Very few people seem to understand what leftover means. She isn't scraping off the plates people eat off of, she means the ingredients left over from making the previous meal. For example if she used half a pound of ham for a recipe but has a full ham she will use the other half for something else. Its called reducing waste. Its essential on a ship where there is limited room for food waste, limited ingredients, and you can't just dash to the store to buy more food.

All I see are nice comments??????? 😊 unless they been removed im not sure what u mean
I love leftovers in burritos or on a flatbread pizza. That’s normally what I make for my family on a Friday evening. Last week I used some chorizo and beans leftover with chopped tomatoes and peppers and scrambled eggs with pepper jack cheese and wrapped it up into toasted burritos with guac on the side!
I do this too! My fave is when I have left over fried rice, the egg burritos the next morning are BOMB with that mixed in
It’s really good you don’t waste anything 😊
You do the greatest videos. I love the way you are always coming up with the new ideas.
That looks sooo good! And made me realize that crisping them is my missing piece!
Wow! Dunno how I forgot that you feed the crew too! That’s a lot of mouths to cater to. You’re awesome! Considering the hours you work, I hope you’re well compensated . Cheers
Loved these! Your video is amazing and I hope you don't take these comments to heart because the video got to the worse side of youtube. Its extremely clear a lot of these people don't know squat about cooking, required hygiene practices and don't understand the dynamic onboard that yacht. Keep doing what you're doing in order the limit the amount of waste because I sooooo get you on that. When I worked in a kitchen, it pained me to be throwing away so much food so seeing you repurpose it is refreshing.
That’s actually really informative. Thank you.
Brilliant chef.
Hmmm I’m doing this at home all the time. I constantly “repurpose” foods and the family doesn’t know the difference. I love that food doesn’t get wasted as much. I feel like a magician!
I love this thank you! Food waste makes me so upset 😭
Yum! So creative
They say breakfasts used to be the leftovers of the previous day’s dinner. Why not? I hate wasting food too. It is so much work and resources to create food and tossing it to garbage is a total waste.
And I LOVE the presentation! I’m the person that would grab the burrito and eat the lettuce on the bottom too.
I love zucchini bread. Its a great thing to make when you have leftover zucchini or just to make it if you are tired of banana bread 😊

True- I don’t even like zucchini, but zucchini bread= delish!👌
you're a total badass. the work you do is absolutely amazing. and thanks for promoting a more sustainable kitchen.
You are inspirational. I love that you use leftovers instead of just throwing them out. Everyone should do more of this!

I love your channel because you are more than just a great chef. You are so creative and make the plates look so beautiful as well as I'm sure they taste fabulous.

THANK YOU SO MUCH ABBY FOR USING LEFTOVERS I CAN'T STAND PEOPLE THAT WASTE AND THROW AWAY FOOD!! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS, AND ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR COOKING IDEAS!!💕💕💕💕😋😋😋😋
This has been one of my favorite channels for a while. I think because it helps me run my home kitchen with similar efficiency/functionality. Pretty funny that after years of following, I now live in an area chock full of yachts in the summer. 😂
Impressive!! Looks great! I would love to see the sleeping areas on that yacht, is there a video already? I couldn't find one.

Looks way better than the camp food I had. I was disappointed because I had a friend taught to be a camp cook by a good French chef, and worked with a different retired chef from France who cooked at camps. I'd love to work on boats you cook at.
You are amazing!! Love your shorts, I never get bored with them. You have a great life.
You are so talented 😊
Please do more of these videos!! I love following you,and I also think you are beautiful btw!! Sending love from Santa Rosa ❤
Great idea to save food waste as well as it looks delish!
That's excellent. I did the same for my family. I've been cooking since I was 10 and still enjoy learning new recipes. Love your meals and ideas.
I love everything about this! Thank you for sharing! ❤🎉
So talented!
Way to go with repurposing things and adding them to another meal to not waste anything. But to come up with those ideas, you are marvelous.🙌🔥🥰🙌👀
You make everything look so easy and good 😊
Attachef! You do a good job!
I think we need more chefs like you. Reinventing to reduce waste. I wish I was able to do that.

Thanks for sharing and reminding us that we also need to think of creative ideas to recycle and save on waste. ❤❤❤❤
Looks great chef
You are amazing 👏
This is a real Chef. Limited resources, unlimited imagination. Remember the one on Below Deck that COULDN'T MAKE PANCAKES😂.
Repurposing is good. I turned leftover orange chicken into orange chicken soup (fabulous!) and pound cake into bread pudding. The best I ever made! I'd actually make pound cake just for the bread pudding.
Squirt sour cream has been a game changer for me 😂
Your presentation is outstanding.
I love your approach! I've found that most of the time it's all in the soup!!! 🙏❤️👍😊
Thank you for being thoughtful and not wasting food. 🥹❤️😍❤️
Thank you for not wasting. So much fun can be made from leftovers

Restaurants use leftovers as well. Not necessarily from the line but the portions that never made it out.
You must have some Scottish ancestry in you cuz I can't stand a waste food ,same way I think it's great what you're doing!

What makes you assume it’s fake cheese? She doesn’t show the labeling. It just looks like sliced cheddar or American cheese to me, neither of which are fake cheese.
It's motivational to stop my lazy waste. You taught me how much I wasn't freezing. I learned so much more thaws fine! Thanks.

Thanks Teacher Chef.
As long as it's hot warm delicious I don't care if it's leftovers 😋
God bless your heart for not throwing away food.
You’re a G for this!
YOU are AMAZING 😍🤩 Oceans of respect from Florida 🌴🏖️🌴
Thank God. Someone that gets it. Why waste food when there is so many people on this earth and less farms for food being produce. Hats off to you!!👍🌸
Very few people seem to understand what leftover means.
I love your cooking style, I have taken many of your ideas and recreated them. Your innovative and cook delicious foods!
I love your way of thinking. I detest waste as well. Kudos to you!
A lot of times leftovers have more flavor than when you make them that day
Everything you cook looks amazing ! Love learning some new ideas .
I can appreciate that you use your leftovers to create a whole new meal.
Wow you can even make leftovers look delicious.
