Clear and simple. Easy to understand

I am SO glad this man explains it the way he does. He makes it simple to understand. So many other videos on this exact subject use such HUGE philosophical words that a layman (such as myself) gets lost in the verbal battlefield of them trying to explain it. Andrew Farley keeps it simple and to the point. GREAT job on his part!

I think fear and trembling means to be serious about it, not scared of what God will do to you if you dont. That would contradict the verse about perfect love casting out fear.

Is this an answer to arminians?

There are warnings throughout the Bible for us Christians for a reason. People please don't be deceived. We have to do our part, our part to make the choice of am I going to do this or not to do this.

I’m confused concerning the language immediately proceeding that scripture, it says to obey. I’m also wondering what Paul meant by being poured out as a drink offering? Thank you for explaining the scripture. Sometimes it gets so hard to understand things.

To obey is believing in Jesus Christ... The Greek word is Pisteuo and means just that to obey is faith and believing in Christ period. Hope this helps.

Don’t fear who can kill you but fear who can put your body and soul in hell. He is trying to say to not fear God? The beginning of the fear of God is the beginning of truth and understanding. Not exact word for word I need to fully memorize them but that’s what it says mostly not trying to add or subtract anything but this doesn’t add up to me 😭

This is an incorrect explanation of fear and trembling. We should still fear and trmble at the fact the living God is in us. We don’t want to be like the guy who lied in acts 5. Don’t have partial faith believe everything Jesus said and did.

Acts 5 is another highly misinterpreted portion of the bible. The preacher clearly just explained Phil 2. You can listen to my message on Acts 5, I posted the link under this comment to see what the bible really says

Why assume Ananias and Sapphira were believers?

the gospei is not that god likes or loves you....thats not the commission mate.....the gospel is the good news about jesus christ.
