Once you get to the Gascoigne fight you can cheese him on the stairs by leading him up them, running right past his lame booty, then standing about halfway along the stairs on the ground beside them. He gets stuck on the stairs if you did it right. You can sit there and just axe that freako the entire way to nil while he basically stands there and takes it.

Omg you are just like me bro!
I remember getting Driver at elementary school, and like Dan, I was just driving around the cardboard cities. Until I found out some guy in my class had actually beaten the tutorial. So I became obsessed with beating it and spent hours just trying to figure out how to do it. 60 seconds is barely enough to be able to do everything on that list, unless you combine them. Start with a burnout, go full throttle against the opposing wall, and smash the breaks (avoid crashing into the wall) to cover both speed and break test. Back your car up, holding the handbreak in any direction to do the reverse 180. Keep driving forwards, hold breaks, while holding gas in any direction so you spin first 180 and then 360. Drive between all columns on one side of the garage to do the slalom and then finish by driving around the outer edge of the garage one full lap - and then you're done.
So can I conclude by nathan's absence, that he is just brilliant at anything he plays?
My brother and I used to play Driver for hours on the free roam mode. Good times.

Watching this and crying during Rosie's part. Haven't laughed that hard in ages. I think it was the comment in the background that really got me "stop saying Schom, I have to subtitle this" 😂😂😂 great video
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine made so happy for hours and hours when I was little and loved replaying it on the PS3.
I really like how Rob begins to talk as if it was a AA meeting 😂😂😂 I mean, accepting that you have a problem is the first step.
Mean bean machine is awesome, I can't stop playing it on the Sega megadrive classics. You're great people, honestly, because you give me a chance to hear about these kind of odd games that I like, thanks.
it does my heart good to see someone play more and eventually get better, it took me 6 years when i was a teen to get good at devil may cry, i simply couldnt put the controller down, but recently ive surpassed myself in style change, make sure you practice style change after each bloody palace level run, thats how i did it.
Rosie is so adorable. I just have a huge smile on my face the entire time she is talking.
AMAZING SUBTITLES. I almost peed myself watching this one, excelent work as always guys keep it up
Rosie is just too adorable. schom xD
I FEEL FOR YOU, DAVID! I suck at FIFA 19 too and I'm not really the biggest football fan but I love playing Career Mode. I don't know why but it is so therapeutic to manage a team and them help them make it to the top. Hahaha.
I appreciate Dan's excellent subtitle work during Rosie's bit!
You should totally do that driver level! Live stream it! It would be a riot! Nate screaming at the screen and Dave explaining how he's ok with not passing the challenge.
I love how the “neeowww” was put in decreasing font sizes lol Another great video guys!
The chick at the end made me laugh so much. The mild trolling at the end was good too. It shows such great comradeship among them. Great show.
Driver!? Saving the president from an assassination, in the rain, on a time-limit, driving a limo. One of the hardest final-levels in gaming. Every mission you beat gave you a stylish instant-replay of the mission. Reflections cut their teeth on world-building with these games before Division. Also, see Stuntman for PS2. Each set of levels (on-the-set) of a handful of action movies, taking your best stunts and mixing them into a CG trailer of the movie. Brilliant stuff. Great vid guys!
The amount of these videos I've binged the past few days during the quarantine is crazy! I don't even have a PlayStation 😂🤷♂️
I don’t know why, but every time I see you guys upload I am instantly in a better mood. Thank you👍
Sonic & Knuckles when I was a child. I can't really remember anymore but I think I never saw anything that came after the first zone. I was so terrible at it but still I played it over and over again.
Love that subtitle for NEooow at 18:17
Driver had another really fun mode that I played for hours. It started you in the hilly part of the San Fran map with the highest wanted level possible. It was madness! You just tried to last as long as possible.
The subbing of "neeoww" at 18:17 was brilliant XD
Wish you guys made a video about the Jak and Daxter series... Such a throwback and such a vibrant game with unique story, art, mythology, and a fun game overall. I'd love to see a video on it some day. Or a play through
Dont worry Rob, I get Cs and Ds but I still love the game
Driver's Tutorial was the best time of my childhood. Ok not the best time, but the best part of Driver anyways, way to short though. Loved it. Ok the driving afterwards, destroying the cops, doing jumps over the bridges was all fun too.
Thank you Rosie for mentioning Mean Bean Machine! Was hoping someone would use it as a comparison 😆
Doctor robotnics mean bean machine is amazing! Still stuck on the boss who looks like an angry Patrick Star
Oh, Rob. It's the recoil of the guns that supposedly keeps you in the air. Love the channel and pretty much everything you guys do! Keep it up :)
I completed driver when it came out but it was insanely hard, the last level had the FBI chasing after you as you tried to reach a tunnel (at least I remember it being a tunnel), but they ramped the difficulty to around 100/10 and those Crazy FBI drivers were nuts, rammed me all over the place. Loved that game.
Love to see you guys stream Driver with Dan and finally see what's behind that tutorial curtain
Me about nearly every game I play. I know I suck, okay? That's why I play on Easy or use guides or buttonmash or grind until my character is ridiculously overpowered. That's how I have fun with them. You can keep your salt, my dudes, while I sip on my sugary cocoa in peace.
The Tetrisy bit of has made this my favorite Tuesday Checklist. Schom is now my favorite onomatopoeia
I used to watch my brother play Need for Speed on our Gamecube growing up, and when we got one of the Driver games on our gameboys, I beat the tutorial with some of the knowledge, and other just obstenance.
Totally agree with Driver - my GOD that was the toughest tutorial ever. I actually had to get a friend to come and do it for me so I could play the other levels. I then sucked completely at that and went back to free roam. Thankfully, they got rid of that in the other games.
With ref to Driver. The tutorial was the SECOND hardest thing in the game. The last mission was the hardest!! ("Nice drivin' Son!") :D

That last mission still haunts me. Slippy roads and much faster cars chasing you, but I did it. Where's my medal? I feckin' earned one after that...
Great work on the subtitles
It's ok Rosie, your not the only one who he played mean bean machine. That brought back my childhood
Mean bean machine was the game I was thinking of when you mentioned Pyuo. I loved that game :)
Driving around the city in Driver was great fun.
I honestly gotta say guys, you are without a doubt one of the best/honest gaming channels I know. and this is knowing that your litteraly Sony reaching out to the gamer community, and you cant say "bad" things about playstation..(ps4 player myself).....still one of my favorite gaming channels.....just cause you guys are awesome, and please never stop making new videos :) Ps: pleeeease have a livestream, of "getting the F%&//%¤% out of the garage i Driver" :p
Dave, I'm the same way with Madden. I only passively like American Football but find myself loving Franchise mode on Madden games even though I'm bad at it.
Phantom will always hold a special place in my heart as the first "wall" I ever encountered in a videogame ever. Yian Kut Ku comes in a close second.
Yeah! Do that Driver thing! I must have been 10 or 11 when I played it and I completed the freaking thing, but I remember asking my brother for help 😁 You were not alone in that slalom doubt Dan! 🤣

Blazblue. I suck at the multi combos but I just love all the characters.
This is me at Fighting games(Street Figher,Tekken etc.)
There is a campaign behind that tutprial, I passed it. I would have all marked off but the slalom thing. I got it by accident but it was trial and error. Loved driver
How can you not love Rosie 7 million times more than the one who left? She is absolutely adorable and it's so hard to not smile while she's talking.
It wasn't just me that couldn't get past the tutorial in Driver!!! Thanks Dan. I don't feel so rubbish now.
I love this video! Passion for something, especially video games which are meant originally to be entertainment, is far more important than skill. I'll admit there's a lot of games I suck at that I love, there's a lot more games I'm reasonably good at that I love and there's pretty much no games I'm brilliant at that I love. I love certain games in easy mode and that's fine 😁

Novels ? Are they good ?
It took me a day or two to complete the car park tutorial in Driver & it drove me close to rage quitting. Even worse than that is the fact that I lived in a bedsit at the time & the person in the room below mine still couldn't get past it after two weeks, how do I know that I hear you ask. . . well he played with his tv volume quite loud. I could tell by the tyre screeching coming through my floor what part of the test he was on. after a few weeks I offered to get him past the tutorial & thankfully he eagerly accepted my offer. I didn't do it to be a good, friendly & helpful neighbour. I did it to save my sanity & preventing me from knocking on his door & smashing his PlayStation because I was sick of the noise lol
No prob Rob as long as you enjoy the game and learning its mechanics, then it'all good!
Dan really just blew my world wide open with that Driver tutorial because I also didn’t know it was just a tutorial 😳
You should do the Driver tutorial...I did but could not beat the last mission, driving the President's limo. Would love to see the end, lol.
That's my dinner playlist. Tuesday evening just got better.
That puyo puyo thing reminds me of puzzle fighter, excellent game of teenage years.
That driver game I do recall as being so very difficult. You had to plan it out to do it all in the time to cover the inevitable mistakes you'd make.
Omg at Driver, this game was amazing. I can't believe he never got to try the president run final mission
OMG, first time i've seen the late 90's puyo-puyo interface! [washing tear away with my arm]
I had that exact problem with Driver. Literally the only reason I knew what was after the car park level was because my buddy came over to my house and did the car park level in 3 tries. After that, I just watched him play (and gush about) the game.
Mortal Kombat/Injustice/Tekken/Street Fighter basically any fighting game. Also, battle royales and any online shooters
I can totally relate with the driver struggle. I was like 10 years old first time I did the garage test and I failed like.... Well you get it
I hear you Rob. I'm exactly the same with Devil May Cry, love the series but not that great at it. 😅 Still looking forward to playing it this week 😍
The Driver story was hilarious 🤣🤣
I'm from Bristol too, never really supported the rovers or city tho

I love bloodborne, even tho i got all the way to the Hemwick chanel lane (8+hrs) before I figured out i could repose (perry) enemies. Also I still have yet to complete a boss battle solo or to vanquish a hostel invader (NPC or not) sadly, but i love it.
