@@stevenewsom3269 Not every goty contender has to reinvent the wheel mate and past winners have shown exactly that! We just need a great experience regarding narrative, rock solid gameplay mechanics and an immersive world filled with meaningful content. This seems like a Jack of all Trades kinda game, I'll reserve judgement until after it releases, but somehow I already know it will appeal to me because it's just my type of game!

@@UPHENOS Well the astonishing lack of creativity present in the video game industry, a medium with nearly limitless potential, should not be rewarded. I think the gameplay could be fun, but the story looks like an über-cringe "muh family" one to me...

The freakers look similar to the infected from I am legend the movie.

@@shapsugh1864Well they're both dreary and gloomy, they are both post-apocalyptic and neither look like they're breaking ground. The only distinguishing feature of Days Gone is that the protagonist is named after a religious minister and an apostle, and he fancies himself a biker.

I can't wait for this game. It's been getting negative and positive reviews but overall I think this game is going to be amazing and it is definitely a day one play for me. The lack of single-player, open world games with NO MICROTRANSACTIONS swayed me even more to buy this game. The hard work that was put into this game by bend studios shows their passion for days gone and they deserve the respect AAA studios receive.

Great game! I’m just playing it now for the first time. I originally stayed away from this game because it got bad reviews at first. In my opinion, I think this is the biggest underrated game out right now!

I m playing days gone for 4 to 5 days now. It's already among my top five. The realism, storytelling, surrounding, and game mechanics are LOVE. I played like 30+ games including games of the 2000s.

CAPTAIN BLACK rockstar, over 700 employees and a devs team that has been making huge open world games since the past 15years. Sony bend a studio smaller than 200 people and days gone is their first AAA open world game ever. It would take alot of time and work for them to make the game polished.

Only downside I noticed for this game I didn’t see a single head,arm,leg get decapitated... Like y’all gone show all that blood when you shoot em in the head but you know making a Freakers head get blown off is a no no?

I want the death mechanic to be really unforgiving because it's not the same when you know when you die nothing will happen and you just respawn

I'm sorry but they're still zombies to me. 28 Days Later and World War Z have zombies that came from an infection. Even The Last of Us has zombies, just because they don't use the word doesn't mean that's not what they are. A chicken is still a bird, just a different type of bird from a crow or a pigeon. Infected, zombies, Freakers. They all fall under the same umbrella

Totally disagree with you, an undead ghoul is just that, nothing more! It roams and eats! A living, breathing creature on the other hand, even though as hostile and dangerous as these freakers, is an entirely different story. There is a lot of storytelling potential here, freakers can potentially evolve, apply tactics, become smarter, learn, adapt, maybe even be cured or reasoned with at some point, maybe in the form of an aberration which deviates from the rest! If you've seen I am Legend you can understand what I'm talking about. The devs insist on differentiating these creatures from zombies for a reason and I hope they show us exactly why they envisioned such a divergence from the norm.

I hope enemy numbers dont dwindle after the main story is done. I hate finishing a game and have nothing to use my arsenal on but an empty map. Like in Far Cry 5
