I love this case. Got the Hakos Baelz edition and it's beautiful. Keep in mind that this case has limited expansion options as the rest of the mounting for any PCIe cards are exclusively low-profile mounting only. So if you have a capture card or any other kind of PCIe card you want to install, you better pick one that can be installed in a low-profile slot. I wish Hyte had at least left some sort of option to install an additional full sized card. Even if it was additional vertical mounts with riser.

I am building my 1st PC in over 20 years. We used floppy discs and IDE cables, the last time I built one. What would be REALLY helpful to us old timers and I am certain to those looking to do their 1st build, a walk through of cables and what goes where on a motherboard. The fact that they may need a Fan splitter for ex. The MB I bought, has 1 CPU Fan header, but the cooler has 2 CPU fans, so I sent for a splitter from Amazon. It gets here Wed. (DeepCool AK 620) There are 3 cables coming from the front panel of the case, I am not able to identify, so I do not know where they should be plugged in. (BeQuiet PureBase 500DX. I am fairly certain where one goes simply by the uniqueness of its end connector, though what it is for...I have no idea) Fans? OMG. The last PC I built, had 2 fans, 1 of which was contained within the power supply. The other of course, was on the CPU. USB headers? My MB has either 3 or 4 different types of USB connectors, each of which (I assume), must be plugged into the corresponding USB header on the MB. Which is which????????? (NZXT N7 B550 FTR) A purely..."here's the basics" kind of detailed, 30 minute walkthrough...would be HUGELY helpful to neophytes and returning builders like myself. For ex your 2 yr old video about what to do before you build, in bench testing components? WOW was that spot on helpful. And your what to do after you build video re drivers, XMP, etc etc? Yep. Just what the doctor ordered. Equally true for your "how to build a system monitor" using the raspberry pi monitor devices...brilliant, concise, and follow these steps to success simple. Happy holidays to you, your crew and all of your families! You put out some great stuff folks. Keep it up. You ARE very much appreciated!!!

What a coincidence, my last build was before Dell bought Alienware, probably even before Y2K was to end us all... Working on rebuilding a circa 2006 Alienware with an i5-13600, 3060ti and 32GB of DDR5 on a Z790 MB, little by little it's certainly all coming back but there are without doubt things I am having to stop and reread to make sure I'm not pooching it (and the PS modular cables are certainly among the top, RGB and Fan controls a close second!). All good ideas, a quick and dirty break down comparing building now versus when you started Jay would probably land square in the target zone for us "Grump Old Dudes" ;)

Connect your USB leads to your USB headers....which is a USB 2.0, 3.0, 3,1; or does it matter, and if it doesnt, someone please say as much. Also, and this is a YT failing, it is very difficult to search thru older videos looking for something specific. What plugs into where on the MB and god forbid what happens if I plug a Type "X" into a Type "Y" header? The case, comes with 3x140mm fans. I moved the front fan to the top and installed 3 Lian Li ST-120s to the front. The Lian Li kit has a Fan bus, but not an ARGB bus, and the Lian Li fans are ARGB as is the front of the case. So after getting ready to install the MB in the case but 1st reviewing what cables need to connect where; I ordered an ARGB bus which should get here tomorrow. I do however have, 2 or 3 cables from the front panel, I simply have no clue where to connect to the MB. 1 as I said, has a unique looking connector which really only matches 1 spot on the MB, so process of elimination tells me that is for the USB3G2C_1 header. Now WHICH USB connector on the front panel that is? pffft, I have absolutely no earthly idea.

I'm not sure how it'd look exactly, but I'd really really love an ITX version of this case. Just, same concept, but smaller.

Looks awesome!! I bought the case because of your review on it and its insane. Also you can remove the middle glass panel after removing the other two. There are two screws up top and two on the bottom and it pops out really easily. : )

Beautiful build Jay, love it ! The PSUs getting smaller and smaller isn't because of some improvement in efficiency/quality, your HX1200 is top notch actually. They achieve those small sizes by making the PSU's fan profile much more aggressive ^^

First build idea that popped into mind when I saw the Y60 was a terrarium themed build. Was thinking an all white build with white led fans and some blue in the bottom to mimic water, and then fill it with fake plants and vines and such. It's a really cool looking case that I feel can bring some fresh inspiration to PC build

I bought this case a few months ago and was definitely surprised at the lack of accessories that came with the case and the cheap plastic "cable ties\zip ties" that came with the case as well. My last case which was corsair 5000D came with a bunch more sh!t and quality cable ties and a fan hub and it was about $50 less. I was definitely disappointed to say the least and the 3 fans provided have 3 pin connectors on them so basically belong in the trash so I replaced the 2 fans on the bottom with noctua NF-A 14 ippc 3000 fans and a aorus120 in the back. Plus there's NO RESET BUTTON on the front of the case either. IDK maybe I got spoiled with corsair but I definitely know I got disappointed by this case

I've just got the red version of this case. I live in the UK and I've only ever seen it on general sale once, for about a day, and I regretted not clicking the buy button when I saw it that day, it actually took me 5 months after that day to get my hands on a new Y60 and I had to resort to eBay to get a KZreadr review sample. So sad. I previously had the Lian Li O11 Dynamic and while I have so much appreciation for that case, the Hyte Y60 is on another level. Having a gen 4 vertical GPU riser, the hidden basement with fans, a bracket for your AIO in the roof, and even the extra 120mm fan spot on the back are huge improvements, and the whole aesthetic of the case makes it look so much cleaner than the O11. I had doubts when I was dismantling my old setup, that I was making a mistake, but everytime I look at my system now (aside from it being dust free again) I smile at how fantastic it looks.

I was hoping that I'd be able to upgrade later, and you've shown me the proof of concept! I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. It was my first build, and I'm so friggin happy with it.
