This is in fact the Hyte y60 with a screen mod. The Y70 didn't exist when we built this :)

Its a LCD Panel mounted to the Side Glass. Connected via USB C and HDMI to the computer so you can use it as an actual extra Screen in Windows

@@v6valkyrie there is a little control panel coming with the lcd panel. There u connect usb c and micro hdmi and from there u connect it with the motherboard ( usb ) and the gpu ( hdmi )

@@v6valkyrie USB C connects from the lcd control panel to your motherboard. The HDMI connects as well from your lcd control panel then to your GPU (hdmi). It basically works as a mini monitor inside your case so it’s connected to your GPU. It’s like a second screen.

🍻🧐 This is actually a y60 with a screen mod. This was built before the y70 came out. I love y70, it's an awesome case and have built in it a few times.

we're definitely adding the Y60 to our model lineup. really impressive case and quite good to build in as well. we're also looking at adding your Revolt 3 case for our SFF stuff. We fit a Strix OC 3060 Ti in one not long ago which is impressive for a case with that small a footprint b/c that's an absolutely beastly big GPU.

I can't wait to build mine

Great build, I would say that the vinyl thingy you put between the side and front panels could be a bit longer to fit, but otherwise looks fantastic

Slowly gathering components for a y60 build… first build attempt since 1996. That pc is gorgeous, you have skills!!! Two asks: I’m worried about temps as I got a sapphire nitro 7800 with trips slots, I couldn’t make out a bracket, did you use one and two, did you replace the stock fans under the gpu? Thanks in advance and congrats on that beauty.

I bought then returned the y60. It's a really neat looking case, but being that the gpu is vertical mount, it gets waaayy to close to the glass not allowing good airflow. And with the rate gpus are going, they are just gonna keep getting bigger.

Hope your card isn't to close to the glass, big triple slot cards get suffocated in the y60 cause they end up pushed right up against the glass side panel.

We were worried about that too until we tested it ourselves. There are 2 big intake fans underneath the GPU that blow fresh air straight into the GPU. We've put a 4090 in this case before and temps have been good surprisingly!

@@AlexanderPCs1 that's good, I heard if there are cooling issues some of them can be mitigated by swapping the stock 120mm fans for 140mm ones for increased airflow.

Great advice! I have also seen marketing for modified (drilled/vented) side panels for the Y60.

yes! there are 2 fans underneath the gpu that blows fresh cool air right through the cooling fins of gpu. Temps are good in. 👍

How good is this PC? I was looking at one recently. Looks awesome but I know nothing about water cooling etc , so you need to maintain it? Clean out? I've heard horror stories.

it's the internet. you can find horror stories about literally anything. AIO liquid coolers are reliable if you keep them clean.

we do lots of screen mods, so this one was pretty straightforward - just a matter of finding a display that fit the space correctly. the vertical GPU mount is actually integrated into the Hyte Y60 case. It's truly a REALLY amazing case to work in and we're going to be doing a lot more with Hyte cases going forward as we've been very impressed by their stuff.

It is a Windows native screen and we found at one of our distributors. Not sure where else you can get one. If you do find one, just make sure its a windows native screen and it will work.

2 hidden at the Bottom and 2 on side are intake. The single 1 on the other side and the 3 at the top are exhaust. That way you get an even amount of intake and exhaust fans. (4 intake - 4 exhaust) there’s 8 fans in total

We used AIO tube covers.

I feel like the screen blocks the reason for the glass, which is to look at the components. Your GPU is going to be starved for air...
