People tend to listen to "authorities" for what they believe. Researching is hard work, and not everyone knows how to do it. I think this is why it's important to go to the Best Teacher - The Holy Spirit. We don't have to be learned, scholarly people to know. Thank you for all you do Joel!

I was taught pre-trib in the 80's but my own reading of the Scriptures led me to think otherwise. Thank you for doing the hard work of researching what the Early Church writers believed. God bless you.

Jesus mentioned Days of Noah which is ESCAPE then Judgment Jesus ALSO mentioned Days of Lot, which is ESCAPE then Judgment Post tribbers, with a straight face push Judgment then escape, which isn't an escape at all. That would be a rescue after all the bad things happen...

@@davidryan7486 God shut the door of the Ark. Lot LEFT the cities. It's NOT a rescue. Jesus rescued us from sin because we are GOING THROUGH IT. We neeeeeed a rescue. Noah and Lot were NOT rescued from their "rain". They both had an ESCAPE method!

I was taught the pre-trib rapture in every church I went to. Most churches I'm aware of teach it. When I realized the truth, I felt very sad. The church has been deceived on this topic, as well as the "once saved, always saved". Most of my friends are pre-trib and will not even listen to FAI. They are in for a rude Awakening when they ultimately learn the truth. I am so thankful God opened my eyes to this truth. Thank you for your teaching!

Same here, I never even heard about a post Tribulation rapture before about a year and a half ago. When I heard it, I didn't want to believe it, but hearing and reading the New Testament I couldn't deny the truth. The pre trib rapture is not true. My family won't hear it, but I got my husband to see the truth and he no longer believes in pre trib either.

If you can admit there's a separate Resurrection for the church, maybe your friends could admit the saints get the First Resurrection John 6 when talking about unbelievers rapture Jesus says at the Last day four times Revelation 20 shows two Resurrections One is called the First Resurrection One is at the Last day 1 Corinthians 15 Paul says the Resurrection of the dead four times before verse 51 Behold I show you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. @@davidryan7486 Revelation 1:5-6 says the Blood of Jesus makes us Kings and Priests. Go read it right now if you don't believe me. Then go to Revelation 4:4 and look at how they are dressed!!! Like kings! Then go over to Revelation 5:9-10. The Elders see all seals opened in Heaven, they are redeemed by the blood of Jesus from the globe, and they will rule on the Earth as Kings and Priests. Then go over to Revelation 20:4, we are the ones sitting on thrones and power of JUDGMENT is given to us! The beheaded saints are resurrected ON EARTH where they stay for 1000 years. They aren't sitting on thrones and power of JUDGMENT ISN'T given to them... we are the Bride... the Elders are just representatives of the Church.

One thing I’ve found that my pre-trib brothers and sisters often say is “Come Lord Jesus” when implying the rapture, though Scripture says His return will be post-trib. It had me thinking that a pre-trib view is dogmatic because it’s a Me-centered doctrine. Save me is held higher than Christ’s 2nd coming, though I don’t think that’s their intent. It they truly meant “Come Lord Jesus” based on Scripture they would know that comes with enduring. Just something I’ve observed. Bless you all and Joel, for your study and unapologetic stance.

During The Rapture, Jesus HIMSELF decends from Heaven to the clouds, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The Trump of God changes us and the shout gathers us. During The RETURN, Jesus comes back from Heaven to the Earth WITH the armies of Heaven, Revelation 19:14-15. The trumpets GATHER and the voice of Jesus destroys the Armies of the World.

So encouraging to see someone covering this topic. Especially in the days, we are now living in. It saddens me so much to see how many believe in the false doctrine of a pre-trib Rapture. Father God May your will be to open their eyes so that they may truly SEE. ♡♡♡

I gave a very loving church a second chance recently after a year and a half. They had some funky teachings and entertained some questions I wasn't willing but the church is fruitful and a have the love of God truly in them. Unfortunately I showed up this last Sunday and they were playing FAI studios clips like this and many others as an example of false teachings on tribulation and rapture. They never said structurally how they were wrong but just showed them to shock the congregation into discomfort over possibly having to endure tribulation. I mentioned to the pastor after the service that fai studios had pre challenged him by saying they would debate anyone who disagreed with he content of the videos and I would let them know he'd be in touch. He got very mad and said to not bother and stormed off. The looks I got from that loving church questioning they're safety of being to special to endure persecution was very telling and very revealing of how the church will turn against their own in the last days.

Jesus said " will I find faith when I return." What a better way to errode faith than to pollute the Church with a false hope. How many will fall away when it doesn't come true.

I was just highlighting that in the pre-trib theory someone has to dictate to you what chapter and verses to go to next and then explain to you the reason for it. Bible is not that complicated, #1 and #2 we have Holy Spirit who guides us into His truth and then instructs us how to prepare ourselves for the last days :) His mercies and grace towards us are a wonder. @@Pre-Tribulation that's one of the things that made me realize the pre-trib Rapture doctrine, which I had been taught all of my life, did not make sense. In the DAY Noah he went into the ark, the door closed and judgment came. With Lot it was the same way. He was taken out and that very day Sodom and Gomorrah was completely destroyed. Most people I know who believe in post-tribulation Rapture, including myself, believe it is prewrath. That means we will be raptured up just before the final day of the Lord where judgment comes down. That is the most logical and fits with Scripture. Every pre-trib Rapture Scripture that I have been given is taken out of context and is adding to Scripture.

He wasn't RESCUED. Noah was safe in the Ark filing his nails too. Noah didn't SWIM to the Ark Noah escaped Judgement

I heard Robert Jefferies this morning on radio say the first resurrection as referred to in Rev 20 would happen in stages, how absurd this is.

Pretrib is how so many will be deceived and explains, in part, the falling away. I pray for those that are waiting and saying “any day now”….every day. It will be sad for them and the church when they realize they in fact are still here. God said endure til the end. By believing that one will be just taken away for no reason leads me to believe that God is allowing these people to be deceived. He wants his true and faithful children that are willing to die for him. I would in Jesus name for the Glory of God amen ✝️ Isaiah 44:18 They do not know, nor do they understand, for He has smeared over their eyes so that they cannot see and their hearts so that they cannot comprehend.

I can relate to what Joel ate. We black folks eat chitterlings(pig intestines). It smells horrible, but I like it. I don’t eat it much anymore, but I can relate! Tertullian also discusses the church's persecution in 'Prescription Against Heretics', chapter 4. I believe there is a Tertullian quote of, "the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church."

I have always been pre trib rapture but this year I have felt led to challenge that and read the Bible for my self and ask God to teach me what His word says. Can I ask, how close to the tribulation do you think we are?

God has showed me that the rapture is post I believe that in 2026 will be the time antichrist will sign the peace covenant with Israel sometime that year so that would be the start of the 7 year tribulation with the great tribulation starting in 2030

But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near. Revelation 1:7 BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

Please debate with Jack Hibbs, as he is leading a huge number of the church, down the wrong path and will not be in readiness for the great tribulation. HE IS TEACHING FALSELY, AGAINST GODS WORD.

All Calvary Chapel pastors teach a pre-trib. It’s just that he has a big audience.

I appreciate how you stated we need to let the Scriptures explain itself and not get caught up in trying to focus on whose name might be 666 as an example. Compare Scripture with Scripture and just trust the written Word of God as it is written without adding to it or taking away from it. ❤

The inherent danger in believing in a pre-trib rapture is expecting to escape persecution. We in the US, have been so blessed that we have not been persecuted for our beliefs.... yet. It is frankly, a life and death situation in many parts the world. Are we ready if it comes to that in our country? We all hope that it will not come to that, but I believe eventually that will be the case. In how many years? We just do not know. Remember the apostles with the exception of maybe John died for their faith. Can we expect anything less if things come to worse? I certainly pray nothing like that happens to us but if it does, are we prepared to keep the faith? I fear the people who believe in the rapture will be so disillusioned if it does not come to pass. We need to prepare ourselves. To be clear, there are many brothers and sisters in Christ who believe in the rapture. Many are in the ministry and are doing great things for the Lord, but I am concerned for them if their eschatological world view does not come to pass. God Bless everyone!

I pray that the christian church wakes up on the truth of this lie of pre trib

Its amazingly SAD that so many so called "christians" believe anything they hear. They are too lazy to search the bible for answers and whatever tickles their ears they believe. Very Sad!! Esp. now when their worlds will come crashing down very soon. Yes I was duped into the thought of a pre trib escape, but then I began to search and question that using scriptures like 2 Thes 2:1-4, Mt 24:29-32. etc. I began to study the greek difference between wrath and tribulation/trials. In Rev. and Mt.24 we are told several times that he who endures will be saved. Why would we be told to endure....if we are already gone.

Thanks Joel! Used to be a Pre Tribber but have been a Post Tribber for about 30 years now. Heard Jack Hibbs make a distinction between The Day of The Lord and The Day of Christ meaning the former is a time of wrath and suffering vs the latter meaning a day of deliverance in his latest Sunday sermon. Do you feel there is the distinction proposed by him??

How interesting that the 1830's is the origin date of the 'rapture' teaching. So many false doctrines originate from this time frame. Joseph Smith, Ellen White just to mention a few. Just as a new Christian reading the Bible as a child the scriptures make the truth of the false teaching of pre trib so clear. ❤

Too many today have changed what Harpazo means and they have also changed what Rapiemur and Rapture means as well. Paul certainly never ever Taught a Pre Trib Coming of Jesus nor a Pre Trib Harpazo that will as we all know only ever take place after the Resurrection!

Not that agree with the pretrib camp or am I one of those who thinks apostasy means the rapture, however it can mean departure, although it's not a physical departure but rather a departure from sound doctrine.

It actually makes me feel really uneasy when I read in comments how people are so invested in the pretrib rapture.Almost as much as the people who flock to (so called) apparitions of Mary,and all the prayers to her,instead of Our Lord.It really makes me wonder how these people will cope when things get bad.

Did you listen to the video? Early church were not “pre-trib”. I have studied many of their writings myself.

I was taught the pretrib doctrine in the Assembly of God growing up however as a child it never fit or made sense when I read it for myself. Can’t wait to meet you this summer! Let God arise and his enemies be scattered!

I had a hard time holding on to the pre-trib rapture belief when I was first born again. I once asked a minister I was studying with this question, "Is it ungodly to donate organs" She asked me why I would even think that, I said, "When the rapture takes place you wouldn't want some unsaved person who received a Christian's heart to drop dead when the heart was reclaimed." She said, "leave it to you to come up with something like that."

No, because of Their Persecution they thought they Missed the Harpazo Rapture Gathering Up together with the Dead in Christ and Paul had to straighten them out that it didn't happen Yet but would in the future.

I had a dream one night that nations were rising against Israel, and they were surrounding it's borders. I ran to my Mom's house and found them watching the news, and we all just knew.... this was the battle of Armageddon. We were taught that was the sign of the rapture being near. We went to church that night, and we were surprised to find that the church was open 24/7, and everyone was waiting patiently to be raptured. I found it odd that people were sitting there with suitcases and worldly treasures because after all, weren't we leaving this world soon? I stepped into the next room over, and there was a guy sitting alone in the corner of the room all by himself at a white folding table. As I walked over, people were scoffing him and telling me not to talk to him. I debated it for a second and decided to walk over anyway and see what he had for sale on his table. He said take one of these books, you'll need it. I said what is the book and how much is it. He said it's free. I picked it up and opened it and it was a plastic, bubble style book that you see babies teething with, and when I opened it... it lit up on the inside of the pages so you could read them in the dark. I said what is this and kind of laughed thinking, okay, this is why people told me to not talk to you.... he said it's a manual of all of the signs, trumpets and bowls of judgment so you'll know when Jesus' return is near. I said he's returning any minute, what do you mean?.... that's when I read the cover of the book and it said The Rapture, The Great Deception. It's like I went through a time warp because I took the book, turned around and it was after the mark of the beast and everyone refusing the mark was starving. Some were humble but sad, watching their children share a single plate while they starved. Some men and women were crying at the sorrow of watching their families starving. But some were scoffing God and mad because they were lied to and now faced trials and tribulations that they were told they could escape. This caused a falling away of people from the church and God. Needless to say, I woke up and was pretty irritated that I had that dream. It didn't match anything that I had known about Revelations. It wasn't until I heard a guy on coast to coast years later that was explaining post trib and why pre trib was a Great Deception. I'm thankful that I was given that dream. That was about 15 years ago. Just sharing my dream with you all. Sorry it's so long.

WOW! THAT IS AMAZING! In your very introduction you said something very profound to me.... Long story short, I was really struggling with some things( not sins) and it took a deep study into the doctrine of Righteousness by Faith in order for me to come out of it and be released from a RELIGIOUS spirit! It didn't come easy! I searched the Scriptures and let the Holy Spirit show me the truth...I fought between what I had heard and say under, and what I was finding in the Word. When I was completely convinced BY THE SCRIPTURES, and settled it in my heart that THE WORD was right..and what I had been told was wrong..I said to God...ok. Then I said " Well, if this is right...then what about the Rapture? Do you know what the response was from the Holy Spirit? Plain as day..he said to me- "WHEN DID THE PRE- TRIBULATION RAPTURE BEGIN TO BE PREACHED?" ( almost exactly what you said in the into!) This was such a profound question to me, and one that I had NEVER thought to ask myself! ( I was a pre-trib rapture believer myself at the time..but I did have questions, obviously). This question from the Spirit set me on a journey...and after much study, I have not believed in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory since...that was like 17 years ago or more. I thank God that you guys are being bold, but kind, and trying to help others to see the truth. I do not have many friends now in the church community because of my view on this. But my concern is that THE BELIEF IN THE PRE-TRIB RAPTURE THEORY WILL HELP LEAD SOME, A GREAT DEAL MAYBE...FURTHER INTO APOSTASY. I never believed in a pre-trib rapture. I always felt like it was a cop out. But then again, I don’t expect every Christian to have tough skin.

Absolutely love this because i habe have seen pre tribulationsists misquote church fathers particularly ken Johnson He actually changes the quotes from his book when you compare some qoutes to the orginal translations For example He removes a partof justin martyrs qoute where He says " Us Christian's " and changes it to i believe " Believers"

Grew up on the teaching and Hal lindsey, my parents thought I was nuts when I said its not scriptural.. John Hagee and his look up He could come any minute.. Scripture tells us the rapture is after persecution and the great tribulation: In Revelation 20:4,5, John sees the souls of those who were beheaded for refusing to take the mark of the beast or worshipping his image during the great tribulation, and he says they are part of the first resurrection: KJV Revelation 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 - But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. "This is the first resurrection" is pertaining to verse 4. How do we know that? Because the 2nd resurrection is at the end of the 1000 years: "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished". Now, what happens AFTER the first resurrection, which includes people beheaded for not worshipping the beast during the reign of the antichrist in the great tribulation (Rev 20:4)? Let's look at scripture: KJV 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 - Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. It says the Lord descends from Heaven first ("For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven"), then the first resurrection ("and the dead in Christ shall rise first"), which involves those who were beheaded for refusing the antichrist during the great tribulation (Rev 20:4), and THEN the rapture at the end ("Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds") Scripture is clear.

I have a book by David Bercot I think every Christian should have, 700 topics of what the Early Christians believed.

Just out of curiosity because I am new to this channel, does FAI associate itself with a particular denomination or doctrine of faith. For example, does FAI lean toward an Arminian, Calvinist, or some other theology system, and does FAI affiliate as Baptist, Methodist, etc? I am just wondering so I can get an idea of what you believe Biblically. I just want to get to know this channel and its statement of faith. I read a lot of books by different denominations and watch videos from different denominations so long as they are true to Scripture. The areas where they diverge from the Bible I just pay that stuff no mind but realize I can learn from many sources so long as like I said what they are teaching is in agreement with the Holy written Word of God. I am trying to learn. As for me, I personally identify as a Reformed Faith similar to guys like R.C. Sproul, John MacArthur, C.H. Spurgeon, A.W. Pink, etc.

It’s also awesome how all the early Church fathers agreed about everything being nations apart writing same teachings up until around 400 A.D. once the Church started merging with the world’s government in the west things started getting fouled up. While the eastern Church even to this day pretty much stayed the same, they even still use the Septuagint. Which the Apostles quote 90% from the Septuagint.

I’m not a staunch pre Tribber. But I can’t imagine Jesus would allow His Bride to face the rest of the Trib… last 3 1/2 years.. what an unimaginable test for Believers. I do believe we will face the AC who is currently on the scene.

Are you an American? I am, and it's really only the western world who believes in pre-tribulation rapture bc of things like you said. The rest of the world has dealt with terrible persecution that we can't even imagine. From the apostles to today, Christians are constantly killed and persecuted. We are just VERY LUCKY to live in such a free nation.

He let all the apostles get tortured, exiled and murdered; what makes us think we are any better to get out of the tribulations He promised we would have? They are to purify us, as Joel read, and in this day and age especially, we are surrounded by impurity. I was just thinking about how easy it is, with today’s technology, to be inundated with evil. So much more so than even when I was growing up before computers or internet. We need the world taken out of us no doubt! Our tribulations will require a decision between set-apartness, or worldliness.

Clearly you know nothing about the History of the Apostle's and Believer's in Jesus Christ ! So far more than 600 Million Christian's have been Killed Beheaded Crucified and Burnt Alive for Faith in Jesus Christ and the Word of God ! And Continue to be so every day every year and the Tribulation of those Days has not started Yet.

Interesting to know Christians had head covering tradition taught by the Apostles way before Islam.

According to Daniel 12. Where the Angel send to Daniel that the truth about the endtimes will only be revealed at the end , I would be surprised if the church fathers know anything about the rapture.

Read John 11 1 thru 25 martha makes it very clear here Saying I know Ill see my brother Lazarus again in the resurrection on the last DAY revelation 20 verse 6 says blessed and holy is he who takes part in the first resurrection no pre trib its post my brothers and sisters

Hi Joel, thankU for Ur work ..so, at Rom11:25 ..Israel is in blindness until the number of Gentiles is full ..and the subtext send to Rev7:9 ..a great multitude of all nations, tribes, peoples and tongues etc. For me this is about the number of gentiles, the fullness of the gentiles ( belivers& martyrs) and also at Rev6:9,10,11....but some say its about the jews from among all nations, tongues etc. So, which is it? ThankU.

I just found this channel. Within the last year, after years of reading my Bible all the way through every year starting in 2010 I have stopped believing in the pretrib rapture due to I noticed I saw no mention of it anywhere in Scripture. The other clincher for me is Christ's words when He stated He would return after the tribulation of those days in Matthew 24 and Mark 13. I also began questioning the pretrib rapture when I began to question why preachers were interpreting certain passages in favor of the pretrib rapture when the Scripture they were referring to gave no clear or obvious reference to a pretrib rapture. I have heard for years that Revelation 4 teaches the pretrib rapture. When I read that chapter, there is no reference or reason to think that chapter is speaking of a rapture of the church, let alone a pretrib rapture. I am looking forward to hearing what you have to say on this subject. I will check out your other videos in this series as well. I learned a while back that the pretrib rapture theory did not come about until around 1830 or so. J.N. Darby, I learned was the one that really got the pretrib rapture teaching started and made it popular through preachers like Moody and Scofield, etc.

Revelation 20:4-6 was the final selling point for me on a post tribulation rapture. If this is the 1st resurrection, what was the resurrection 7 years earlier.

That's why some pre-trib believers adopt a multiple rapture/resurrection position. It means nothing now but emotional comfort to them. They act like immature and emotionally distraught children and ask foolish questions about their pets being caught up also 🙄

Or they split the 1st resurrection into 2 parts. The rapture, where Jesus comes down and does an immediate U-turn. Then the 2d coming which is technically the 3rd after the U-turn which is then the 1st resurrection which is technically the 2d
