Ok, for one. She is BEAUTIFUL! She looks so young. Her skin is like flawless! Jealous. Secondly, a lot of CF trolls wanna talk about how CF parents pain isn't as bad as ours, I disagree. I think it hits just as hard. Just in a different way. Our pain eventually ends, but theirs lives on even when we don't. Her reaction shows how raw and deep that pain can really be and parents don't get the credit they deserve for walking through this hellstorm with us. I'm glad you did a video of her reaction, it's important for people to see and understand all points of view, including the people who go through this with us. 💜 #strongMamaRightThere

So we just went and saw this movie...my daughter organized a little CF Fundraiser with a small town theater. There was info about CF, my grand daughters journey so far in 2 short years, and a silent auction with proceeds going to CF here in Canada. It started with a little slideshow of HS' 2 years so far. There was not a dry eye in that room. When the movie ended we all just sat there for a good 5 minutes as the future HS is facing had just finished lighting the screen. I don't do the daily treatments with my grandbaby, I see her every month when she comes to the city to attend CF Clinic and will going on my first "Ride-along" to Toronto for her Drug Trial clinic...but I will say it has an affect on everyone in the family and like you and your mom...I'm so glad this movie is out there! The more we learn, the more we support. The more we support, the sooner Cystic Fibrosis can kiss our ass! ♥

Thanks mom for allowing us to witness your reaction, my husband refused to go, but I took my mom too and I knew she cried because of how she felt when I was diagnosed with my disease. One of the only times I saw my hubby cry was during the fault in our stars, so now he won't go to any movie with someone with lung disease, because it has to deal with death and he doesn't want to see it, although he knows it's inevitable. I'm so glad your disease is getting more exposure! Bless you both.

Going into the movie I had no idea what cystik fibrosis was. I just knew two things, one being that I LOVE Justin Baldoni and all of his work and knew that I had to watch his movie. Second it was just a cute little love story. After sobbing through the entire movie I left and researched the crap out of CF. I know so much about it now and I hope to study CF later in the medical field. This movie was amazing and brings so much awareness. I love your mom, your story, and your channel. To us its so hard , I’m a cf mum and we have been threw a lot. Last year my oldest cf daughter was really ill but we kept on fighting and she finally pulled threw and got out on the living side. Now just a year later my youngest cf daughter is in an even worse place and talks about transplant is now coming up. It’s so weird that a film like this comes up when it’s actually our reality in this very now. I have not seen the film yet, it has not reached Sweden. I’m going to be brave and embrace it. And yes going threw this suffering whit your teenage daughters is awful but we learn a lot, about love 💕 about life and how much it’s worth it to fight. To be brave and live for them when they just have the strength . Lots of love to all you fighters out there mums parents family but above al , you brave cfers ❣️keep it up

I'm a nurse student and hell, I cried so much during the film. I don't know how to put it into words really. I realize that, even though I have to deal mith my own disease endometriosis, I am so lucky. I'm also so angry and upset because kids aren't supposed to die. And they aren't supposed to spend their lives in hospitals. And have a life-expectancy of 30-40 years is so unbelievable, hell you haven't even lived yet. And as your mom says, we need to find a cure to this. I can't really wrap my head around it, this is so unbelievable and unfair. I don't even know how to put it into words and it's so hard for me to understand that people actually have to live like this.

I don't have CF, but I have watched five feet apart. I never even knew that CF was a thing until watching the movie. I think this movie is a really good movie to get awareness out about CF. many people have never even heard of it. I cried so many times through out it. I don't know anyone with CF, so I can't even imagine what you've gone through. I have subscribed after my sister showing me your video to your reaction of the trailer. your mums reaction made me tear up. I really hope that they find a cure for people with CF. it is such a horrible thing and we shouldn't take breathing for granted. I know that it's not only about breathing, but that is a main part. You are so strong and so is your mother. It is so sad that CF takes peoples life and it shouldn't be like that. I really hope one day they find a cure for it. many people can agree when I say this, that people with CF are just like any of us even though they have a condition. they still have feelings and the things people can say or ask can sometimes be hurtful, even if they aren't meant to be taken that way. try to stay strong. we are all here to try to lift you up on your days when you don't feel so good. i am hoping that it's gets better for you. try to stay positive:))

Stumbled upon this channel from falling in a bit of a rabbit hole googling cf after watching 5 feet few weeks ago. I'm ugly crying as much as I did when watching the movie... And laughing at Morgan's jokes 😅.

i took my partner to see 5 feet apart. and I bawled my eyes out. I dont have Cf and it hit me hard. Its bringing so much awareness to Cf!! My partner was asking me all these questions about CF on the way home (thanks to Morgan and The Frey Life i was able to answer them!) I was in the bathroom after the movie and i overheard some ladies talking about Cf and the 6 feet apart rule. I am so proud of Justin, it was an incredible movie! I also LOVED how they had Claire in the credits.. I was hoping that they had something for her in the movie

I saw this movie opening weekend and I’ll be perfectly honest, I’m still contemplating it. I don’t have CF and I’ve never had any experiences with it, but this movie touched me drastically. I can’t get my thoughts about it to stop. I think that’s what makes the movie so phenomenal, it comes back to you and makes you consider the disease and what patients endure. It was an amazing effort by Justin, the cast and crew, and a touching tribute to the CF community. Thank you for your honest reactions and to your Mom for sharing her thoughts and your personal testimony.
