    I bought one 2 months ago in black. I absolutely love it. The only thing I see in the future as GPU's become more slot space hungry, this case will be ignored. I feel that you might have to make the next gen even more wider by being able to place a 140mm fan in the back it just might be wide enough for them thick GPU's. That being said, the case begs for custom Water Cooling because of the 3 tempered glass panel display and how much room for the vertical GPU mount. None the less, you guys made a great case. Definitely keeping it for a long while, unless you come out with a better version.

    The white version looks super clean and professional. Honestly I love the size of it and the thought gone into the case. It looks great and is very functional, and everything isn't cramped together, and there is more room in the case, thus more room to disparate heat. This would be the perfect case to teach someone how to build a computer. Personally I am going to replace all the fans with rgb fans. I wish it gave u an option to install fans on the top, so there were fans on the top, bottom and back, maximizing air flow.

    I've had this case for a few weeks now, love it. This case will run a bit hot unless you fill every slot you can with a fan. In which case my OC'd 4090 runs at 40ºC idle and 71ºC at 100%. While vertically mounted, an enormous GPU like that is just centimeters away from the glass. Point is, it will fit any GPU you put in there. This is my third build and I have never had a pleasant experience doing cable management until now. Plenty of hiding room and tons of cable tie brackets. The included fans are a bit on the loud side so you might want to consider replacing them, but totally not an issue if you have to hear coil whine from your GPU all day anyway :P

There isn't a great outlet for them to escape to, should they get trapped in there.

    Have to say this is great content. I've rebuilt several laptops over the last 15 years i.e. swapping faulty screens, motherboards, upgrading cpus (this was before they started soldering them to the motherboard), ram, screen cables, screens, hard drives etc. Only problem I've found is the palm rest removal to be more difficult on new laptops due to cheaper plastics causing them to crack if not careful. Weirdly though, I always thought building a pc would be extremely difficult in comparison. The fact that you build different gaming computers for beginner/advanced builders/gamers and showing the different budgets for builds whilst getting the best results is fantastic. Well done, Sir. Keep up the great content.

Weird corner to paint to buyer into instead of keeping it all red/black. Also a quick suggestion, you should get a soft lighting box, or maybe try raising your ring light higher. 3080+ will struggle, its the fan noise more than anything, your GPU will struggle. Most similar cases like Lian li mini run the GPU at 64, the Hyte Y60 is closer to 75-80 degrees. I think the main reason is, It's too close to the glass, and when you get a 4090 it will be even worse. I fitted the card horizontally as a test and it works very well, 10 degrees lower, CPU a little higher, Hyte just need to make a bracket

You'd need a case big enough that there's a significant gap between the card and the side of the case in order to negate that. It just adds too much resistance to the air flow with it right by the side of the case.

Quick trip to people that know more about those settings than me fixed it within a day but they said it was really annoying. Just a warning for anyone using the new Z690 boards.

    Should’ve gone with a push-pull config in the rad, which would hugely benefit the CPU and even the GPU. Getting fresh air drectly from outside instead of just pulling through all of that resistance (rad) make no sense; would be better even if you only went with push, but push-pull is better, considering all the space between the fans and the GPU.

  • @farmeunit

    @@farmeunit Push=pull doesn't differ too much from push, but it does a lot from pull. If you set some fans to push fresh air from outside into the rad, tha air stream will be much thicker and will have much higher velocity. With an only-pull config, it'll get the little air it can from the other side of the rad - tbh at that point, the majority of if will be just the hot air the fins. Reason why push-pull would make a big difference not only for the CPU, but also to the other components, since the push will get fresh air and the pull will blow said fresh-ish (it's still the air post-rad) to the other components. It made a bigdifference to my GPU, which is set as exhaust on a Kraken G12: lowered temps by about 5C under load (total of 40-42) adding some pull the the CPU rad, while with push only my GPU was 46C and the CPU did not see big improvements except for 1 or 2C. But for sure wouldn've been bad if I only had pull intake (O11D).

    My case makes more sense I feel like, the GPU + MB gets fresh air from 3 fans on the front and bottom of the case, and the CPU pulls fresh air in the back, then I have 3 fans that vent up through the top (heat rises naturally). This GPU is not getting very good air flow in my opinion. It's got a mixed bag of hot air from the giant CPU cooler blowing hot air into the case, and the fresh air from the bottom. That back fan is way out numbered... 5 fans (2 for CPU + 3 on GPU) vs 1 tiny little ventilation fan in the back.

  • @BaneSIlvermoon

    @BaneSIlvermoon

    Жыл бұрын

    @TheJomamaboy you never want to intake from the top. You lose too much efficiency like that as the hot air in the case naturally gravitates towards the top of the case. Top fans should always be exhaust so the lower density of the hot air helps them do their job.

  • @BaneSIlvermoon

    @BaneSIlvermoon

    Жыл бұрын

    Agreed. Was my immediate thought as soon as he showed the case off. Too many openings, bad for numerous reasons. It greatly reduces the static pressure of the air flow since air can go just about anywhere in the case. It reduces the air flow you want to the critical components. It makes it difficult to achieve positive pressure, and will suck in dust from all of those many openings. (Although if you have enough intakes, it may compensate for some of that by forcing far more air in than is being exhausted.) The one positive it brings is that it's very unlikely to have any pockets of dead air. (Though the location of your fans becomes far more important then) So you'll have at least a little air flow everywhere. But that doesn't make up for all of the negatives. You don't WANT air going everywhere and coming in from everywhere in a case. Might as well just build with an open frame case instead. If I were going to build with this case I'd aim for far more air being pulled in than exhausting out, with the goal of having the positive pressure keeping fresh air quickly flowing out every opening in the case.
