Dude. I have the exact same mentality with cf. i dont think id want a transplant unless like u said i had other responsibilities like kids and a wife and it wasnt just me. Also some other kid out there who really really wants to live isnt gonna get that lung because i took it when i dont really care to. Id go out and do crazy things before my life ended as well. Im 20 almost 21 ( march 6 ) and my lung capacity ( when im healthy ) is still at 76% so rn im still pretty damn healthy for a cfer. And im able to party and go live life with my friends and be able to control what i wanna do. Ive been very fortunate to have these experiences. So i wouldnt take one either because i have lived such a great life even with cf when someone who hasnt had such an awesome life as i do would want the chance to experience that when they get their new lungs. So id basically be taking that from them. Like u said im not afraid to die. I have accepted it and this disease. Love your content man. Keep it up.
