon Filter got a remake I'd buy it day 1, I adored the games back on PS1 and I'd love to see them come back. If MediEvil (another PS1 game I adore) can come back then maybe we can see the original Syphon Filter game come back too.

Syphon Filter was one of the first Playstation games I ever played. It honestly got me into gaming. Remember playing the demo over and over and couldn't wait to play the full game. Had so much fun with it. Would love to see it make a return in some capacity. Gabe Logan was indeed up there as one of the best protagonists imo. Certainly one of my favorites. So excited for Days Gone. Been highly anticipating it since it was shown at E3. I know the wait we had for it will all be worth it.

Syphon Filter was one of my favorites on PSP. The team did an admirable job of adapting to the limited control scheme.

Bubsy 3D is an psychological thriller in which you play as bubsy who is slowly losing his mind the further you go in the game The more he loses his insanity As he also tries to cope with the death of his family which he murdered himself in the end gets killed by his nemesis knack who also had respect for bubsy and now tries to redeem himself to let his nemesis lagecy live on That's how I remembered the game

This was a really compelling video. It has the production quality of a movie featurette but even better cause it's about video games. 😁 Not sure who did all the editing, but great job! I would love to see more of these kinds of videos. Featurette style videos on the history of certain games, game studios, or even gaming concepts.

Hoping this game does well been a fan of Bend studios for awhile.... I also loved the peak behind the curtain to hear the passionate developers talk about this title and what led to this I hope for all bigger releases as this is just not possible for every game you guys and gal's can do :). This was really terrific to get to see an hear :).

More vids like this please! Hopefully you get the opportunity to do it for Last of Us II/Tsushima etc. As for Bend's games - Loved Syphon Filter back in the day, and their handheld games really pushed what those machines could do. I have faith that Days Gone will be a late-generation gem for PS4 and wow us too. It's definitely looking interesting.

That team are great developers, I have been interested about "days gone" just because I love the portable Uncharted that they did. One of my favourite Uncharted.

Love this! Syphon Filter 1 and 2 were my faves on ps1! Never got round to playing 3 or the PSP games but I'm still going to at some point! Love golden abyss too! Hope days gone is as good as it looks!

Siphon Filter (2) had a train level before anyone else I can remember. Also, subtitled cutscenes for characters using foreign languages, a “headshots saves body armor” discipline to resourceful combat and stealth on-approach to objectives that were learned without tutorials. Its brilliance is still on my ps3, as a trilogy of excellence in one of the earliest measures of Sony-exclusive storytelling.

This was a great watch and I think Day's Gone will review and sell well I'm buying it day one 😊

Finally finished my collection all 123 PAL originals T- T. SF changed afterwards Thank you for the experience.

I grew up playing Syphon Filter on PS One, damn it was good times back then, but I doubt on Remaster ideas, it was good back then but you've got to face it, same mechanics nowadays wouldn't find success, so in my opinion the series should stay in our hearts but not break devs hearts with low sales.
