You are a man after my own heart, thank you. I have been a Christian for over 50 years, and a Bible teacher for over 40 years and have never been to a church that did not teach of a pretribulation rapture. But I knew from early on it was not supported by Scripture. To the point, the Lord showed me two separate revelations, the second clarifying the first. The first one was that the pretribulation rapture doctrine is to the church what evolution is to the world. There was no clarification at that time. Some time later He explained what was meant. It was that the theory of evolution gives the world an alternative view of God's creation. The pretribulation rapture doctrine gives the church an alternative view of His second coming. He further indicated that this would be, in part, for people to fall away in the great apostasy, through being disillusioned if they were not firmly planted in Christ. Those that are firmly planted will make the adjustments as a bump in the road. Keep up the good work.

I got what ppl call "church hurt", I left my former church after realizing nothing they or what the televangelists they follow say ever came to fruition. Long story short it made me question not God or Jesus, but the Body of Christ as a whole and I began my journey of deconstructing centuries worth of status quos in American Evangelism.

If MY church was closest or the true church what more would I find out of it? Dispair then apathy. I just didn't care to return to my former church. Now since starting on this path to find Truth which was shown to me through Yehovahs doing, I'm now re strengthening my trust in Yehovah and Yeshua! Re learning and learning much things andar peace with my creator.

I opened the book of Mathew 24, prayed for help, at that time believing in pre trib rapture. The Holy Spirit came to teach me that day that when Jesus says "immediately after" that means AFTER. Sure it also says He will come when NO ONE expects, As a theif in the Night. Letting us know that so much will be happening in this world, we will not be watching unless we are ALWAYS watching. Post trib is the Day if the Lord. Thats when He comes for the remnant left.❤️🙏👋

No, Jesus said IF YOU DO NOT WATCH, I will come upon you like a thief. By the way, the rapture does occur in Matthew 24, but it's not the gathering of the elect at the end of the tribulation (FROM heaven, not TO heaven), no the rapture is "one will be taken, one will be left". Jesus teaches this clearly associating the rapture with the days of Lot and the days of Noah, the clear message being that both Noah and Lot escaped BEFORE the judgement came.

@@aftonline When Jesus says, "About that day knows no man..." He is not referring back to something that is not even in the text of the chapter. He is referring back to the coming that He just mentioned a few verses prior. Were the disciples able to read the mind of Jesus, and discern that He was referring to something that Pretribbers claim was not revealed until it was revealed by Paul ten to twenty years later? "They will see His COMING on the clouds..." "Just as in the days of Noah, so it will be at the COMING..." And if you want to compare the rescue of Noah and Lot with the rapture, they do NOT teach an imminent rapture. Pretribbers claim that the rapture comes without any warning, suddenly. Both Noah and Lot were warned, and neither were taken off the earth. In the story of Noah, the entire world was destroyed. There were no left behind tribulation saints. In the story of Lot, the entire city was destroyed and Lot, fleeing in fear, ended up in a cave raped by his daughters. Is that how the rapture works? No! Scripture is comparing Abraham who chose to dwell in Bethel (the house of God) and Lot, who chose to make his home in the world. Abraham was faithful, while Lot was lukewarm, saved as one who barely escapes the flames.

Yea, that is where Holy Spirit of Jesus comes in real handy as He keeps us in His embrace and rebukes the whispers of Satan that tries to infiltrate the mind so we would accept the lies and be troubled, But glory and thanks be to Jesus for our God keeps us His children through all the ups and downs of life. The gospel of Jesus; His grace; His finished work, truly is power beyond human words, that the deception is ultimately rebuked and sent back to where it belongs, the pit of hell. May our Lord Jesus always the comforter and no matter what may come your way, may His eyes be upon your eyes to see what our God sees and know with assurance that His love for us has defeated death already. Even though we are still having to ride on the bumpy road until Jesus rescues us, may His Spirit of truth always be the reminder of His truth which is His comfort and assurance that no one or nothing will snatch us His children out of His embrace. As someone who has used a clay oil lamp on many occasions, I can testify that a lamp that is running out of oil puts out a very terrible stench! Believers 2000 years ago would have known that when hearing this parable, but most today don’t realize how offensive they can become if low on oil!

The problem with a pre trib rapture is, when the "persecution even unto death" begins, they won't be mentally prepared for what is coming. The false messiah comes first, if you are looking for Jesus first...many will be decieved.

Easily done sadly in our sluggishness, especially in our comfort loving lives in the West. Too much emphasis on men, not enough seeking after God first and foremost. Haha, my fellow Bostonian... I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard. I know exactly how you feel. I grew up in MA - north of Boston on the coast, but now live on the coast of Virginia. I'm a hand-talking Northern Greek gal who loves a healthy debate. Your defense is solid. : ) This is a very timely message for me - I love your teachings. I find I debate with my heart on a daily. One of my simple prayers is, Lord, I know you always lead me to the truth - don't let me get in the way - Your will always! Or some version of that.. but the one thing that I'm sure of is that He always does lead me to the truth, and I trust Him to get me there. Thanks for all you do, Joel!

This is such an important message! It's when people that are in reputation and honour, such as those holding the title of pastor for instance, start teaching the pre-tribulation false "idea" that the most harm is done because people feel that they are in safe hands with a pastor and especially one that presents his beliefs in such a fluent and persuasive manner and so people will start flocking there in droves. It's very sad.

For years during the Holidays, I worked for an online fruit sales company. Pears, baskets, fruit, etc that were way too expensive. I could see the phone numbers of the calls coming in. I quickly learned the area codes of that area especially New York. Sometimes, I'd get tagged team (husband/wife) yelling at me because their pears were too soft. I was younger back then & it bothered me. I'm older & If I still worked there, I'd just go with the flow. It's how they are. It wasn't personal or hateful. Thanks, for everything you do. Pre-trib people are very hardline, I've found. If I dare to suggest in the comments of their videos that they should at least tell their followers to prepare for the worst, just in case they are wrong, I get very hard replies back. They tell me how right they are and how wrong I am. I find it difficult to understand why they are like that. It's as if they are trying to defend their view to themselves as well as to me. I think that may be what it is, that they are trying to convince themselves that they will escape the suffering to come. How could Jesus let them suffer? I have listened to their reasonings and checked my bible. Nowhere have I found evidence of a pre-trib rapture. I just can't get through to them with my arguments. We must pray that they find the truth before they are confronted with what may overwhelm them. Like you, Joel, I would be so thankful not to face the horror to come. I would be laughing if I were saved in a pre-trib rapture. Just not expecting it. Praying the Lord will get me through it. Bless you for all you do. Maranatha.

My comments are usually deleted, no matter how respectful and lovingly I try to ask them to consider a scripture or ask the Father in the secret place for knowledge and wisdom..... The only thing I can come up with is 2 Thessalonians 2:10, 11. (my paraphrase) V10 they received not the love of the truth (their heart/flesh wants to fly away and not go through pain of tribulation) v11 for this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. (𝙞𝙛 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙂𝙤𝙙 who is sending the delusion because He knows their heart, there's nothing I can say to change their mind.)

I actually made some notes earlier, from my own study following this series. I believe that Dalton covered these in episode 3. Gathering Together (Rapture) of the saints to Jesus - Matthew 24:27-31 [lighting comes from East, so will be coming of the Son of Man, sign of the return of the Lord matches 6th seal, lightning matches 7th trumpet] - 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 [gathering at the Lord's return, dead in christ rise first, trumpet call of God] - 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 [not gathered unless man of lawlessness comes first, i.e. antichrist] - 1 Corinthians 15:51,52 [changed in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet] Hope that helps a bit 😊

The reason why many pretribbers are very hardline is because sadly, for many of them, their faith is rooted in emotions and not facts. They NEED pretrib to be true. Emotions evoke a very strong response. I have spoken to several pretribbers who have gone as far as saying that if the rapture doesn't happen before the tribulation starts then they'll doubt the entire Bible. It seems for some, their faith depends on being kept out of harms way - and this is a perfect example of why the Church needs purifying through trial. It is not a coincidence that pretrib is the predominant belief in the Western world - Westerners with easy, comfortable lives don't want to contemplate persecution or to think about their lives being interrupted and so pretrib is very appealing to them. Imagine how appealing the promise is of hot meals, daily showers and your favourite ball game right up until the end. Pretrib appeals to the weakness of the flesh. I have debated many dozens of pretribbers and what starts out as a relatively cordial debate often degenerates into them name calling when they run out of arguments. I have been called 'pure evil' for questioning pretrib. I've been called 'unsaved' numerous times. All they have are slurs because they can't debate the plain fact that pretib is a patently obvious false doctrine that is so easy to debunk it really takes no effort at all and one must be willfully blind to deny it. I was ran out of a local church the day I questioned their stance on pretrib, having worshipped there for nearly two years. Their position was: "We're pretrib - either you're pretrib too or you're out". Pretrib is a cult.

The last passage Joel read "who is the wise servant who the master made ruler over all his house.. to give them their food in due season.. I really think this is speaking litterally. Like the 7 years of plenty and the 7 years of famine with Joseph, he was literally able to sustain his family bc he stock piled food when there was plenty. I believe this verse is saying the same. I mean some oatmeal or rice may be the difference to someone who is thinking about talking the mark. I really really feel like while we can we need to do what we can, while we can still buy. Maybe just a couple things a week.. but start saving something (not cash bc it will be worthless anyway).

@MeLrOsE429 I mean, yeah, trust in God is a big one. I have an emergency to go pack just in case. I bought a tent that i can just throw in my husband car if we see it come to that. Personally, I plan on being martyred and going home. Until then, though, having some extra water and non-perishable food to give to people who are unaware of what is happening is my goal. Obviously, having 3.5 years of food and water is not possible. But it will be the best time to get the gospel out. I really don't think most will make it to the rapture bc they will be killed before then. Who cares, all they are doing by killing people is sending them home.

@MeLrOsE429 we have no idea when this will all happen. I like the documentary Messiah 2030. Plus 2030 makes sense for Jesus's return, but still it's just an educated guess. Matthew 24 Jesus gives a huge clue about the abomination of desolation. That has not happened yet, when it does I pray we will be ready for what's to come.

We could build up a storehouse of food (and we are but not a doomsday type of setup) because we also know that, in that day, the mark will be required for gasoline (so no travel) and, as I mentioned, if you cannot pay your mortgage.... but this is where I think getting alone with the Father and asking for knowledge and wisdom is what I must do because I can try to figure it out all day long but my peanut-sized brain cannot. Revelation 22:18-19 says: “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18-19 It may turn out to be a salvation issue. To have one’s “part taken out of the Book of Life” is devastating eternally. We know what will happen to those whose names are not found in the Book of Life and the Pre-Trib rapture is adding and taking away and there is a very real danger in doing that.

What I can say with ABSOLUTE confidence about Biblical eschatology is this…Jesus will return when the Father says, “Go”!

When my husband was young, he never heard of a “rapture” until the late 80’s early 90’s when pastors really started teaching it in the church . He ditched the pre wrath/post tribulation resurrection, and started to believe in a pre trib rapture. That lasted until recently, when I asked him, “why are we believing this? I think we’re afraid of the tribulation.” He immediately got defensive, saying “No way! It’s because it’s true, that’s why I believe!” I said “well, from what our pastor keeps saying, so much of the Book of Matthew, and Peter has nothing to do with the gentiles. In fact he saying that most of Revelation has nothing to do with the gentiles. He keeps saying over and over again; ‘we don’t need to worry! Because we won’t be here’ it’s all surrounding a teaching out of fear, and it doesn’t sound like the character of our Lord!” Our “blessed hope” isn’t the rapture. Our blessed hope is that we be counted worthy on the day we meet the Lord. Our blessed hope is Christ Jesus HIMSELF. That we’re covered by His precious and righteous blood. Whether it’s in death, or if we somehow survive the Great Tribulation, Lord willing, that we be counted worthy and therefore, saved on the day of the Lord. Praise God that he finally admitted to me that it was fear of having to go through the Great Tribulation. He did a lot of his own research regarding the early church fathers and came to face his own fear and no longer believes in a pre tribulation rapture. ✝️

I am post rapture because I believe we should all be tested and that is all.

@@user-hy2du8fg6l Yep. Also claiming the word FIRMAMENT means the 'expanse' of space. Also preachers claiming to know God's Word and his creation, then waxing lyrical about how amazing the Universe is and how it demonstrates God's awesomeness. Completely fooled and deluded.

I have also noticed how defensive they get when they cannot get us to believe these things not proven in scripture. This is not the holy spirit. I was a preterist all my life up until the reformed church got me out of fantasy land. I was teachable, because God allowed me to be open to correction, but they do not care about what is right in some areas. They have decided to believe what they want in spite of evidence.

I don’t understand why some say this isn’t a salvation issue….. or they are okay with “agree to disagree” this is gonna be so detrimental for many people later on if the church doesn’t get it together.

Appreciate the heart felt path. But evil is evil and lies are lies. Stealing is stealing. We see it. And the awakening is our own opportunity to repent and change. God spoke. People were correct in their words from the Lord. Satan is desparate in this hour and the church is waking up. And I don't see a future tribulation. Its happening. Our country is under covenant with God and we have to return.

I'm one God Jesus name pentecostal and I know for a fact that what Jesus birthed after his resurrection in the book of Acts continues to this day. Of course we still have to be careful and judge accordingly

Ok so what do we do in a no pre trib reality,? Take a tip from the LDS. Preparation, food storage, self sufficiency, Remember the 10 virgins. Keep your lamps full physically and spiritualy.

Last thing. God knows times have changed. Very wise. The earth no longer speaks death. Laws have changed.

personally I think everyone should use their own discernment and intuition and not give their power away to anyone. I do believe that there are challenges coming and a great shift in spirit and consciousness is already underway. I've found the best way to evaluate any claim is to do your own research first, listen to multiple channels, look at their track record and be open to changing your mind if the information resonates within your heart and makes sense. While it still might not necessarily happen, you won't have just given away your power to unscrupulous, foolish or otherwise misinformed people.

I've found trusting in mankind to often result in frustration, confusion and disappointment. However, trusting in Jesus Christ I've found someone truly worthy of all my trust and loyalty. My life is in His hands and I strive to keep knowing Him better and to keep following Him 😊

Between the two: the pretribers and the post tribers, are they strong enough in their faith and enough to go through the great tribulation . They think they are righteous enough to be raptured. Are they walking with God like Enoch and Elijah.

I've been a Christian (Charasmatic) for 45 yrs. I know of no prophet during this time except possibly Kenneth Hagin Sr. Doesn't mean I don't believe in modern day prophets, just means if there have been any in the last 45 yrs, I don't know them. Thoughts?

Agree completely. I never gave it to much thought other than that if what a "prophet" says does not come to pass, then that prophet is not from God. Although the Bible says " your young men will prophecy and your old men will dream dreams, in the time of the end.. so..there absolutely could be, but people just need to be super cautious, and make sure they aren't being pulled into a cult.

My opinion only is that all the true prophets of old are resting in JESUS. There won't be any new ones until the 2 witnesses arrive. Anyone claiming to be a prophet today have MONETIZED the Words of JESUS CHRIST for their profit.

If u understand d story of d five foolish virgins who grew tired of waiting bcos their timing doesn't tally with our Lord's return, symbolically represented with finished oil in their lamps coupled with Apostle Paul's warning about d great "falling away " and d coming of d man of lawlessness, then u can understand d predicament d pri-tribers are confronted with.

I have a friend that insists that if I don't believe in the pretrib rapture I will be left behind. I gave up trying to discuss this matter with her.

Ps Joel you say that the pre-trib doctrine is false, and that those who preach it look and sound like the false prophets of Ezekiel’s time, preaching peace when there is no peace. Yet you want to make it clear from the start that you are not calling them false prophets?

Can you compliment this on how to identify false Pastor's or more Biblically, Shepherds?

yes!! how to properly test them with the Scriptures… remember satan also knows the Scriptures and he quoted from them to tempt Jesus, he is very intelligent and has been observing us for a long time, evil’s strategy is always either telling an incomplete truth out of context or a truth mixed with a lie… and false teachers will deceive you while quoting Scripture

@@dhe777 seems to me that the institutionalized church always ends up with corrupted leaders imposing an agenda … I don’t follow men… I don’t associate with any denomination… so much deception and disappointment and it leads people to reject God because of the fault in men… eyes and heart on Jesus and the Word that’s it…

One day of the lord where all the dry bones then all that are left written in the book of life get caught up. The ones who are martyred are the tribulation saints. Directly read from the word. Heaven comes down to earth, we don't go to heaven. The Millinial reign.
